(Warning) Do not hire this guy. Do not give him cash. That is a big mistake. Lots of broken promises, no shows, full of cheap excuses. He tells so many tales, he can’t keep track anymore. Wonder what he spent my money on? Bullying people then scamming them is the way he does business.

Tony was on time, very courteous and diligent.

Called Tony at 8:30 a. m. On Saturday. Tony came out and was done by 1:30. It was a pleasure working with him. Highly recommend.

He did an excellent job of fixing my problem with my garage door. Knowledgeable and confident in what he was doing and I felt it was a fair price. He provided me with multiple options and clearly stated the price difference. There was some confusion with appointment time which required me to call him with some discussion. He did accomodate the original date agreed upon.. He worked efficiently and cleaned up any mess. He provided me with a warranty on the part. He was very pleasant. He also identified a loose or missing bolt and replaced that at no extra charge.

This is the worst experience I have ever had with a home repair service of any type. I needed a simple garage door extension spring replacement. Tony said he needed to order the parts, should only take a couple of days. Every day for 15 DAYS I called Tony, and his excuses became increasingly ridiculous. It was always "I'll be out there tomorrow to fix it, I promise. You know, you should put a new door up, I could do that for ya". There was nothing wrong with the door, only the spring; he just kept trying to push for the more expensive job. I finally told Tony this was completely unacceptable and that I would find someone else to replace the broken spring. I went with a different company, and not only did the new company laugh when I told them the many problems I had with Tony, they said that they weren't surprised...and apparently Tony goes all over town telling people that he is doing work that other companies are actually doing! He was also ordering the wrong parts for the door!! Tony is wildly incompetent, and I would not trust him for a second. He seems to have a very poor reputation with the legitimate repair companies. Contacting Tony's Garage Door Repair was a giant mistake and a huge waste of time.

Tony came by the day I called to look at the garage door and give me an estimate. He told me what was needed and how much it would cost. He said he could install the new spring and cables the next day. The part was late coming to him the next day, but he did call and kept me informed. By the time the part arrived it was late in the afternoon. Tony said he could still come but I decided to wait until the next day. The next day Tony came in the morning, installed the parts very quickly....less than an hour. He left the garage clean and took the broken part to dispose of it. The amount he quoted was the amount he charged. He was courteous and I would use his service again.

It went better than I thought it could possibly go. Tony worked in this awful weather, fixed my door, and fixed the problem I had been having with it. He was thorough, prompt, courteous, and efficient. He helped me out so much. Now all that is left of what was a big problem is a tiny dent which is almost unnoticeable.The door works like a charm.

Tony came in with a good price, but discovered that my springs were much larger than the springs he had in stock. He had to special order springs that were big enough. This was OK, but it took 5 days longer than he originally said, and kept saying "they will be in tomorrow" when, really, I don't think he knew. In the end he did get them installed, but I had to keep calling him to find out why he wasn't coming over (each day, pretty much). His work was good, he was thorough, just took a while. Improved communication would have gotten him an A!
