Response from Bennett & Sons Tree Service
Based on our records,[Member's name removed] request was made last June 29, 2015. It was the time that we were in the middle of doing a lot of storm jobs. Peoria was hit by 3 or 4 storms in the last 3 weeks of June and we got a lot of emergency jobs then, working very early in the morning until late at night and even on weekends to finish said jobs. We worked for almost a month doing emergency/storm jobs. [Member's name removed] was also told that we would give her an estimate AS SOON AS WE ARE ABLE as we have to prioritize removing trees and/or big limbs that fell on houses, garages and/or cars that caused big damages. Hers is a request for an estimate for regular trimming. Our existing customers which we have are already scheduled to do their trees have been very understandable of the situation. Some who also request for estimate thru Angie's List that was also affected by the storm but with very little or no damage at all also understood that we needed to do first those that have incurred more damages. It's just this week that we are finally getting back on our regular schedule. In fact, we already saw some customers who had called us up during the storm/s week for an estimate for regular trimming or tree removal. Those calls were made ahead of[Member's name removed]. If the situation would have been different, we would have seen her sooner or if she was on the other customers' shoes who incurred big damages from the storm, we would have helped her ahead of those regular requests for tree trimming or removal.
