Gary was working in a tight corner, removing the old wax ring (which was like concrete), and he stuck with it until the job was done. He got rid of the old ring, replaced it with a new one, corrected an old problem with the water feed, and gave us back a working toilet. It was expertly handled.

Gary visited the house to ensure that everything was draining correctly and that he had all the correct tools. He explained to my wife how everything would go, then went to pick up the water heater. He used a taller water heater--same capacity and warranty, from the same manufacturer--and fixed the cold water input that wasn't working to completely shut off the incoming flow. Because Gary needed a couple of extra things to fix the cold water input valve and pipe, we thought he would need to charge more; instead, he kept his estimate the same and did the job anyway. It looks great and works exactly as it should. He did a very clean and smooth job installing our new water heater, and he put my wife's mind at ease concerning the whole project (I was out of town at a conference). This entire process, from my initial call to his finishing the installation, was quick, efficient, and professionally accomplished. We recommend Gary Zerwer for anyone who wants their plumbing done right for a good price and is concerned about having someone knowledgeable do the work. Gary fits the bill in all particulars.

I originally contacted Zerwer Plumbing on June 9, 2011 to fix a commode that would no longer flush. No response. Angie's List says they accept email, so I sent one. No response. On June 15, 2011 I received a telephone call from them apologizing for taking so long to get back to me - they had telephone problems. I asked about the email and was told they were not online. (!?) I thanked him for contacting me and letting me know about the telephone problem but explained to him that I had to go with another company since I did not hear from them.

This is the 2nd time I have used this company. He shows up on time is very courteous. Cleans up any mess made during the work. Cleaned out drain then ran water down the floor drain and the drain for the washer to find out where the problem was at. Explained to me what needed to be done and what he could do to get me by til I was ready to tear up basement floor. After he caped off the floor drain he had me do a load of laundry to make sure it wouldn't back up.
