Sue James was recommended to us when we were looking for a realtor to help us find a home in the northern suburbs of Chicago in the summer of 2011. We would have used her to sell our home as well but we lived too far from where she is based. With the real estate market in the Chicago area being depressed at that time, we didn't know how long it would take to sell our house. But we started to look at houses to hone in on the right area for our family since we only had a general area in mind, not a specific suburb. Sue James helped us immensely though that process even though she knew we hadn't sold our home and it might take a while before we did. She never made us feel like we were taking up her time needlessly. Instead she gave generously of her time and knowledge over more than 2 years before we sold our home and we were able to buy another one. Not only is Sue a delightful person, but she is also extremely knowledgeable and experienced at what she does. When we looked through homes with Sue, she would point out many things I never would have noticed. When we needed help finding an attorney and inspector, Sue suggested several names. We hired people she recommended and they were both excellent. I realize "instinct" is a very hard thing to quantify, but Sue certainly has great instincts about real estate and the housing market. She guided us through the entire process with enthusiasm and expertise. Selling a home and finding the next home can be an extremely stressful process but working with Sue eased our stress considerably because every time I had a worry or problem, Sue had the solution. We just closed on our new home yesterday and that wouldn't have happened without Sue's help. My husband and I have hired other realtors over the years and Sue is by far the best one we have worked with. We are very grateful that Sue was recommended to us and we want to pass on our great experience to others. I couldn't recommend Sue more highly.
