A bit frustrating. They only wanted to put out glue boards. They weren't really thrilled with actually catching the critter. Finally Mr. Rat was stuck behind the dishwasher. I boxed in the kitchen, sealed off all of the escape routes, and told them they couldn't leave without our unwelcome guest. I had to instruct them how to catch the rat and provide the box, etc. to do so. Turns out neither of the people had ever caught a live varmint before, they had only removed dead ones.

They were literally in and out in about 5 minutes. There is no way they could have done the inspection that fast. And they never even opened our crawl space door (a full size door). We had to call and have them come back to inspect the ENTIRE basement and crawlspace. When we called they claimed they didn't know there was a crawl space. Really? That huge full sized wooden door in our small two-room near empty cellar type basement was hidden? Seriously? They were very nice when they came back after I threatened to stop using them after 9 years of hiring them to do our annual inspections. We will see how next year goes before making a final determination.

It was successful, haven't seen another ant since.
