Description of Work: They remodeled my bedroom, bathroom, and laundry room. It was a pretty extensive remodeling project in my opinion, and it went GREAT. They came up with the design which gave me exactly what I wanted. The workers showed up on time EVERY DAY, and they kept to the schedule that I was given. They cleaned up after themselves every day, too -- the work area was always clean and organized. They were very careful to keep construction dust out of the rest of my house. They also responded to my emails right away, every time, and were always available by phone. It was finished on time, and the only unexpected costs were when I added things that weren't part of the original estimate. It's now about a year and a half since they did the work, and everything is still perfect. I have no complaints at all with this company, and I'd definitely use them again.

Description of Work: We needed to remodel our first floor powder room. With three kids, a pedestal sink and no storage just wasn't cutting it. |Not a big job, but excellent attention to detail. When the new toilet had a smaller footprint than the previous one, they spent extra effort making sure that the wood floor stain matched well. |I would definitely hire them again.

Description of Work: Total gut and remodel of 1925 brick bungalow bathroom. They elimated all plaster, insullated, put in all new blue board and durock. Beautiful tile work all new sink, tub, and toilet. All new fixtures. Beautiful work by Wesley snd Derek. Seamless coordination by Mick and his team. Thank you.

Description of Work: Please excuse my delay in doing this review. Work involved a partial remodel of the basement including installing can lights insulation and drywall to the ceiling, and building a short wall, and prepping it for painting. Worker was excellent, arrived on time, did a great job and cleaned up when done. I would definitely use them in the future.

Description of Work: Remodeled master bath. Gutted room, removed bath, built shower, tiled and installed fixtures. Everything went very smooth, they did a beautiful job, although it did take a little longer then originally expected. When a plumbing issue arose that was going to cost me extra, they apologized for the extra costs.

Description of Work: I found Neighborhood Remodelers on Angie's List, very nice reviews. I filled out their "contact us" form via their website to have them look at a bathroom and 3 story staircase remodel. It has been over 2 month's and no contact has been made.

Description of Work: My wife and I wanted to remodel our townhouse's kitchen and full bathroom. We got quotes from three providers, Neighborhood Remodelers (NR) included. NR was not the cheapest of the three, but we liked their ideas and how they had a team of experts, including an in-house cabinet designer, available to help us pick the right style we wanted. We worked with Luke on the initial quotation and he organized his team of experts to give us a custom design taking into account the current home and what my wife and I wanted to do. We liked working with Luke, so we went with NR for the job. We also gave them a deadline for just over a month, as we had a wedding reception set for a Saturday and we had family from out of town coming and wanted the remodeling done before they came. They said by doing both rooms at once, they could have one team come in and it saved time as well as money. We knew this could be difficult, but they said they could do it and they delivered right on time. One thing we would do differently is, while it's great that NR can source all materials through them so you can have all of the payments go to them (simplifying the accounting), I would go out and purchase the items independently (we ended up doing a mix of paying NR and direct with the stores). NR doesn't require sourcing through them, just an option they offer. They have agreements with Abt Electronics for appliances and deals with other stores for tile, flooring, etc. which gave us great discounts without having to haggle with anyone. Because we told them we would source everything through NR at the onset, however, it took some phone calls to make sure their payment schedule reflected what we had purchased ourselves. This was a minor hassle that can be fixed next time; I don't blame them for it. I got updates via phone and email and knew there was someone who I could reach out to with questions during the entire process. Our kitchen and bathroom both are awesome and we're much happier with our home as a result. I've already recommended NR to a work friend and she's going to have them remodel their master bathroom. I'd recommend them for any of your home's remodeling needs and would use them again in the future on our next home too.

Description of Work: The company got all the permits and transformed a screened veranda into a four seasons room. I think the work was very good and I especially appreciated how they followed through with the loose ends that still needed to be done after the work had been completed (and after we had paid). We had a misunderstanding about what insulation to use which entailed ripping out some of the insulation they had begun to put in. We had a heated exchange about that issue, but in the end, they put in the insulation we wanted and even apologized! I was really impressed with this company and their exemplary work ethic.

Description of Work: I had hired Neighborhood Remodler's in April of 2011 to do a significant amount of work including a gut rehab of a bathroom, painting the whole interior of the house and many other small miscellaneous home repairs. They included a one year warranty on their work. This April 2012 we called them back to make some small, mostly cosmetic repairs under warranty. There was no hassling or negotiating. They came back out the next week and spent the day working on the small repairs at no charge. They stand by their work and always have been responsive! This is a very good company who does things the right way!

Description of Work: We completely gut-remodeled our 1,000 square foot family room, master bath and bedroom space. We called Luke of Neighborhood Remodelers after speaking with many other contractors and not finding a good fit. We found them on Angie's List, they responded immediately and we received a very competitive quote combined with a firm grasp of the vision of our project. This quote included everything- there were no hidden expenses here. They started on time, they finished on time- with the crew showing up everyday at or before 7 a.m. The communication was impeccable. Our team was professional and attentive to every detail. We would strongly recommend Neighborhood Remodelers and would use them again should the need arise.

Description of Work: I used Neighborhood Remodelers for a gut remodel of an attic/master suite. It was stripped down to nothing. It was reconfigured for a better flow and a bathroom was moved to a different area. It was definitely a higher end bathroom. They also did a new roof and new insulation.

Description of Work: I spoke with Sam about getting a ballpark estimate on a home addition. She was polite and courteous. Unfortunately, we never got an estimate. Our first scheduled appointment was canceled because the contractor's back went out. Sam then canceled 5 days later when she left a message 3 hours before our meeting saying that the contractor would not be able to get to me on time. She said she wanted to schedule for the coming weekend but would understand if I was no longer interested. I'm not.
