They went above and beyond throughout the project to minimize inconvenience while renovating an entire condo with someone still living inside.

The price was right, the work was great, and the responsiveness was even better. The work that we did was expand and take space from a utility to make a small bedroom into a nice size bedroom with a walk-in closet. The team was creative, resourceful (we found tile that we had originally used and was existing to save money) and were responsive to small changes (size of walk in closet). Great work, and worked with existing built to save us on costs. We can't wait to save on our next project to expand our main floor and will definitely be using Neighborhood Remodelers. Our project was on time and within the original quoted budget. ON time, Within Scope, and within Budget. I would say A+++ is in order.

I could not have been more pleased with the work and the outcome. The two workers showed up on time every day, were courteous and efficient. They were very professional and did an absolutely outstanding job. I think the project manager could have done a bit better communicating when an issue arose, but other than that, he too, was terrific. The quality of the workmanship is superior. I will definitely use NR again for my next home project.

Hiring Neighborhood Remodelers was the best decision we made for remodeling the first floor of our home. This was our first home improvement project with NR. It was very important that we pick the right contractor who is not only able to do a complete remodel of our bathroom but incorporate a smooth flow by replacing carpet and linoleum with tile and wood flooring through the rest of our first-floor. Their team has the finest skills, and is also professional, friendly, attentive and HONEST! They had a solution for every challenge we had as the project progressed and were great with communicating issues and finding solutions so the project could proceed in a timely manner. Project Manager Mike came in quite often to review the project, was very courteous and prompt returning calls and providing updates. Robert and John who were involved from start to end of project were impeccable in everything they did! They went above and beyond with their attention to detail, moved large furniture, removed and re-used some of the fine woodwork (crown moldings etc). NR’s vendors and suppliers have great respect for them and work seamlessly with their teams. The fact that NR allows us to get supplies from any other vendor if needed provided great flexibility. Zachary picked up and dropped off supplies effortlessly on such a timely basis! The glass shower work done by Marko and his team was perfect. Billing and Statements handled by Samantha and Kerin continuously kept us fully informed of all cost and/or credits to the project as it moved forward. NR is truly a unique family operation where every person cares! Now that the project is done on time and the furniture is back in place we look at the interior of our home and get an opportunity to admire their work everyday. We will be recommending NR to any of our friends who need an excellent remodeling team.

The process was very smooth, professional and trustworthy from start to finish -- from arranging the initial visit to discuss design options and estimates to the coordination of the work schedules and to the final completion of the project. The project manager was very responsive to questions and problem solving situations that would arise throughout the whole process. Each of the tradesmen was very clean, courteous, professional and respectful. They were also very accommodating with their work schedules for our special needs child in order to provide a positive experience for him, as well. Overall, we were extremely happy with Neighborhood Remodelers and highly recommend their services. We would definitely hire again for any future projects.

The Neighborhood Remodelers team was great to work with. From initial quote to design to completion, the process was smooth and painless. They have awesome professionals working at every stage. They did a complete gut kitchen rehab in our 103 year old house. The quality of the work is outstanding - they did a lot of custom millwork to match the existing original trim. We couldn't be happier with our new kitchen. The craftsmen were all nice and professional and Abbey, the project manager, provided great communication and helped us throughout the process. The project came in pretty much on time as well even though we added on some projects not in the initial proposal.

I couldn't have been happier with my experience with Neighborhood Remodelers. They worked very clean, covered all the floors, and put up zippered plastic barriers. The same team came every day, and the project manager was in constant contact regarding progress. They demolished everything down to the lathe, installed new plumbing, a new window, and a new bathtub. Everything looks beautiful, especially the tiling (ceramic subway on the walls; marble hex on the floors). I am very happy with the end results, and am looking forward to hiring them to do my kitchen next!

Overall we are pleased with the process, communications and outcome. The bathroom looks stunning. If I had to nit pick, I would say the tile work could of been straighter as I can tell where tiles are uneven and our threshold for the shower is slightly crooked. Also we used Banner Plumbing at their suggestion and we aren’t happy with the expensive fixtures but it’s not NR’s problem although they did try to help correct our concerns. Overall we absolutely love our bathroom and new closet! We also love the flooring work they did as it matched our hardwood floors perfectly!

Our kitchen remodel went very well. We are very pleased with our new space. The communication from the designer, project manager, and construction crew was fantastic and timely.

From start to finish, the process was seamless. NR has their own designer Jill on staff and she was an AMAZING help to us! My kitchen looks so gorgeous because of her! Mike the Project Manager was available to us at all hours of the day (and night) and he was incredibly professional and kept me completely informed at all times. Arthur the foreman is so skilled and he does absolutely beautiful work. And the rest of the workers were professional, courteous and respectful, clean, and prompt. Honestly I can't believe how easy this was. I've never been so happy about a project in my home. My kitchen is BEAUTIFUL....I can hardly believe it is mine! I will be using NR again for all future projects. I chose them in large part because of their fabulous online reviews. You can believe them - these guys REALLY ARE that good!

We were very pleased with Neighborhood Remodelers! We tend to be detail-oriented people so we met with a lot of contractors (we got 7 estimates for the project). Neighborhood Remodelers was the middle in terms of price but we felt that they were definitely at the top in terms of quality and professionalism. Luke met with us and provided us with a comprehensive estimate. He included many details that other companies omitted such as potential permit fees and a variety of options. (Note, we had to be careful when comparing estimates because we found that many other companies don't include such a comprehensive list which means there would be unexpected expensive with some of those other companies that we met with!) Luke talked with us about what we wanted so that he could provide accurate allowances for things like appliances, fixtures, and counters. We met with Jill to design the kitchen and she was great. She drew up a bunch of different designs and then made adjustments based on our ideas. She was always willing to fine-tune the designs and was a pleasure to work with. We are very pleased with the cabinets and the overall design of the kitchen (we took out a couple of walls so there was considerable re-design work!). Our project craftsman was Peter and he was wonderful. He is very detail oriented and did incredible work. He did all of the work except a few things like refinishing the flooring and installing the counters. It was nice to have the same person here all of the time because we could really trust him and he knew our schedules. Neighborhood Remodelers sends very regular communication including weekly updates. The people in the office were wonderful and sent a weekly update regarding how much we spent and how close we were to the budget. They also provided us with clear information regarding when payments were due. They were very professional and our final expenses were exactly on budget! During the project a couple of minor issues came up and we felt like Luke was very responsive and professional. They took care of any issues promptly. A couple of months after we finished the project, because of normal settling, there was a crack in the new drywall. Peter came back out right away to repair the crack and touch up the paint. They have a one year guarantee and we are already pleased with how quickly they respond to any issues after the work is completed. We would definitely use Neighborhood Remodelers for any future project.

I’m late in getting this review in but we were so pleased with the work that Neighborhood Remodelers did for us. Starting with Luke the service was excellent. David was our project coordinator and he was always responsive, helpful and accommodating even when we changed things up on him. We are so happy with the finished product and they work they did. Highly recommend!

I had an older bathroom remodeled (approx. 8' x 5'). The previous owners had tiled the bathroom floor to ceiling. I had it demo'd to the studs and replaced every single thing except the bathroom window. Excellent experience from beginning to end with this company. From the estimate and demo, through job completion, the estimator, project manager and the crew were great to work with. Estimate came quickly and with references, job was completed quicker than the projected timeline. The best part was the crew. They were on time and cleaned up every day including tenting and using filtration for dry wall. They had a strong attention to detail and made recommendations along the way, for things I hadn't considered. At no time did they complain, they were always pleasant, and I felt comfortable having them in my home. Very happy with the end result. I would definitely recommend them, and hope to use them for future projects.

A job well done! From start to finish everything was thoroughly discussed, the guys showed up on time every day and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. We would definitely hire lLuke and crew again.

Every project will have snafus and challenges. I judge servicepeople not only on their work, but on how well they deal with challenges. Neighborhood Remodelers had few challenges in our job, and those that arose were quickly resolved to our complete satisfaction, including one regarding who paid for what for a certain part of the job. Their team was onsite and working when they said they would be, and the job was finished on time even with some 'additional challenges' that necessitated extra work - we discovered that we had to completely replace a floor about a month into the process, for reasons unrelated to Neighborhood's work. Their design team is excellent and responsive. Their project manager was good and available when needed. Their onsite construction manager was amazing, and his team were excellent. The work quality was better than we expected - and we expected a lot. For example, I expected them to install replacement radiators. I did not expect the level of finish on the installed radiators - trim, caulk, painting - at a level I have not seen before. It was the attention to small details like this that added a level of quality that we had not expected. The header they installed, which was supposed to hang down because my house is 100 years old and structurally rather odd, ended up being completely concealed in the ceiling thanks to some ingenious engineering by the onsite team - and completely 100% code compliant (see photos). I was on hand for EVERY code inspection by my town, and they are thorough, and there were zero findings requiring remediation. They got it right the first time, every time. Are there minor items I was not thrilled with? After 90 days of living in our new kitchen, only one, and that was my fault for not pointing it out when the walls were open. For those of you who hire them, if they make a suggestion or recommendation, even if it adds to the price, listen to them - they know what they are doing. I would gladly hire them again, and plan on doing so.

Outstanding! Neighborhood is a great company to work with. We have a small bathroom footprints and needed to make the most of the space. The transformation was incredible.including moving the toilet, putting in a pocket door, installing marble tiles over chimney stack and creating an amazing rain shower! The project was well managed, moved at a reasonable pace and the quality was outstanding! This was our second project with Neighborhood and we will use them again for our next project.

Another excellent job by Neighborhood Remodelers! This was the second time we hired them (they did such a great job on our kitchen gut & remodel we hired them to do our bathroom!). Abbey was our project manager - she was terrific! Very responsive and she kept the whole project on track! Sebastian was our main contractor - yes, he works for NR - and he did an excellent job down to the smallest details! A truly custom transforming our bathroom! (We have a small bungalow with a standard bath. We did a full gut and slightly reconfigure the utilities to maximize the space!) We sourced most of the materials ourselves and were able to use the NR vendor discount for our tile. The office team was again great to work with. They communicated regularly and were very responsive. Luke and his team at NR are terrific! They are our go-to remodelers and highly recommend giving them a call.

Absolutely excellent work and partnership! This was our first major renovation and Neighborhood Remodelers (NR) were the perfect partners! Our project was a complete kitchen gut and remodel. We have an older bungalow so a good portion of our budget was allocated to structural and core needs like plumbing and electric. We had to reinforce a sinking mud room and put in a new foundation. We purchased our cabinets and accessories through retails and we were able to take advantage of some NR preferred vendor discounts on things like tile. The project manager (Mick) was super responsive and on top of things. The crew was very professional, punctual and thoughtful - and they did excellent work / quality craftsmanship. The office team was organized and communicated regularly. Working with NR was so great, we hired them again to our bathroom!

This is our fourth job with Neighborhood Remodelers. I don't even request quotes from other companies at this point, that's how much trust we have with Luke, Mike, and the rest of the team. Full rehabs are no picnic, especially when you're moved out of your kitchen for 3 months, but when you work with a company that values communication, honesty, and hard work, it makes the experience so much better. Our house is 130 years old. That means that there is no end to the surprises when you open up the walls. You need a contractor that not only can roll with the punches, but also has the expertise to handle difficult challenges and can offer elegant solutions. Ours was not a cookie cutter project, and we threw a lot of unique and difficult elements into the mix, but NR handled each crazy idea with a chuckle and a "roll up of the sleeves" attitude. The result is AMAZING. And Better Homes and Gardens apparently agrees, featuring our kitchen on the latest cover of their magazine. We couldn't be happier, and we look forward to tackling future projects with this great company.

This is a late review but NR did our kitchen/bathroom/playroom remodel three years ago and we were so happy we went with them. We were new homeowners and pretty unsure of the process. They were very easy to work with, organized and clear communicators. The work was done on time and on budget. We have loved our remodel every day since it was done. We've heard so many horror stories about contractors from friends and neighbors. This could not be further from our experience with NR. We had some issues a year after the remodel (they guarantee everything for a year) and they came out and fixed within a few days. That's pretty incredible service a year after the job!! Our only issue is that the undercounter lights stopped working pretty much exactly a year after they were placed and we've had a lot of trouble trying to get them fixed. But that is a small issue considering it was a pretty big job. We recommend NR all the time to friends and family and would definitely use them again if we have work within their scope.

This is our third home improvement project with Neighborhood Remodelers, and there is a reason we keep coming back to them--they are the complete package. Professional, friendly, attentive, skilled, and HONEST! They are consistently excellent at providing advice and options to fit our budget, they offer keen insight on potential challenges and accurately diagnose those inevitable hidden surprises/problems, offering solutions and adapting plans in a timely manner. Their combination of wonderful project management, design, and incredible craftsmanship has made such a difference in our home. We look forward to our next opportunity to work with this amazing team!

Luke the project salesman was personable and engaged in listening to my plans for renovation and provided a detailed estimate in a timely fashion. Mike the project manager kept things moving along in an organized and efficient manner, checking in at the house each morning with the workman and addressing any questions and concerns that I had along the way. Mike also emailed me at least once a week with progress reports and planning information leading up to the project and for the duration of the project until the project was completed. Jan and Robert did great work with efficiency and superb attention to detail…great esthetic results and a great job overall. They were punctual at 7:30 AM every day. They also addressed my questions and concerns as the project progressed. The work site was cleaned up nicely at the end of each work day. Also, the fabrication and installation of the custom vanity top and the sanding/varnishing/polyurethane treatment of the stair treads by appropriate subcontractors worked out very well…very nice.

Luke and his team are excellent. The team includes a project manager who communicated with us regularly and took care of any details and proactively solved any issues to minimize any delays (including going to Home Depot and making necessary exchanges even on materials we bought ourselves). The workmanship on our bathrooms is high quality, and completed by experienced professionals. Most importantly, they diligently met the committed timelines and communicated any changes needed or issues. The prices was competitive and fair, and they were flexible with my design ideas and my sourcing of materials. After having a few bad experiences with other contractors, the team at Neighborhood set a new standard. The results are beautiful and exactly what I wanted. I will not use anyone else for my future projects.

As someone who has worked in construction for most of his life, I would say that the two most annoying things that a Contractor can do is A. Not respond to your communications (emails, phone calls) and, B. Not show up on time or when scheduled. Neighborhood Remodelers is silly-professional. Luke and company showed up on time for the initial meeting which is often atypical for other contractors. They checked the conditions of the house and provided a quote a few days later. Upon acceptance, they started the work. Mike communicated with me at every step and we knew exactly when workers would be in the house (and they showed up as promised). The tradesmen were all very polite, respected the parts of our property that were not under construction and did a great job of daily clean-up. Finally, the quality of the actual work was amazing (I have personally never seen plumbing work done so professionally). I cannot stress how pleased my wife and I are with the quality of service that we received from NR. They rose above all of the cynicism that I had about contractors and convinced me that it is possible to do construction on your house without it being a nightmare (forgot to mention that we are living in our 2nd floor while we rebuild the 1st floor). Neighborhood Remodelers provides the perfect balance of experience, trade talent, integrity and value.
