Overall, they did an ok job. It was much better than I would have done, but not the high quality I expect from professionals. They missed a few spots, but they did leave the paint so I can go back and re-paint the missed spots. I felt like the painters were in a hurry to leave and got a bit sloppy. For example, they weren't supposed to paint the window sills. They did anyway, which was fine, but they didn't even remove the hardware that holds up the curtains - they did a fairly sloppy job of painting around/over it. One thing of note: Our contract said nothing about cleanup and they did not clean up. I made an assumption that clean up would be included, but it was not and this is something that I will remember the next time I hire a contractor. I was left to vacuum and dust, remove the tape, and use a razor to scrape paint spray off of our floors, counters, and cabinets. One thing that they did very well was prep, patch and sand prior to the painting. My once-holy and shoddily-patched walls are for the most part pretty smooth now. Overall, their work looks pretty good until you look closely. Diane was very nice and had great color recommendations, but I don't think I'd hire this company again.

It went very well. They were polite, responsive and I felt comfortable having them in my home. My place looks great.

We really enjoyed working with them - start to finish. Diana visited our home within a couple of days of contacting her. During our initial meeting she was interested in what we were thinking about and did a walk-thru. We had her written proposal within 48 hours - very detailed, room-by-room plus estimated materials. She also prepared large color samples we could attached to walls in various areas to see how each would look under different conditions. Her recommendations were spot on. We even added an accent wall in our master bedroom, something my wife and I hadn't thought of. Once we agreed on colors, Diana scheduled the crew, head by her husband, Tony, to start the next week. Tony and the other two members of the team arrived right on time each day. They were a delight to have in our house and they worked hard. What was originally scheduled as a five day job was completed within three. Guess it helped that we keep the coffee and donuts flowing! My wife and I appreciated the early completion as we've been living out of boxes after having new carpet installed a couple of weeks earlier. Our home looks terrific. It always surprises me what a difference new paint can make.

Diana of Creative Walls was professional, and she gave serious inputs in terms of color and sheen selection. She was good at followup visits while the work was going on. Her crew was timely, clean and tidy, and they cleaned up after themselves.

Diana gave me a detailed, room-by-room quote within 48 hrs of my contacting her. She came over to help with color selection and later brought in poster boards with the colors of my choice so I could see what the colors would looked like on the walls. I made some changes and painting started within a couple of days. The painters did a great job. They were polite, efficient, professional, knew what they were doing and cheerfully re-painted a couple of walls (at no charge) when I didnt like the colors. The covers over most of the switches/plugs were removed before painting - those that were not, I requested be removed and repainted which they did. They made sure no splatters got on to the carpet even though they knew it was going to be changed after they finished painting. They cleaned up after themselves each evening and put the furniture back in place so that I would not be too inconvenienced over the evenings and the weekend. They showed up on time and finished the particular part of the "job" they were working on before leaving for the day. All brushes, paint trays, drop cloths, etc. were neatly put away before they left in the evenings. When repainting the office area, they made a special effort to cover up the computers, peripherals, files, etc. I especially appreciated them greeting and spending a moment with my dogs as they came in each morning and making sure the doors remained properly closed so that my "escape artists" had no opportunity to to take off - especially when I was not home to watch them myself. Looking back on it, the entire job went much more smoothly than I anticipated.

The painters were very courteous and professional. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. They were easy to work with and respectful of our home. Thanks to them!

They did such a good job. I was out of town and I came back and found they did such a good job. The wall paper looks magical. They came when they said they would and did a great job. They totally cleaned up everything.

Diana consulted on color choices and her selections were right on with results better than I could have ever expected. She visited our home three times with sample boards -- service above and beyond. Tony and Vito arrived on time every day and worked incredibly hard, with attention to detail that resulted in a beautiful transformation to our home. They even fixed cracks that weren't in the scope of the original contract (for instance, in my daughter's bedroom, there was some separation in the door frames and they fixed those). The fixes made to the previously damaged walls were truly amazing -- you can't tell they were ever damaged. I cannot say enough positive things about Diana, Tony and Vito. From start to finish, what a wonderful experience.

This was a wonderful experience. Diana had great color suggestions, (she really knows her colors!!) with large samples prepared so I could get a feel for color in my rooms. The painters were prompt, professional, and cheerful to my children. The colors look wonderful in my home--I feel like I am coming home to my sanctuary every night. A painter forgot to put an electric switch plate back, but Diana promptly corrected this, and even repainted a wall (I liked another color better) to compensate for my minor inconvenience of having to have someone return to replace the switch plate.

I had a mixed experience with them. They were very highly rated and they did a great job at selecting the colors, but the quality of the execution of the work was not what I had expected. They did come back and fix the problem areas, but it was not a wholly great experience.

The walls were already repaired and primed. Diana was very helpful in assisting with colors and faux finishes. When I didn't like the first samples, she made more until I decided on one. Diana and Tony were able to accommodate a tight schedule and finished in one day. They even helped put my furniture back in the room and reassembled the bed. They were a pleasure to work with.

We were very pleased with the quality of the work that Creative Walls and Spaces did. We also LOVE our new color choices. Diana has a great talent for picking the right colors for your particular situation. The painters came in and finished in 1 1/2 days from start to finish. It would have taken me a week or longer to do it myself. They did an excellent job. The fact that she had some initial difficulties in scheduling us into their rotation was a great testament to how busy and GOOD that this company really is. Great job!

We called to set a time for an estimate and Diana was very responsive and set a date. The estimate was extremely user friendly - she priced each room separately so we understood the costs. We did receive 3 estimates and felt Creative Walls & Spaces was the best value. Diana was instrumental in helping us select colors for each room. Our house was built in 1929 and we recently underwent a renovation. The color selections were perfect and worked well with our furniture. Tony and his crew did a fantastic job. We were very pleased with their work and professionalism. We had a couple of small items that needed to be addressed after the job was complete and they made sure to reach out to us to set a time to get these few touch ups complete. We have more work that needs to be done in our basement and we will definitely call Diana and Tony when we are ready to do this project.

Diana did a great job helping me pick neutral paint colors so that our house would show and sell easily. I am very happy with how it came out. Because of the size of the job, the household was disrupted for over a week but all the painters were pleasant and professional about being in our space. This is the first time I was using a painting company so I'm not certain how my experience compares to others. They did an excellent job on the exterior of the garage which was in very poor condition. As for the interior work, I was generally pleased with the work done by two of the painters but there were a few things that were less than perfect. The third painter started to rush things toward the end of the job and did a less than adequate job covering things and preventing splatters of paint from hitting the floor and other items. There was a number of splatters that had to be cleaned off afterwords. I also recommend that you keep an eye on what colors are being used where as there was a bit of confusion about colors in the bedrooms and the white being used for the trim. It's just good to be all on the same page. Read the contract carefully to make certain that details are accurate. I don't know what is customary, but they were inconsistent about removing wall plates and replacing them. They took some of them down, painted around some in place, and replaced a few of the ones they took down. Also two light fixtures were partially disassembled and not replaced at the end of the work. These were minor annoyances that were easily fixed. They were very happy to come and do some touch up work on areas where spots had missed their second coat of paint [it was a large job and some small areas were over looked]. Overall the project came out fine. Again, I'm very happy with the color selection Diana and I made. I'm certain that the house will show well when we put it on the market.

Diana Austin Cavaliere, who owns the company with her husband, Tony Cavaliere, sent a terrific itemized bid for the work. That's what sold me on their company. Before the painting began, Diana spent lots of time with me at the house choosing colors, looking at samples (which she paints on poster board). This was extremely helpful, as I am not good with colors and couldn't have done as good a job choosing colors on my own. We ended up with a great palette for what were once very drab walls. Then Tony arrived with his painting crew of three. Tony is a great guy--extremely willing to do whatever you want. I found it was necessary, however, to explain--after they had "finished" with the first room they painted--MY standard for a great paint job. Tony was totally fine with this. I marked everything I wanted fixed/redone, primarily prep, and Tony & his guys went back and did what needed to be done. After we established my standards for the work, things went more smoothly. I also went through the entire house once they were done and marked everything that still needed attention. Tony came back with his crew and took care of all of the items completely willingly (it was a full day's work). He has a great attitude and aims to please. In retrospect, I think I made it clear to Diana when she came to do the bid that I would be "picky" about the paint job, but I should have also spelled this out to Tony himself, so we were on the same page before he started his work.

We were new to the area and needed to get a lot of work done in our home. We called Diana due to the reputation she and her company had on Angie's. She came out to our home, listened to what we needed and got to work suggesting color combination that worked for our situation. Once those were established, Tony and the guys showed up a week or so later and got right to work. We are very happy with the work that was done and would use them again.

I was very happy with the work of Creative Walls and Spaces. Diana was great in helping me with color selection and listening to what I wanted my condo to look like when done. The colors are fabulous, and I was very happy with the results. I love coming home now! The painting was completed professionally and the few touch-ups that I needed were completed satisfactorily and at my convenience. The painting job took a bit longer than expected but the reasons were explained to me (no fault of theirs or mine - humidity!), and all the finishing touches were done with my schedule in mind. I would definitely use Creative Walls and Spaces again.

Overall they did an excellent job. Tony and his crew were all very friendly, polite, always on time and a pleasure to have in my home. Diana is very professional, helpful and responsive. I will definitely hire them again and highly recommend this company to anyone looking for painting.

Overall, we were extremely pleased with the service. Diana has a true talent for recommending color choices. Her husband, Tony, was on-site for much of the painting process, was extremely professional, and detail-oriented. They were very honest and saved me money by suggesting touch-ups in certain areas rather than repainting several walls--and I have to say that the touch-ups blend in unnoticeably! The service was efficient and clean-up was excellent. They were able to accommodate us on the two-day window that we chose. My only complaint is that I found several of their painting staff to be less professional, and got a very angry response from one of them when I suggested areas of imperfections. This may have been complicated by a possible language barrier issue on the part of this staff member. However, Tony was extremely accommodating with our requests, and was very conscientious in making sure we were highly satisfied with the final results, which of course we are!

There is no better team to work with. Diana and her team are a four man (and woman) show. They are involved in every detail of the job and they are always on site. Having them perform work on our home was a joy since they respected the fact that this was our house and we were living in it while the work was being completed. Diana's team was responsive to last minute changes and adjustments that were made while work was already in progress. It is no exaggeration to say that they really wanted us to be happy with the end product, even if it meant more work for them. There is a reason that Tony and Diana book-out far in advance. They want to be sure that they take the time to get to know their clients personally. This is probably the most important aspect of working with them and that which sets them apart from the competition. In all honestly, there should be a completely separate category for their quality and level of work. One final thing worth noting is that we have a one year old son who was constantly exploring the house while they were working. Tony and his team made sure that everything was always safely out of his reach. This even applied to nightly clean-ups where extra care was taken to ensure that their tools and paint would not pose a threat to our sons wandering ways.

I had a totally wonderful experience with this company. I wish I had found them earlier in my life as a homeowner. I can say from experience that they are the rare company that is honest and high quality. Diana and Tony were prompt about returning my calls, scheduling the work, completing the work and answering any questions that I had. During the course of the job all my questions/concerns were responded to in a friendly and professional manner. The crew came when they said they would come and they did a wonderful job. Although it was not part of the job they quoted and should've been done by my contractor, Tony filled the nail holes on my wooden banister spindles numerous times until they were flush with the surface of the wood and we were satisfied. He must've made 3 extra trips to my house just to get my banister spindles perfect! They painted over 1,100 square feet of basement and he kept coming back until I was happy with the spindles! That pride in their work is a real benefit to customers. Diana and Tony were always available before, during and after the job for questions. Their quote wasn't the lowest we received but it was very fair and worth every penny. I was so happy with the paint job in the basement that I asked Tony to look at the peeling floor in my screen porch. Not only did he look at it, he went under the porch (through a small service door) to look at the bottom of the boards so that he would know what he was dealing with when trying to fix the problem. I'm going to have them come back next month to fix that floor and to do other touch-up painting in my kitchen and hallway. I am so confident in their honesty/fairness that I'm not even going to ask for a quote for the kitchen work. I'm going to ask them to do it while they are here for the porch and then tell me what it costs. I know they will charge me a fair price and the work will be excellent. They are even giving me advice about the next phase of my basement project. They really go above and beyond the call of duty. It's obvious that they like working with their customers. If you want a company that will treat you with respect, take your job seriously, be professional and friendly and do excellent work you should hire Creative Walls & Spaces. They really stand out from the rest.

Part of the exterior was painted, door shutters and some window frames. I have a screened in porch, the cement floor was patched and painted. The hall way was painted upstairs and down. The exterior schedule went well until the weather became difficult. It took a long time for the painters to come back because of having to reschedule projects before me. My main complaint would be scheduling. The painters did a suburb job!

Diana was great, she was very personable and helpful in selecting colors for our space. She had some creative ideas and pointed us to colors that we might not have gone with otherwise, the one in the kitchen in particular is fantastic and really lights up the space. The painting project itself took a bit longer than expected, and unfortunately for us, Tony and Diana weren't there to oversee the work (we would have waited but at the time we thought that we needed the job done quickly to accommodate furniture installation that was planned). There were some quality issues with the project: uneven paint coverage, some drops on the floor and on the vertical blinds, uneven corners and some paint on the baseboards. When we told Diana what had happened she was SO apologetic and had Tony come back out right away to fix the problems. We are much happier with the cleaned up project and have asked Diana and Tony to talk to us about painting several other spaces in our home.
