Someone was supposed to come out and fix our garage door. The morning they were suppose to come out, no one showed up. Called to see why no one had shown up and was told by the guy that was supposed to be there "oh I had gone to a different job". I can be there later. I had told him no that's not good time for me that's why I set the time up in the morning. Why would you go to a different job? The guy proceeds ti tell me well i didnt think you were really going to be there at that time. Ehy he woukd get that idea. I am not sure. He was supposed to be there at 10 am. Not like it was really early. Never will use them again
Description of Work: I was supposed to have my garage door fixed.

Description of Work: My ice maker was leaking and the ice was melting and refreezing into one block. The service provider cleaned the ice maker and educated me on how best to use my refrig/freezer. He was very helpful.

We've been having issues with our washing machine for 4 weeks or more. After my husband replaced the pump, it continued to leak. We called up Sears, and though a specific person was recommended to us, we could not request that person. Reason? The support person was in some far-off country, difficult to understand, and had no clue how to help us. We had a service man come to the house as scheduled, and after remarking in a very condescending way on my husband's installation of the pump, he stated the problem was a simple switch. He gave us the option to have him come back the next day with the correct part to fix it (for $180), or my husband could buy the part and install it easily ($30+$75 for the appointment fee). I'm glad he gave us the option, but it still does not work. My husband is pretty confident the part he replaced was not faulty. If we want them to come back, it will cost us at least $37.50, since we and quot;turned downand quot; their estimate. Local service run by a national (or rather international) corporation does NOT work!
Description of Work: The service man assessed the machine, told us which part needed to be replaced, then after we replaced the part it continues to leak.

These guys are great. They are friendly and knowledgable. They wipe their feet before coming into your home and work carefully. We have had several differeny service techs, and all have been very good to us.
Description of Work: We bought a new washer and dryer set from Sears, with it we purchased the Master Protection Plan. They come once a year to perform a check and any preventative maintenance that is necessary.

Made an appointment the week prior to schedule for them to come out on Tuesday. On Monday, they called and said they were booked and couldn't come out though I had already received an automated phone call confirming that they were coming. Not sure why they would say they were booked when I had an appointment. So, it was rescheduled for the following Friday. I took off work, stayed home all morning waiting on them. They were supposed to arrive between 8-12. Finally. at 12pm, I get a call saying that they could not come until later in the afternoon. Gave them an ear full of advice about being cancelled on twice. They no-showed, unreliable, and all around suck. Extremely unprofessional.
Description of Work: They were scheduled to fix a Kenmore water softener.
