In the beginning, it was difficult to get a hold of Diana probably because of the volume of Angie list coupons, but after a few phone calls, we were able to touch base. Since this was outside work, we were subjected to it being too hot to work outside (95+ days) or rain. The project was not completed before we moved so I did not give a grade for the work, however, the prep work (scraping & priming) was very good. I gave a B for Responsiveness & Punctuality only because we had so many "I'll Be there on Friday" and then the night before would get cancelled due to weather. Not all their fault and Diana tried to let us know as quickly as possible. I only wish they were able to make up the appointment a couple of days later instead of week later.

She has been largely unresponsive on he phone and when we have talked, she has been very dismissive. I asked for basic information about how she cleans up after she does the work and she just said that she can spend her Big Deal time doing work or cleaning up. I said that if she will not give me any basic information on her clean up, maybe I should get a refund. She replied that maybe I should, so I have done so.

I was very pleased with my color consultation. I recently closed on a new home but had not yet moved our belongings in because we wanted to paint and refinish the floors before doing so. I dislike white walls and over the years in our previous home I have attempted to paint the walls different colors and have always been displeased with the color once on the walls. I was determined to get it right this time by hiring a professional. Diane came by and spent close to two hours walking through my house, showing me color samples to help me get the look I have always dreamed of having. Not only did she pick great colors but she showed me how to use different shades for accent walls. She walked through the house with me again at the end and showed me exactly where the different colors and shades should go. I was so thrilled, I could not wait to buy paint. Diane provided me with an estimate for her company to strip off all the wallpaper and paint. We did not use her for that job although her prices were competitive. I would definitely recommend this business. I have an understanding of paint colors that I didn't have before and I was even confident enough to select colors, in a few of the rooms, other than the ones Diane recommended. I am very pleased with how the rooms turned out. Diane helped me get the look that I have tried for years to achieve.

Diana was very courteous and made an appointment with us to come to our home and give us an estimate. To my embarrassment, we forgot about the appointment because of serious medical problems that my aunt was having. Diana called me while she was sitting in our driveway, waiting for us. She was very gracious when we told her that we forgot about the appointment. We had to get the job done quickly because of an upcoming event at our home. We also decided to have our foyer painted a solid color instead of having it faux finished. We consequently didn't reschedule with Diana. We were very impressed by Diana's courtesy, professionalism, and understanding of our difficult circumstances.

This is the smallest job that Diana has done for me. As with all the other work, they performed their job with a high quality toward service. This project was a little different from others because they worked around other contractors in remodeling a bathroom. Tony came out within 24 hours each time my contractor indicated that the work was ready for patching/priming/painting. This occurred 3 times during the project and Tony could not have been more responsive. At one point, my contractors came down with the flu and we had to push everything back 48 hours. It was not a problem for Tony. I have had other painters over the years and would never have anyone else again. What makes Creative Walls and Spaces top notch is that they will work with you until you are COMPLETELY satisfied. I changed colors in the bathroom after one had been selected but before we had the tile installed. THe color I had selected did not compliment the tile once it was in the room. Diana created more sample boards without batting an eye. I have found that because they are so busy occasionally it can take 24-48 hours to get an initial call returned, but never during the critical time that the work is being done. When they are on the job, they are always available. As with most top quality workers, you cannot expect that they are available at the drop of a hat. Frankly, I would rather wait for their availability than have someone else paint in my home. Having used several other painters over the 25 years in my home, I cannot even begin to compare quality. Creative Walls and Spaces has earned my business.

I purchased a plaster repair deal from this company and spent several frustrating months trying to get them to come out to honor the coupon. I suspect that they bit off more than they could chew with the offering and prioritized their bigger projects ahead of anyone that purchased a promo from them. As my promo was nearing it's expiration date (that's how long this has been going on), I ended up just asking for a refund from Angie's List. Getting the refund was the smoothest part of this whole experience. Thanks Angies List.

They are terrible. The owner is very, very rude. They really don't care about customer service or satisfaction.

Diana was scheduled to meet us at our home July 22nd at 10am. She never showed up. She never called. My husband called her and left a message to find out if she was coming. She did not respond.

They repaired the plaster quickly and easily. We've tried it ourselves in the past and it is very difficult to do.

Two men came and painted for 8 hours. Experienced, affable, eager to do whatever I needed done. No slacking...they busted a** the whole time.I would have rated the quality "A"...but it wasn't perfect. But, perfect is hard, I would have them work for me any time exactly how they worked this time.

They are unresponsive. Have not even been able to set up a first visit.

The work was done well. Am happy with the finished project.

This does leave me feeling very confident that they would be responsive in the future or speak to their reliability or the quality of their service.

We highly recommend using Creative Walls and Spaces. This is the third time we have used them to do interior work in our home, from the first experience to the most recent it has been a joy to have them in our home. "Creative" is the operable term to describe Diana Austin-Cavaliere and husband Tony. Their expertiese goes far beyond painting.Diana took us by the hand and walked us through developing a comprehensive color scheme to blend our newly refinished floors, furniture fabrics, window treatments and three different colors for our ceiling and walls. Diana traveled to many furniture stores selected fabrics for all of our new couches and chairs, helped us choose a new wrought iron bannister, met with a window treatment designer to choose fabrics. She was eager to meet with us and was always on time. All appointments, schedule times for painters to arrived were as promised. Tony built a beautiful frame for a large wall mirror out of solid walnut paneling that was removed from a staircase wall. Diana and Tony are indeed a dynamic duo. We will use them again and again. I called and then additionally added an email submission via their website on Thursday, April 14th at noon. On both the call and web submission I left all information that would be needed to return my inquiry; in this case, time was of the essence as they were offering an Angie's List Big Deal coupon. 48 hours later I have still not heard back from them, neither via phone call nor email.

I am not very good at typing, so can't tell you everything, only that we can hardly wait to have the bedrooms and office done by the wonderful folks now that we see how painless it can be!

Excellent. Very professional and easy to talk to. They covered all my furniture and any entryways with plastic. Excellent clean up job. The repair and sanding was phenomenal, the repairs felt smooth as silk. They use a top grade plaster which adheres well to the lattice. They completed the job in 3-1/2 days. Always here approx 8am.

We discussed the project, but when they started the project they ended up tearing up the entire wall instead of just attending to the weak walls, and the project was never finished. I talked to them after the first time that they were here and explained that they were doing the wrong thing. They came back for 2 more hours at no extra charge, but they still didn't finish.

Diana was great with helping us pick colors as we were starting with a neutral house. She worked with the color pallet we prefer and was able to bring out a great deal of color in every room. The painters arrived on time daily and were great. They took great pride in their work, and checked periodically with me to ensure they were on track. They also did extra things like re-caulking the fireplace to the wall where it was coming away. They cleaned up after themselves daily. We were very happy with our experience of using Creative Walls and Spaces team.

Experience was great. Diana was very helpful. We met at my house to look at rooms and then again at furniture store to match paint colors to furntiure on order. Diana and I met for a third time to view sample boards she created to approve color and determine faux painting technique in dining room. She was very patient and open to modfication as I was still trying to figure out the look I wanted in dining room. Her crew was very friendly and professional. She also did all of this on a condensed time frame to have the rooms done by the Thanksgiving holiday.

The experience was fabulous. They were very professional. We would absolutely use them again.

Diana's color selection service was extremely helpful. She made 3 house visits. One to our old house to see our furniture, bedding, and provide some ideas. Second visit to bring out some 3x3 poster boards of the colors she recommeded to see how I liked them. Third visit was to our new house that was actually getting painted to see how the colors would actually look in the space. We really like the color choices and made it a painless process for those that aren't artistic in terms of interior decorating. The crew worked weekends to finish the space before we moved in and accomodated a couple changes in scope that we made on the fly. We did a bit of miscommunication on the completion date, but regardless of whose fault it was, Diana arranged the crew's schedule to complete on time. She also made some good recommendation on where to skimp and where not to skimp in terms of what trim/doors/ceiling could get away with not repainting, and what really needs it. When complete the crew offered to come back after we moved in to do any touchup work we wanted them to for no additional cost even if it was due to the movers marking up the walls. The honored that commitment and came back and spent ~8 additional manhours at hour house about 2 weeks later putting a 2nd coat on our fireplace, redoing trim in one of the rooms, etc... The price seemed comparable to other quotes I was getting in that didn't offer any consultation service. Creative Walls and Spaces is perfect for busy people that want a full service painter.

Diana and her crew are always a joy to work with - helpful, prompt and very professional. They come on time, do the job promptly and beautifully and always leave a clean, gorgreous room behind. She even gave me some free pointers on rearragning my living room furniture more attractively. I will definitely use them again in the future.

I called Creative Walls & Spaces because of the good reviews about helping customers choose colors for their painting projects, When I called I got voice mail and left a message and Diana called back within an hour. We scheduled an appoint to come out and give me a price on painting my daughters bedroom, 30 minutes before the appointment she called to reschedule because she was sick and had made an appointment with the doctor. We rescheduled for another day at 10:00 in the morning, she called a day before this appointment to say she needed to reschedule, she had a ground braking to go to. So we rescheduled later the next day at 1:00. At 12:15 she called and said she was in front of my house, I rushed home from work which thankfully is only 10 to 15 minutes away. We looked at the room, she gave suggestions about the color and about a couple repairs to cracks, we talked for a few minutes and she said she would call me in a couple of days with a price. It is November 30th and I never heard from her. I would not use anyone who is so unpredictable.

Terrible Experience!! I'd like to be upfront and say that we never went so far as to retain this company for work. And hopefully, the description below would give an insight as to why I feel that my experience with this lady was one of the worst. I work for an owner that has 4 condos. The owner feels that if we were to freshly paint all the units not with a base white mentality, but more with a decorator's touch and some color, then the units would attract a different type of client/renters. After reading all the positive comments about this company, I decided that it was worth the time to call Diana. We were working on a particular unit that had cigarettes odor and wanted to know what her methods would be. This was when things went downhill. First, there?s no one to pick up the phone (I got her voicemail on each of the first three tries). After finally reaching her one morning, Diana said that she'd call me right back- apparently this meant 5pm the next day. Second, 40 minutes before we were to meet up for a consultation and a quote, she called to say that she needed to move the appointment back another 30minutes (not a big deal but it did take 4 days for her to have availability). Third, while meeting me at one of the condos, Diana wore her headset as she spent the next 30minutes on an ?important? conference call. She was actually doing this after I had driven 30 minutes to meet her at the location. Even crazier, she didn?t even say a word to the conference call that lasted over 30 minutes- but somehow, her and I never had a real conversation. At one point, she did stop long enough to say ?this place is terrible, are you going to replace the carpeting?? Remember at this point, we had actually never met or spoke because she?s been listening to her call from the beginning. Finally, after walking around the condo a bit, while on her conference call, she paused long enough to say that she had everything that she needed. And to top that off, she said ?nice to meet you? as she walked towards her car to leave. I don?t know anything about running a carpeting business, but I do know that after my experience with Diana, perhaps she?s got a few things to learn herself. Needless to say, my maintenance group and the many properties that we service, will never call upon this disappointment of a company.
