B-DRY SYSTEM

When we originally moved in our home in 1987, the builder who was the owner's nephew installed a simple de-watering system in approximately less than 1/3 of the basement. We had repeated episodes of water in the basement and called Bdry and had them install around the current working system but not an area that ever had seepage. This was in 1999. We SHOULD HAVE had them just do the entire basement! I don't know what we were thinking at the time only that the existing system was working. Everything worked well and we had a little water last Spring and this Spring due to heavy rains and it was because of the old system, not the Bdry system.. We put our home on the market and the night before an open house, there was a deluge and the older system installed by the builder completely failed, flooding the basement. We had to cancel the open house and call Bdry. Dan, the owners son, came up with a solution for the Bdry system in case it was their product's failure. It wasn't. So we had Dave Russell, the Bdry owner come to give an estimate for tearing out the older system, installing the rest of the Bdry system throughout the basement joining up with their system installed in 1999. The warranty is fabulous as it lasts for the life of the house! We had potential buyers very interested but were concerned about the basement water issue. Dave personally took the time to come to the showing and explain to the potential buyers just what the system is and how the warranty works and did a very impressive job according to our real estate agent. Thanks to Dave Russell, Dan and the rest of the crew, last night we received news that the buyers had accepted our counter offer and the home is SOLD! Without the installation of this completed system and without Dan and crew and Dave taking the time out of his busy schedule to calm the buyers nerves, I do not think we would have had a sale. I cannot thank them enough! Great job and due to time constraints(moving truck coming to pack, load and leave July 14th!), Dave asked a crew to work on a Saturday for us. Amazing job. Again, thanks so much for saving the sale of our home!
