TED'S FLOORING

I am so happy with the work Ted did! We had the second story wood floors and the stairway stained and refinished. He also installed new baseboard and a new banister, which I requested as an after thought once he started the job. He was flexible and wiling to do all the the work I requested. I was especially happy that he stained and polyurethaned the baseboard before he installed it (other contractors have done this after installation and it was awful!) he is a true professional and I would definitely use him again!

I was told the job would be one day in length, and cost $850.00. This was the owners Ted promise to me, which I should of got in writing. The job continued a second day and cost me an additional $450.00. Being told it was a longer job then they thought. They seemed to be deliberately working SLOWLY whenever I entered to view their progress. I even had on two occasions, to go and fetch supplies for them during this procedure. On numerous occasions, I contacted the owner by phone to have him return for repair work, which I told was free within the first year of installation. Ted kept delaying me with excuses, then when he finally committed to return on September 9, 2009, I waited for him to arrive, which naturally he never did. So with what I endured with this companys work practices, I file this complaint to spare any others of a similar, or possibly even worse experience.
