Description of Work: Neighborhood Remodelers did a complete transformation of our bathroom from a 1920's vintage bathroom with tub to a contemporary bathroom with walk-in shower. We are so pleased with the results! The workmanship was of excellent quality, the workmen always arrived on time, and continued until the job was done. There was always good communication with the project manager David and ongoing consultation with the workmen.

Description of Work: NR did an outstanding job and were overall excellent to work with! This was our first major remodel; given the scope of our kitchen overhaul and extension, we knew we needed to contract. Our project started in late November 2014 and was completed in March 15 (there were a few weeks of no service during the holiday but that was built into the plan). Luke was really easy to work with as we laid out the job specs. Mick was our PM and he was fantastic to work with! Great guy. Very knowledgeable and responsive. We are so happy with our new kitchen and porch. We will definitely use NR again.

Description of Work: We recently went through a complete gut/reno of our entire main floor which included taking down two walls, closing up a door, building and entire new kitchen and adding in hardwood floors to ones that already existed. I've had a couple of bad experiences with some contractors as well as some good ones, but I interviewed over 10 different companies/contractors before I picked this one to make sure this will be ok. The communication throughout the projects was above and beyond my expectations. I always knew what had been done for the day as well as what was going to be worked on the following week. The project leader Mike Cooper was very personable, always willing to work with my requests, and if I ever needed anything, he immediately got it done. I was impressed with his mix of professionalism and friendliness. He was on top of everything!!! The head carpenter Marek did amazing work. He is talented and one if the hardest workers I know. Every cabinet, tile, or thing he touched was done so with craftsmanship and excellent quality. He showed up everyday at the same time and stayed until he finished his work for the day. He worked nonstop to the point I had to ask him if he ever eats!! The designer that came with this job was fabulous to work with. She gave great advice which was what we needed since we didn't have a plan for the layout of the kitchen. Neighborhood remodelers has their entire act put together. From the day we first met with Luke, then the team if people working on our project, to the very last day if our inspections, I'm am so impressed with this company and their work. I've already had 2 people ask for their name after seeing my new kitchen and main floor remodel. I highly recommend this company !!

Description of Work: Met with Luke for an estimate for remodeling our basement. It was an excellent experience as Luke is very professional. Unfortunately, the estimate was over our budget, so we weren't able to use them. It was a very hard decision to make. But we will definitely try to use them when we redo our kitchen.

Description of Work: Completely dismantled and removed old (1942) kitchen walls, cabinets, window, etc. Installed appropriate electrical to accommodate refrigerator, microwave, additional outlets and lights. Installed cabinets, countertop, exhaust fan, flooring and sink/faucets. Provided cosmetics such as painting, trim and door stops and threshholds. The daily schedule was timely and the entire project finished on time as promised. Every week I was updated on the progress and the next stage of work to begin. The quoted price was exact, there was no "nickel and dimeing", or extra for that that or the other. I enjoyed working with them and would definitely used them again.

Description of Work: Gut renovation of kitchen and laundry with some movement of hvac, plumbing and electrical; refinish wood floors on all of first floor, installed cabinets (not included in cost above), tile, appliances (not in cost) etc. All of the construction & licensed professionals were always on time, were willing to work late as needed and were very nice. We bought the cabinets through NR as well and Jill, who manages the cabinet purchase, was great - patient, great suggestions and responded quickly with every inquiry. Very quality work overall - there is nothing I would change or fix.

Description of Work: We had a bathroom remodeled which included raising up a sunken tub and redoing the walls. Neighborhood Remodelers were extremely professional and their project foreman, Marek, was very knowledgeable and did wonderful work. We are very happy with the results.

Description of Work: Gave an estimate for two bathroom remodels. Very detailed folder with information. Still a possible company to call once I am able to go ahead with the job.

Description of Work: They remodeled my bedroom, bathroom, and laundry room. It was a pretty extensive remodeling project in my opinion, and it went GREAT. They came up with the design which gave me exactly what I wanted. The workers showed up on time EVERY DAY, and they kept to the schedule that I was given. They cleaned up after themselves every day, too -- the work area was always clean and organized. They were very careful to keep construction dust out of the rest of my house. They also responded to my emails right away, every time, and were always available by phone. It was finished on time, and the only unexpected costs were when I added things that weren't part of the original estimate. It's now about a year and a half since they did the work, and everything is still perfect. I have no complaints at all with this company, and I'd definitely use them again.

Description of Work: NR replaced tile with wood in our foyer, hall and powder room. Very professional, quick to respond, and the quality was great. The new wood aligns with some existing and they matched it perfectly. We get lots of compliments! Would definitely use them again.
