Description of Work: Marion came to my home on a Sunday afternoon to look at my basement problems. He provided a quote two days later.

Description of Work: The foundation had failed due to poor initial construction. We contacted several firms and P&M came out at the appointment time and looked carefully at the house. They made several observations and we discussed options for repairing our foundation. They also made recommendations for reducing the cost of the project. We chose P&M with the knowledge that his schedule put us out 2 months or so based on weather. They maintained contact during this time to let me know about the schedule. The construction involved removing the existing foundation walls and footings and replacing them. We had daily contact letting us know what the plan was for the day and extended schedule. The project had several issues that came up that were dealt with in a professional manner. There were 2 change orders that we could not see until the walls had been removed, I was quite pleased with the communication on these issues. Remodel jobs always have changes and P&M did an excellent job in these areas. At the end of the project they cleaned up the inside and exterior of the home to our satisfaction. |I would definitely use them again. |Thank you for a job well done. |

+ -1 moreGreat, we were initially told it would be later this fall before the work could be completed but due to a cancellation they were able to fit us right in. The work was top notch and made a noticeable difference in the house. The employees were professional, friendly and answered any questions we had. Mr. Townsend met with us before, during and after the work was complete. We would like to look at finishing the basement and waterproofing in the future and will definitely call them to do the work.

+ -1 moreI called to get an estimate and he responded to my voice mail contact within the same day. We set an appointment and he called before coming on the day agreed upon. In our conversation at that time he informed me that he would not be able to start my project until late September but was willing to come and give me an estimate. I declined his offer because I would really like to get the work done before fall. He was very professional and I appreciate his letting me know that he wasn't immediatly available. If I have occasion I would definitly call him again because I have a high level of trust as a result of his honesty about his availability.
Description of Work: I needed excavation of the basement wall in order to waterproof.

+ 1 moreMr. Townsend contacted me in a timely manner and adjusted his schedule to meet the tight time constraints we are under with our purchase contract. He examined the exterior and interior of the basement and went through exactly what would need to be done. He was a pleasure to work with and if we are able to reach an agreement on the home we will be contacting him to do the work.

+ 0 moreThey did everything with in the time frame they said with the exception of a few rainy days. They also replaced the sump pump and reconnected the sewer line. They also leveled the ground. They did all of the extra things even though they would not in the contract and wouldn't take no for an answer. They have been in business for 38+ years. They are great people to work with!
