It went great! We were very pleased with his services. He is very friendly to work with and we would highly recommend him.

I contacted and met with 4 area garage door professionals and thought all of them would do a great job, but Greg offered the door manufacturer that I wanted at the best price. He was also very easy to work with and responded promptly to e-mail and text. Rodney came to perform the actual installation, and he was right on time to get the job done and answered several of my "technical" questions that morning regarding the door and opener. I would certainly recommend Greg's to anyone that is looking for a new garage door or opener or just needs service done to an existing door.

Very good. The tech. came late in the afternoon and had to go back to the shop to get the proper weather strip and said he would be back the first thing in the morning. He did call to say that he had an emergency come up but would be there as soon as he was done w/ the emergency and he got there by 10:30 AM. Was very thorough.

Repairman showed up when he said he would and took care of the issue promptly. Very nice gentleman.

Same day service. Top quality products. Garage door opens great now. Nice installers. A+ I called Greg at 8:30am on Friday to replace my old worn down (1970s) garage door opener. Greg said he'd do his best to fit me in that same day if he could. My entire garage door system was screwed up. Either the prior owner or an inexperienced garage door tech located the torsion spring up by the opener instead of above the door where it's usually located. Greg called me at 3:30pm and said he would be there in 20 minutes. Greg and Joe showed up on time and promptly installed the new opener (not an easy task since it was a really tight fit in my 1930s garage). Then I asked him about the spring system since the system kept making a loud popping sound every time the door opened and the wires were running all the way from the bottom of the door up to the top of the door and then back to the opener and were rubbing on heating ducts and all other sorts of things. Despite the fact that it was no 5:00pm on Friday, Greg and Joe agreed to put a new torsion bar above the door and made a few modifications so that the spring would work in my small garage and not interfere with the safety sensors at the bottom. They finished up at 6:00pm on a Friday...that's top quality service right there. The garage door opens great now. Much quieter and smoother now. The installers were very qualified and very professional and nice. The price was very reasonable (be wary of garage door opener companies that are dirt cheap...you get what you pay for when it comes to roofing and garage door companies). Same day service....stayed and did extra work with a smile until 6:00pm on a Friday. I would recommend them to all my family and friends.

Called Greg who said they aren't actually open for business on Saturday. I said I was trapped and we couldn't even get the garage door up...he had pity on us and said he would try to find one of his guys. Greg called me back and said he had an employee who was able to come out, but it would be awhile because he was so far out. He showed up with a great friendly attitude and explained why it broke and told me how to get it open if it ever happened again (our 10-foot insulated garage door would require 3-5 people lifting at once depending on their strength). Great service and he even fixed my damage from last year. On a SATURDAY!

Fast response to initial inquiry and excellent service!

Dan was extremely pleasant and professional, neither one easy to accomplish on the bitter cold winter day we had in January. He was punctual, completed his job in about 30 minutes, spent another 5 minutes greasing and oiling all the moveable parts, even the ones he did not install. A professional job very well done. It was shortly after Dan left that I realized we had not spoken about the Angie's member discount. When I contacted Greg, he was sorry for the mix-up and told me to stop by his office the next business day and he would write me a check. Greg very easily could have told me that the bill he gave me already included the discount, but he did not. I admire his ethics and honesty and would never hesitate to use him again for any of my garage door needs. Thank you again Greg. Tom

I was very impressed with Greg and his two installers. Everything went great. The door and installation are better than what I expected. I still get a little excited when I have to open the garage door. Greg went out of his way and added additional panel bracing for the used "minor-damaged" panel. I purchased one of Greg's "scratch and dent" used doors. For a new door, the price will be higher. When I compared his new door prices to everyone else, he was in the lower middle. There was one lower and a few just a tad bit higher.

Messaged them through Angie's List in the afternoon, Greg called me later that same afternoon to set up appointment for his employee to come out first thing next day. I asked if they would call when they were on their way to give my wife time to get to the house, which they did. The worker arrived on time, looked at the door gave my wife the estimate, (which seemed a little high but they had an angies list coupon so that helped). Work was completed within an hour. Overall a good experience, I would call them again.

I called Greg's at 10am and was told he would call me back. He called me at 1am and I had a service man at my house by 2pm. Everyone was very curious and efficient. The product is very good quality. Would definitely use again.

I contacted Greg's Garage Door Service to have my automatic garage door opener repaired. I was given an appointment time for that Thursday and nobody ever showed up, nor did I receive any call. I admit that I never called to see what was going on. I figured that a company that does not keep their appointment and does not call with an explanation does not deserve my business.

Noticed one day that the end of one of my garage door tracks was hanging loose--obviously a bolt had worked its way loose, but I could not find it--did not want to use the door with the track unconnected. Called Greg--said he would have someone over within an hour--after a couple hours I called back--the person Greg was going to contact to come over had just left for the day, but Greg himself was on the way over--he arrived within 10 minutes, replaced the bolt, tested the door to make sure it was working correctly, and charged we just $20 due to the time delay (I believe his normal service charge is in the $50+ range). . .was very pleased with the service and the cost--will use them again.

Greg called on Friday to tell me that the new springs were in and he could install them that afternoon. As I had a close friend pass away and had to attend the visitation, he offered to come on Saturday. He came on time Saturday morning and installed the new springs and safety cables in case they should ever break again and lubricated the chain on the opener track. He did a very good job and the door works better than it ever has.

I never heard from this company on my request for quote from an online form requesting a call-back.

I called Greg from Angies List that day he was there to give me estimate and two days they were there to put my door and opener up. It was the quickes installation I have had done ever. Very good job.

Very pleased with the speed, tooling, technology and fast work. I had asked for the cable to be replaced and Daniel said they were in good condition and did not need replacing. HIghly recommend Greg's and suggest you ask for Daniel.

Greg, or whoever I communicated with didn't seem very professional. He wanted $45 to drive from Pekin to Peoria which I think the exact distance was 10.5 miles. Even with high gas prices that cost is not justified. Once he arrived, I was told it would be $65 to do an estimate. I opted to skip the estimate and just get a quote for a new opener install. His price was good and he was willing to do adjustments to the door and track for no additional cost. I almost decided to have him do the install until I was informed that he only takes cash or check. That was the definite deal breaker for me.

Greg came out immediately to give an estimate. When I called to order the set up appointment the business responded promptly. On the day of installation Greg arrived on time and in 90 minutes had successfully installed the new door, cleaned up the work area and hauled away the old door.
