I purchased a Big Deal coupon for a painter for the day back on 7/30/12 to have my front porch painted before winter. After repeated attempts to schedule a date we were unable to get one scheduled before it became too cold to paint. Diana Cavaliere was completely unprofessional, not returning calls, or calling back when promised. When she did retunrn calls, or I was able to contact her she continued to give me poor excuses as to why the could not come out. I am going to continue to hound them in the spring once the weather gets warmer, as I still want the work completed. My experience with them up to this point has been LOUSY!

I appreciated the work the painters did for me. In retrospect, there were benefits to both approaches: getting as much done as possible, and getting it done with 2-coats. Do be clear on your own objectives. getting as much done as possible with 1 coat vs concentrating on a single space with 2 coats Both painters worked quickly, carefully and reasonably well at the same time that they were responding to my desire to get as much done as possible. The only thing that I wasn't keen on was the hourly cost of completing the remaining work. I don't like the idea of an open ended commitment.. I would suggest asking for an estimate which Diane, the owner, graciously provided.

Diana and husband Tony make a great team and run a very great company. My wife and I had been unable to make a decision on the color and "feel" in our condo to make it feel more like home since the walls were a minty green color throughout which didn't reflect our personality and furniture choices. Diana was easy to get a hold of and came with her expertise to ease my wives mind by the free consultation/estimate on colors, shades and feel of the final spaces. She was great and her eye for detail and design made our decision very easy to hire. The work was done on time, on budget and her husband and other painter even offered to come back and re-touch some areas due to our loft layout with hard to reach wall space due to exposed beams, pipes etc. After the touch ups the space looks amazing and we couldn't be happier.

It was a nightmare. The gentleman who came said the job would take longer than 4 hours. Coincidentally, I had just used another Angie's Deal the week before (painting 2 bedrooms) and I had asked that painter about fixing the powder room; he said it would take no more than 2 hours. Also, while Creative Walls was here, I had a handyman remodeling a bathroom and I asked him--he also said no more than 2 hours. I explained this to the gentleman and he proceeded with the work. After 4 hours, he said he needed more time; and I was shocked to see that the room looked much, much worse than when he started: there we thick globs of plaster on the walls, floor, toilet, light fixture, and door frame. It looked like a six-year-old had been turned loose in the room. I asked him to leave and contacted Angie's List, who issued me a refund of my $99. I took photos of the mess and ended up having to pay my handyman 3 hours to fix it (note that even after this vendor had made the walls much worse, it still didn't take more than 3 hours to fix it). I have purchased numerous Deals of the Day; and other than one vendor who never showed up, I have had very positive experiences. I appreciated getting a refund of this Deal, but I still don't understand how this vendor can try to rip people off like this.

Went well except for issue mentioned above.

So far concerned that they are not responsive. Thing may change when they actually come to do the work.

They came in and started painting, then started to tell me how it would take several days to finish the job. I informed them I wouldn't spend that kind of money to paint these four or five cabinets. I also told them this will only be a one day job. They did finish in one day but they seemed more interested in extending the job out.

The scheduling was accomodating to my schedule. The work was done by two painters that had different skills but worked well together. The job I requested was done very well and there was extra time for them to complete an additional space. I would use them again.

I had an excellent experience with Creative Walls & Spaces -- from the person on the phone who was accommodating for my challenging schedule, to the two painters who arrived on time and did got everything completed as I needed.

. BECAUSE OF THE LOW PRICE, I DIDN'T EXPECT QUALITY WORK. I THOUGHT I'D GET COLLEGE GUYS WITH MINIMAL EXPERIENCE(BUT I NEEDED THE JOB DONE QUICK). WAS I SURPRISED BY THE GREAT JOB THEY DID. REALLY SCRAPED TO THE BARE WOOD THEN PRIMED. THEY DID A SUPER PROFESSIONAL PAINT JOB AND CLEANED UP SO I HAD TO DO NO FOLLOW UP. NO PAINT ANYWHERE EXCEPT WHERE IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE . DEALING WITH DIANA WAS A BREEZE---COURTEOUS, RESPONSIVE AND WILLING TO WORK WITH YOUR SCHEDULE.EVERYTHING YOU'D WANT FROM A SERVICE COMPANY.

Everything was fantastic. The process was done in stages as time was needed between coats. After the background painting, Diana did the stippling over two days. The outcome is better than we could have hoped for. The room looks wonderful and my daughter is very pleased with the result. The reason we continue to use Diana and Creative Walls and Spaces is because of the neatness and professionalism of their work. I would highly recommend them.

The only part that was difficult was booking the job. The owner implied that she wanted more hours to make this more profitable for the company. I understand but that was the offer.

Overall we were happy with the work and the owner was very nice and was responsive to concerns we had about an additional cost that came up at the end. Unfortunately, she was also disorganized, unresponsive at first, and had difficultly incorporating the Angie's List big deal into a quote for a larger project. There was confusion between her and her painters in terms of what was quoted and what they actually did. In the end we got what we needed but not without some difficulty.

We found this company to be very customer-focused. A representative visited us before the actual painting and provided us with very helpful suggestions on the paint type and color that we needed for our total main floor ceiling project. They confirmed the appointment the night before, and showed up punctually. While painting our ceiling, they pointed out a few cracks that we didn't know about and took care of those as well. They were scrupulous about protecting our furniture and floors and most importantly to us, our pets. They actually finished early. After examining our ceiling, we were very pleased -- not even the smallest complaint. We will definitely use this company again for future painting needs.

There was a delay before we heard back from anyone after our first call but after that, Diana was wonderful in helping us pick colors that look great. The painters were fast and did good quality work. They also cleaned up after themselves when they finished which was much appreciated.

We got off to a bit of a rocky start trying to schedule time to have Diana come in and advise us on colors (on more than one occasion we had a mismatch between the scheduled time and the time Diana actually arrived). But once we were able to resolve the schedule Diana's advice and eye for color were invaluable. We went with very bright bold colors throughout the house and she offered several ideas on how to use the color with the available light. When the actual work began the crew was punctual, professional, and had great attention to detail. The end result looks fantastic, and I am very pleased.

The price was good but the quality was lower than I expected. I didn’t expect perfection, but I hoped it would be better.

Creative Walls were prompt, fixed it thoroughly and did it within the time frame They even estimated another job for me for a very reasonable price. I would use this company again and I recommend them.

Diana called me back promptly to schedule my painting and put my fears to rest. The painters were very professional. I was impressed with the fact that one of the painters was willing to screen some of my old 5 gal. pail paint (and mixed the white to make sure it was the same throughout) to supplement the 5 gallons of new paint that I had purchased so we wouldn't run out - I actually had paint left over which is good for touchups. The painters were attentive, asked questions, very fast, patching was good, coverage good. All of this was done in a friendly and cooperative manner which is refreshing. I was very happy with the results and will definitely use this company again. I did not have them paint all the ceilings, just the bathroom which really needed it; I wanted to let them get as much done as possible in a day because the work was done in a rental unit. I would definitely use this company again, they are professional and easy to work with.

The two guys arrived on time. I went over the tasks that had to be done and the supplies I had purchased for each job. I let them divide up the work, and I went and got some additional supplies that they needed. I bought the paint, some primer, caulk, some roller covers and some drop cloths. They worked hard from 8-4, with a short break for lunch. They completed all the work I needed done. They did it in a competent, neat way. I had no complaints and would use them again.

Had a Big Deal coupon which I was a little late on. Called and emailed company; very quick response and great flexibility on setting up date and time to completely match my schedule. Friendly andprofessional both on the phone and on premise. Arrived on time; took less time than I anticipated which freed up some time for me. Will use this firm again for similar work as well as painting...

I bought the deal, had to call several times to set it up. When they came it went as planned and I hired them for extra work. Would have like more of the decorating service to help more with color selection as that part seemed rushed. Overall the job got done well.

The 2 gentlemen were on time. Very comfortable having them in my home.

Communications with the lady who owns the company was horrendous, She doesn't respond to phone calls nor emails.After we were finally able to schedule an appointment, 2 painters arrived for an outside painting job. However, although I communicated the type of job to the owner by email, she apparently did not instruct her painters, as they arrived without a ladder.One pinter went back to retrieve a ladder and cam back after 4 hours and we were still charged for these hours. As the job wasn't finished the painters suggested to ask her to provide us with an estimate to finish the job. Couple of days later she contacted us to finish the job ( max 2-3 hours of work) for $1000,-.I ended up finishing the job myself and it took me 2 hours.Although the painters she sent were nice guys and helpful, I would not use them again Total scam
