Great price and warranty

BUYER BEWARE!!! My entire house vinyl siding was replaced. Within 6 months a section on one side blew off. It was replaced. They were out to my house at least 5 different times. My siding on North, south and east side was all starting to come off again so I called another contractor because Cronkite could never seem to fix. The entire walls had to be removed. There were no nails in the siding, the same thing one of their repair men told me. After taking siding off it was very obvious why the siding did not stay on. It was nailed into styrofoam that they had as last layer for insulation. No one bothered to nail into studs. I have pictures to show this. This is the worse expensive job I have seen and may take it further to get compensation because it was like this from the begging, their repairmen never found the problem and it was very expensive to fix.

Used sketchy lumber. Made them replace top board on deck because it was split down the length of the board, they were not happy

Learned a lot about siding

I had this company replace my windows, siding, insultation and decking on my porch. They were on time and did an absolutely beautiful job. I got used to opening my front door and finding their crews working. They were here for about a week and I never even had to clean up after them. What a marvel! The young man that ran the siding crew(Carlos) was nothing but kind and nice to me no matter what stupid question I asked. I can't praise this company enough.

Can not at this time still waiting to get my deck build. I paid them half 5 weeks ago they told me it could take them up to 13 weeks to get back to me to work on my deck. They are booked that far out.

They did a great job on the deck.

I was very upset with this company, I had them out once before for a quote and they were way to expensive, this time they came out (same guy) Rory and he gave me a quote I could handle. So I said ok, as soon as I said that he wanted half up front. I should have backed out then. But I didn't, they gave me a time spread of 8-16 weeks. They came on the 16th week which meant they came the day after Thanksgiving ripped my old deck and stairs out leaving my dogs no way to get in and out of the yard and then left.then 2 days later some guy came and put wood against my house until the crew got then to start working. They never called to tell me they were coming or leaving.Then the work on it was not good. the wood decorative spindle everyone of them has a split in it.The screw were not screwed in all the way. One guy on the crew tried to help screw some of the screws back in for me but my wood was uneven and split in alot of places.I had asked them to fill the holes that were in front of my old deck when they dug the new holes. Sales men even added to the contract.Instead of filling the holes with the dirt they poured sand in the holes now I have all kinds of ground bees in my yard in that sand that I never had before. I am sorry but I can't recommend this company.

Sales - No pressure, very professional and friendly. The sales professional was very knowledgeable and helpful with great ideas. Cost was within our budget. Service - They were on schedule. Installers were professional, courteous and clean. Removed and replaced old slider without any damage to our newly installed hardwood floors. We had a small trim issue and they promptly returned to fix. We were very pleased with the entire experience and would recommend Cronkite to anyone that is considering a home improvement project. We started with prices of a four seasons room on an existing deck which would included 2 walls. Room size 7x14, because of the price we decided to go with a 3 seasons room.We put down a deposit and was told it normally takes 4 to 6 weeks, after 6 weeks the products to build the 3 seasons room did not come, so the company did order product for a 4 seasons room and started installation at no extra cost to us. Andy was our sales rep and is very, very helpful above and beyond. Except for the length of time it took, its not exactly what we wanted but it looks great.
