Owners and worker were very professional and responsive. Ms. Austin-Cavaliere had a good sense of color and was helpful in choosing an appropriate color for the setting.

The project went smoothly and we were very happy with the color selection. We asked them to do some touch up work which they had no problem doing. Diana worked around our schedule.

Diana visited my home several times to choose colors. I really appreciated this aspect of her company's service as I found the prospect of choosing colors that would compliment one another very overwhelming. As other reviews have noted, once you select the colors you are fairly sure you will go with, Diana provides you large posters painted in those colors so that you get a good sense of what things will look like once painted. Diana's husband, Tony, and two other employees did the painting and patching job. All told, it took them 4 days to complete the job, which was consistent with the original estimate Diana provided. Each day, they arrived exactly at the time they said they would, were very professional and did a good job of cleaning up after the day's job was done. The first patching job in the living room didn't take, so Tony promptly re-did the work. Also, we decided to redo what color went on what wall in the living room, so the guys came out an extra day to address this. Overall, Tony and the team were responsive to my comments and questions throughout the process. I am so very pleased with the results, not just the quality of the work but the colors especially. Diana's prices were fair and competitive, and the final price did not exceed her original price quote. She also provides an Angie's List discount.

My husband and I used this company to paint our own condo four years ago (and wrote a great review then), and are still happy with paint colors and quality, so I, in my role on our condo association board, asked Diana for a bid on this project. We also had two other painting companies bid on the job, both of which likely had more commercial experience?one company priced the job similarly to Creative Walls & Spaces, the other for about half the cost. Our property manager gave me some perspective on that pricing when he told me ours was ?a two-day building,? done quickly. By contrast, Tony and two other painters took six days to complete the job, and the overall high quality of the painting reflects their care, expertise, and time commitment. We feel the end-product was well worth the time, and price. They managed to please several owners with very different style perspectives, and we received a number of compliments both about the quality of the painting (our property manager was even impressed) and about the surprising ease of having the painters working around our homes for several days. Everyone from Creative Walls & Spaces was courteous, pleasant, and attentive; they stored their materials in a corner of our garage and cleaned up their work areas every day. They even replaced all the plastic corner guards in the upstairs hallways, something that we as the board never really considered or specified as necessary. There were a few small touch-ups required (for example, the top of a door frame remained the awful pink we were replacing), and Tony came out very quickly to make all the repairs. Everything looks great!

Absolute perfection ! Very precise attention to detail. Diana's advice in the selection of colors was invaluable. She prepared large panels painted in the various colors we were considering in order that we could live with the colors for a period of time in various light conditions. She also provided great advice concerning where to shop for rugs and furniture that would look good in our family room. The work was done as per the contract, on time in a very professional manner. The faux application on the fireplace was not what we expected when the paint dryed. Diana painted several additional painted panels for us to look at, she made several trips back to apply additional faux treatments until we were 100% satisfied with the look. Tony repaired trim around the base of the fierplace which was not part of the contract at no additional cost even though we offered to pay for the additional service. It was a pleasure working with Diana and Tony and their crew. We are already planning our next painting projects and will certainly use Creative Walls and Spaces.

Overall, it was a great experience. They are wonderful! I have used them for several things over the years. I would certainly use them again.

The main reason to use this company is Diana, the proprietor. Quite simply, Diana has a gift when it comes to picking excellent color combinations for various rooms. She'll do one wall with a certain color, and then the surrounding walls with something else. At first, you might be hesitant, but it all comes together and works perfectly. Diana's consultation concerning color choices is priceless. Overall, the painting itself is done well. As with any painting job, though, it's important to look it over carefully and determine whether a few touch ups are needed. They were in this case. All I had to do was an e-mail listing the follow-up items, and they were done promptly, and professionally. Diana and her husband Tony (who leads the painting) are definitely interested in your satisfaction. The bottom line is that unless you are gifted when it comes to color selection, it's extremely helpful to have someone who has that gift propose options from which you can select.

Diana & her team were great! They were ready to schedule far quicker than I expected. They did a great job (and I'm REALLY anal). They removed the walpaper and painted our laundry room (walls & trim). They even patched the hole the doorknob made in the wall! Washer & dryer were put back correctly. The best part of the service was Diana's help in selecting a color. I plan on having them paint our master bedroom & bathroom next.

Diana was extremely helpful in selecting colors, including accent walls in the kitchen, master BR, and another bedroom. She gave us time to consider her estimate and the colors she suggested. She was flexible when we asked for changes to the scope of work as well. She always returned our calls, and the painters worked efficiently. They were very neat, courteous, professional, and answered our questions. They got the job done within the time they estimated it would take, and our new home looks great!

It was a nice experience in every way. They showed up on time, they were nice and polite. They did an excellent job cleaning up. Dianna came out to help us select colors and she was so wonderful, she helped me get exactly what I wanted. I did not have one complaint. They were good with our dog as well. I will be having them out to do more work in the fall.

This is my second time working with Diana and Tony (and their crew). I had availed their services when I'd moved in to my condo 3+ years ago and was extremely happy with their work - I did not bother doing a contractor search the second time round. We had a 3rd bedroom constructed out of our existing dining room and so had some additional walls put up that needed to be painted. I am 9 mos pregnant and as you can imagine, I wasn't as easy to deal with. I changed the scope of the work a couple of times and Diana was very understanding about the whole process. I also had some initial feedback on the quote, and she was more than willing to talk me through it. I have given a B for price but I would put it more in the B+/A- category if there was one (cannot stress how worth the money is for the creativity, professionalism, and guaranteed customer satisfaction). Additionally, when Diana came out on her consultation visit, she also pointed out some items on the newly constructed walls that my husband and I would not have caught (we consequently had our other contractors come out and fix everything). I previously had a faux done in the living room (by Diana), however, with the new walls put up, it needed to be extended. The newly painted faux was slightly darker than the original one (and I had absolutely loved the initial one). When I called Diana a couple of days later to let her know, she immediately said she would come out and re-do it. They had to repaint the entire wall again, and re-do the faux, which was re-doing almost a full day's work (they worked from 9a - 2:30p to repaint and refinish the job) - now if that isn't customer service, I'm not sure what is! I had initially asked her to paint a nursery for us, but changed my mind and decided to put it off for a month or so. I will definitely be going back to her to have that done. Tony and Diana are so very professional and friendly - it is just a pleasure to work with them. My mum who is in town for my delivery couldn't stop praising them as well - and you know when your mum has a good word for someone, then it definitely is true!.

The overall experience was very positive, from scoping the project to delivery. Diana eased my "I live in a world of beige colors" anxiety by leading us through the color selections. Tony and the painting crew were all prompt each of the 4 days on the job, something I am not accustomed to with other contractors, that service level makes all the difference. I am very pleased and satisfied with the end results, the colors pop, the professionalisim and service level of the organization. I plan on calling them again next year for future projects.

Very nice job. Diana manages the schedule, estimating and billing. Her husband, Tony, is the primary painter. Both are incredibly professional and a pleasure to work with. I had them start on this kitchen the year before, but it was too late in the season to leave the windows open to dry so we agreed they'd come back in 2009 to finish the job. Then I delayed in lining them up until a warm spell in November. Diana managed to slip us into their schedule so that we could ge tthe work done before the cold weather set in. Tony spent a lot of time prepping our windows and beadboard correctly so that the paint would go on well, and not chip. Diana managed the estimating/billing promptly. My only tiny complaint is that they could be more careful about not letting paint drops get where they're not supposed to be. It's not a big deal as these are just random, small drops, but I do find them from time to time on our floors. That said, I'll definitely use them again.

The painters arrived on time. They worked all day without stopping. They did an excellent job of filling holes left by the plumbers. The house is really spruced up.

I was very pleaseed wtih every aspect of the service. Diana made great color suggestions, and provided poster-sized swatches of paint color that I could tape to my walls and evaluate in both daylight and evening before settling on the colors I wanted. Painters were right on time, very professional, cleaned up completely when they were done, and finished the whole job in less than three days. I plan to use them again soon for painting my remaining rooms.

I had an average experience with them. I said that I want to get the painting done on the wall behind the refrigerator and they said that they don't need to paint that wall. I will not use them because they had mentioned in their quote that we have to remove all furniture for them to paint, but we don't have place to move these furniture.

Diana made every effort to start the job as soon as possible, and her crew saw to it that it was finished in short time. Her crew was very professional and neat.

Overall good job, Some nail holes left undone on some window frames. Good follow up. They emailed and asked if everything was ok. I was going out of town so I did not report above issue with window frame. I'm sure they would have adressed it if I had reported it.

This is the second time we worked with Creative Walls and Spaces. The first job included our entire first floor (living room, dining room, sun room, kitchen, two bathrooms and two story entryway). They did such a terrific job we used them for this job. Diana met with us to select the colors, coordinating with the look of the first floor. We selected a total of 3 colors. This is a real benefit in working with Creative Walls. Diana has a real eye for color and is able to assist in the selection process. Tony and his crew completed the job in 3 days. The crew showed up daily on time and did a terrific job. The finished basement now looks like a family room vs. a basement. The color choices were perfect giving the area a warm inviting look. We highly recommend working with this company.

Excellent. These were the most professional painters I have ever worked with. They were thorough, extraordinarily neat, and very responsive. Diana is a master at selecting colors and coordinating accent walls. She made a believer out of this skeptic. They finished in the projected time frame. I will definately use them again.

Excellent work. This is the first time I worked with this company and I am very pleased. Diana helped with color selection and brought sample boards for review. Much easier to visualize with the larger samples. Tony and crew arrived on time and did an outstanding job. Finished quickly with no mess and no fuss. It looks even better than I expected. I will strongly recommend them to friends and family.

We really liked Diana when we were getting quotes for the job because she clearly had a vision for the space - something that we did not have! Even though she was adding more assistance with color suggestions, her quote was very competitive! She suggested using a few shades of green to add depth to the space. She also suggested doing a bold plum in in the powder room. After we hired her, she brought painted poster boards of the colors we chose so that we could move them around throughout the day to get an idea of what the pain colors will look like. We were a little apprehensive, but we trusted Diana. She was right - the place looks terrific! We are very happy with the outcome!

Excellent. The owner, Diane, came out TWICE to help me pick paints. (She had to come the second time because I bought different bed linens then I thought I would. Even though she was leaving for Italy the next morning, and had already visited once, she was very gracious about coming again.) I let her guide me in my choice of paint colors, and am VERY VERY pleased with her selections. She convinced me to do much different colors in my master bedroom (including an accent wall) than I would have risked on my own. Even my husband, who is a white-wall kind of guy, really likes the results. Normally her husband paints with the crew, but he was on vacation during the week we painted. (I insisted on these dates--I am sure Diane would have preferred to have her husband there on the job.) The crew (a father and son) were good, although there were a few, minor, hitches. They underestimated the time it would take to repair my walls, which was ok, as I had planned to be topsy-turvy for a week so the extra day didn't bother me. But if I hadn't been prepared that could have been a problem. At the end of the job they were (it seemed) in a hurry to get out, and left off my light switch plates. But they did leave me their phone number to call if needed. I could have called them but decided not to, because to me, it wasn't a big deal. They did work hard to keep the area clean, but to be fair, repairing and painting plaster creates a lot of dust. Again, I was prepared for this and had planned to do a thorough cleaning as I put the rooms back together. Overall I was very very pleased with this company. Their bid was higher than others we received, but I felt that the additional advice I got from Diane was a worth the extra money. I really am pleased with the results--it's really changed my rooms!

This is the second time that I have worked with this company. They are wonderful. I have recently purchased a new home and needed assistance with color selection throughout. Diana's eye for color was invaluable. Together we worked out a coler palette that flows throughout the whole house. Tony and the crew arrived on time each day and worked diligently throughout the project. Their attention to detail was amazing. There were issues that they noticed and took care of without any additional charge. They cleaned up the space they were working on daily. At the end of the project we walked through the house together to make sure that I was happy with everything. I have never worked with such a wonderful company before. I strongly recommend them to all of my friends and family.

Below is a factual account of our experience with CWS. On the positive side, the initial conversations were good. They were helpful with the color selection and maintained a professional demeanor throughout the scheduling process. The real issues started once the work begun. 1. Proper care was not taken to protect several A/V wires run throughout the walls. The work crew was provided a range in which to not place screws and that simply wasn?t followed. Tony was willing to accept responsibility and agreed to remove the panel to insure the cables were not damaged. The company then attempted to bill me extra for this work even though this was clearly extra work they brought upon themselves. 2. Their workers helped themselves to a tool in my garage without our consent. My expectation is that they should arrive on a job site with the tools necessary to complete the job or at a minimum ask the homeowner before handling any of their belongings. 3. There are several minor to major imperfections in the quality of the work provided. a. There are several seams that are clearly visible throughout the room. Some are so bad that the mesh is showing. b. There are several large gaps around the windows because the drywall was not cut in a straight line. c. All of the holes around the outlets were cut so poorly that I was forced to use oversized plates to insure complete coverage. 4. I was unable to express these concerns to them on the phone because they hung up on me. Something tells me this is not the customer service that has provided them with the positive reviews on Angie?s List. Diana last words before she hung up were ?have a nice life?. I feel strongly that my expectations are well within reason. I am also aware that many of the negative reviews left on Angie?s List are a direct result of customers with unrealistic expectations. I have also attached several pictures to support my claims against the quality of their workmanship. Based on their unsatisfactory workmanship and their poor customer service I would not recommend their services to friends and family. This entire situation could have been avoided if I had carefully read all of their reviews on Angie?s List.
