They supposedly unplugged drain one week, and it was clogged the week after. Upon calling them back to do the job correctly, they tried to charge a new service fee. Not only that, customer service lady was super vile and rude. Roto rooter guarantees free if called back in a month and they're cheaper and friendlier. I'll use them from here on out.

They were extremely reasonable. He was a pretty good. There was a cleanup valve here in the front yard and he went in there with his tools and his equipment and it went from the middle if the yard in the front and went out to the sewer line. He pulled out this humongous root. I had too many trees in the front here, I took those down too. After he got that part out, he went from the middle of the yard to the house line and he did that part too. There were a couple of small things there but nothing large. It was about $100. I've never had to have roto rooter before I don't know , ti think it was a good price compared to other plumbers I've had here. He was very responsive. They came over right at the time they said they would come. It took a couple of days to get him out here because he's extremely busy. People know around here that he's cheaper than other people. I would call this guy again if I had another clog. They were here when they said they were coming. He was a country boy. It was an extremely nice day even though it was November and we were talking away. He was doing his work while talking to me. I don't know if that's considered unprofessional or not. He was good. If i had another clog, yeah, That's all they do is open drains and they have all these different kinds of equipment that they can use, different sizes and stuff, depending on how big the clog is. Apparently it was clogged before I got here.

The back pressure was strong causing it to be more of a mess, but the gentlemen did a fine job. BTW I used them previously about 4 or 5 years ago and I was satisfied then as well, which is why I used them again. One thing that really impressed me was the lady taking the call - she seemed very responsive and sincere that they would get the job done to my satisfaction and they did! I called one afternoon late and they arrived the next afternoon as she said they would!

The first time they came out, the snake broke out a weak spot in an old corroded cast pipe so a plumber was called to fix that before they could continue. The second time they came out, they could not get the "clog" cleared after 1.5 hours. They thought there was a serious problem that would require new piping. The first visit cost $100 and the second cost $75. They definitely tried hard, stepping up in the level of routing machines, but did not seem to consider other approaches when the one approach was not working. A different company tried a different approach, with the benefit of hindsight, and cleaned the clog within an hour.

I was very pleased. It was good enough that I would call them again.
