The work they did was excellent ! We tried to do the caulking ourselves years ago , and it looked terrible. General Masonry came out and removed the old caulk and tar along the bricks , and caulked around my house. They also repaired cracks in my driveway , and tuckpointed an area on the garage. The job was done beautifully. They are professional , prompt , friendly , and go above and beyond for their customers. If you need any masonry work, this is the company to call. I hired them to replace bricks on my house , and the work they did was perfect , so I hired them to do more work on my house. Already a repeat customer !!

Jan was very professional and did excellent work on my house. Jan & his crew fixed the bricks around the back of my house that had deteriorated over the 30 years I’ve lived here. The bricks were a mess and Jan/crew removed the bad bricks , replaced with new bricks making sure to match the existing bricks. The finished product was better than I everimagined. They also cleaned up as they worked , and left everything perfect. I was very impressed with their skill, professionalism , and friendliness. I feel fortunate to have found this company , and would highly recommend them to anyone needing masonry work.

Janek and his colleague did a fantastic job repairing our backyard stairs. This is the second time they worked on something for us and both times their work was well done, clean and efficient. I would highly recommend both of them to anybody that needs masonry work done.

I want to commend this company. In the midst of a replacement window project, I realized that my builder had completely messed up the masonry and lintel beam over windows. These guys came in, removed bricks and limestone over two large windows, replaced the lintel beam and replaced the bricks and limestone so it looked better than when they started. Top notch work; cleaned up everything. Highly recommend.

Jan responded the same day with and estimate. He arrived on time on the day he said he would perform the work and completed the work in a timely manner. The work performed was excellent and everything was cleaned up when they were finished. They even tuckpointed a few spots that were not in the contract. My chimney was falling apart, Literally. Bricks were falling out already, just the whole thing was a mess. I requested a quote from GMR and Jan got in touch with me really quickly, came out the following day to take a look and give me a quote. I accepted and we scheduled it. Came on time and work was done quickly and before the cold! They thing a fantastic job and im glad i went with Jan and his partner Peter, very efficient guys. They got down to business and didn't waste a minute of work. Great communication, super friendly guys and very courteous. GMR will be my number 1 recommendation to anyone including friends and family.

Jan came to the house to look over the work needed and gave me two quotes. He promised to send me a confirming email. This was not done. In spite of that I then left a message to go ahead with the lower cost option. I never heard from him again.

They were not the low bidder however when Peter came out to do the estimate, it was clear they were more detailed in their explanation and his pride in his work was obvious.
