The Home Warranty Company contracted with Tazewell Plumbing to repair a gas leak at my parent's house. The person that did the scheduling was friendly and the person that did the work was prompt and friendly. His work seemed to fix the problem. Would use them again.

My home warranty sent Tazewell Plumbing out to check out my sump pump because I had standing water in my basement. By the time they actaully came to my house, 5 days after I called, I already had the water removed from my basement. They seemed confused about what a foot of standing water meant....I had to keep explaining to them over and over that even though you don't see it now it was here. They looked at the sump pump and toggled some things and told me nothing was wrong with it. They then went on to explain that I would have to sweep the water that was collecting in my basement again to the drain (on a regular basis) because my basement was not designed for it to flow in there correctly. I'm not knowledgeable about plumbing at all, but I knew this guy was even more clueless than me! I told him before he left that I was completely dissatisified that he was taking $60 of my money and resolved nothing. I then got a phone call later that day from his boss asking me if I wanted to spend $80 for them to come back out and look at everything in my basement. I of course said no way, I will call someone else!! I did call someone else who came out, found the issue with my sump pump, replaced it, and I have had no more problems with it. I certainly have not had to sweep water into my drain at all much less regularly!
