I had already ordered the parts based on Googling the issue. Turned out I was right and they installed and made some recommendations for future upkeep as well. Reasonably priced.

Jake and Dave were fantastic. They were very dependable and pushed the tins lag as much as possible without sacrificing quality. They started on time and on budget and were a pleasure to work with.

TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED! NEVER WILL I HIRE THIS COMPANY WHO ATTEMPTED TO TAKE ADVANTAGE! I purchased a voucher through Angies List from Davies Home Services in order to remove a garbage disposal. The voucher was for 1 hour of handyman service for $60. My garbage disposal went bad and wanted it removed. I originally hired a plumber from Angies List to remove and install my current one which took under an hour to complete the job last year. I even went so far as to time the installation and watched the entire process. Therefore, I was fully aware as to the amount of time it would take to just remove a garbage disposal. However, I was in total shock when Davies Home Services informed me it would take up to 4 hours! 4 hours to remove a garbage disposal, are you kidding me? In addition, they want dot charge additional money for the extra hours. They even went so far as to justify the amount of time claiming its better to over estimate. Talk about taking advantage of the customer, which is totally unacceptable especially in this economy. How unprofessional can one be as to claim that much time for a removal of a garbage disposal and making it seem it was such a major job! In reality, its not! I immediately emailed them and informed them of their inaccurate time estimate and canceled the job! I can only imagine if I had wanted a light bulb installed they would've claimed it takes 2 hours! Thats the kind of company your dealing. I even asked them to call and contact me originally, which they did not! All interaction took place via email, which is very unsettling! I mean come on, what ever happened to quality customer service that one can't even pick up the telephone to call and talk to a potential customer. Was it so hard to ask for? Either way, they dropped the ball and lost my business FOREVER!

Tom was punctual and did a good job in my bathrooms,he utilized his time wisely and I would recommend him.

They were fabulous. I would I use them again in the future.

Added flooring space in attic and fixed attic stairs which another handyman previously installed incorrectly.

The results are beautiful on the work that was done, but we received an incomplete and late estimate on additional work we had requested in the beginning. We ended up going with another contractor to complete the work in a timely manner.

icWe were very disappointed in this contractor. We chose him because he was local and had strong family ties to the community. He came to our home to talk about a major home renovation project. Took measurements for a window we wanted to install and said he would be in touch. This was the last we heard from him. Has ignored calls from both my husband and myself. Would definitely NOT refer him due to this. Not returning calls is major poor business practice.

They were recommended by a friend. They gave me a price for everything which was very reasonable. They moved items out of the way. I had gotten a new tub and when his people came to hook it up the tub leaked where it was joined to the pipes. They called him and he said he'd have to have a plumber come in. I asked him if it would cost me anything more and he said no and it didn't which I thought was very nice, too. I also talked to him about my steps that are in bad shape, other people try to talk me into ripping them out and he said it wasn't necessary and he could just patch them. He kept me informed all the time via email. He said not to bother putting up new paneling or anything. He was very good about not trying to sell me anything. He had the bricks blasted and said it was the new look, he also said the modern look is to just paint the ceiling and pipe plus it would be cheaper for me. I thought the price was very reasonable, it was about 5 days of work.

We hired Dave's Home services after interviewing a few other contractors to help us insulate and dry wall our living room and dining room. Of everyone we interviewed Dave was the only one who would give us an itemized list and pricing of what we wanted to do. They started work a week earlier then they said they could (which was great!). When we got a quote on time he said it would only take 4 days to do all the work and it ended up taking almost 3 weeks. We changed our mind about the wood work a few days before they were going to instal it, they worked with us to help us find something we liked better and also offered some cost cutting ways for us to help out. Close to the end of their time working with us our basement flooded and Dave helped us clean it and also brought in a sub contractor to replace our furnace and hot water heater the next day. I would use them again and recommend them to others!

They showed to review the project on time. We review everytihng we wanted done. He told me he would get back to with an estimate. After waiting a week I called back and left a message asking for the estimate but they never called back. No response at all.

He does everything, plumbing, painting...etc He's a one man band. He is clear and precise with his estimates, it is always written out; I like that. Excellent work, very neat...I highly recommend!!!

Davies Home Service scheduled time for an estimated very promptly and Mr. Davies arrived on time. He provided an extremely detailed proposal. One of the best ones I received for the work I wanted completed. It did take him about 2 2 weeks to complete and mail the proposal, but I was very clear on the work he said he would perform. The price was about double his nearest competitor. I believe he would have done an excellent job, but price became the barrier.

I was very pleased with Davies. Dave Davies came to provide an estimate. He was prompt, professional and had several good suggestions on how to approach the project. His workers were hard working, efficient, polite and helpful. Quality was top notch. We are now going to use them again for another project in our house.

POLITE , NEAT AND THEY DONT WASTE TIME.

THEY WERE VERY GOOD, RELIABLE ABOUT COMING WHEN THEY WERE SUPPOSE TO COME AND THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES.
