AJC Home Services, Inc.

AJC Home Services is a deceptive company with unethical business practices. They took a down payment from me of 50% of the cost of an outdoor home project, however, after realizing that my homeowners association (HOA) did not approve the project. I immediately informed AJC. I called the owner (Ben - who was also the person who took my down payment) within 24 hours of discussing the project with him. I did proceed to obtain the HOA approval of my project. They rejected it. I informed AJC Home Services and Ben and Katie refused to reimburse my down payment, even though they have not invested anything in the project and not even proposed the details of what is to be done. The pictures on their website are all stolen from other websites and businesses. They did not do the work that they advertise on their website! You cannot trust this company.

If you are looking for a contractor look no further than AJC Services I had a huge Maple tree in back of house and next to garage they came and gave us a good rate to take the tree down and grind the stump They did an awesome job and hard workers they cleaned the whole area and haul away everything including an old shed would hire them again without thinking twice They do great quality work and very professional Bob & Rita Hasty

Timely

I had major tree trimming that needed to be done. These were huge oak trees 40 to 60 feet high, probably more. They brought in heavy equipment and a bucket crane and a very experienced and very friendly crew. It was a huge job. They arrived on time and were highly efficient and artistic in how they cut these trees. The branches were very large and complicated to reach over the house. They did truly an extraordinary job. I was amazed at how well it looked and the quality of the work, They even swept the yard clean of all debris. I very highly recommend this company.

I've used 3 tree companies in my home ownership and AJC is best hands down. Prompt, quick detail oriented, and awesome clean up! They even had a thorny Honey Locust and the dogs amazing work and clean up against that beast. Highly recommend!

Employees doing work were great and in timely manner. Would recommend them to anyone.

They did not get all the tree roots. They was not done until after dark and we could not inspect the work until the next day.

The work was done efficiently and safely and clean up was excellent after stump grinding. The only negative was I was told 2 wks and it was 6 wks before the work was done. Looking back I was asking the owner of the business about when the work would be done and Katy in the office knew the schedule. Ben didn't. I like the invoice on my phone and like that I was told a few days ahead when work would be done.

Large tree and stump removed. Job completed in a timely manner, despite several weather delays. Site finished well.

Katie provided great customer service and Ben came right out gave me a go test price then got the job done asap! The crew was professional and worked together like a well oiled machine! Awesome experience!

My new home had four 85 ft tall trees branching over top of my entire house. I called the local tree experts for a quote; due to the closure of the Il hwy 17 Lacon bridge and as a non-commercial job I could not get a quote to remove the trees until I called AJC home services. I had no idea what type of service to expect. Ben, of AJC, quoted the job & promptly arrived on site. During the two days the team worked in high humidity 90° heat I was informed and consulted throughout the process by the most courteous crew. The trees were carefully removed and placed on the ground piece by piece. Nothing was damaged. They used mats under the boom truck to protect my lawn and they used a leaf blower to remove tihe sawdust from the roof of my house when done. Excellent five-star, world-class work. Iâ d recommend AJC to anyone, everyone.

They removed a giant cottonwood tree and trimmed a sweet gum tree for us. They did an excellent job. They were courteous, and preformed a ll we asked and knew what they were doing. Will call AJC again when needed.

We thoroughly would recommend this business to anyone needing trees or yard improvement. We just had 2 very large trees out of 3 removed and the men effortlessly maneuvered the machines in tight places and did so professionally and cleaned our yard when the job was done. I used their tree trimming service that was remarkable. Then I used their concrete service to build a very large patio and porch addition. This team was amazing. They were happy to answer my questions along the way. They gave suggestion and actually listened to mine. They were very professional and courteous. I would highly recommend this company.
