It has been three weeks since he came over to take a look at my basement remodeling project. He has never followed up as he said he would. If he wasn't interested he should not have offered to do a proposal. I think he knew while he was still in my house that he wasn't going to follow-up as he seemed disappointed that the project wasn't bigger and therefore would not be a big money maker for him.

I have to say that working with Bart's Remodeling has been excellent. Bart's Remodeling completed a tremendous job in remodeling our basement. Bart and his staff were very cooperative and attentive in accommodating our last minute additions and changes to the contract. the staff was always on time to begin work and always maintained a clean area at end of day. The job was scheduled to be completed in about 28 days, it did extend past that but for reasons out of Bart's control. In the end i could not be happier with the end result. We now have a completely finished basement which houses 1 full bathroom, 2 spacious bedrooms w/closets, and living room wired for my home-theater and a modern fireplace with sparkling white natural stone. It is with pleasure that we recommend " Barts Remodeling and Construction" to anyone who is searching for a good and honest company to hire . P.S. The job done by Bart's crew was beyond our expectations. They were ultra prompt, hard working, committed men who worked with a purpose. Walking surfaces were protected and cleaned daily, mess was kept to a minimum, they asked for and respected my input throughout the process, and completed both bathrooms in less time than quote stated. I would (and have already) highly recommend Bart's Remodeling and Construction.

In the spring of 2012 we began interviewing contractors to complete the build out of our unfinished basement. The basement was bare concrete walls and floor with open ceiling joists. After reviewing the bids from 5 contractors, we chose Bart's remodeling. During the bid process we found him to be very knowledgeable regarding the permits, timelines and options for our basement project. We had bids ranging from 28K to over 60K for the same work. We also chose Bart due to the quality of the work that we reviewed from his past projects and speaking with his references. The project was well run and his budget allowed us to include a full bathroom and kitchen in the basement. Bart was also very helpful in keeping the cost of materials down by giving us the access to his suppliers. For example, we originally were going to use carpet squares on the floor but we were able to install ceramic tile in the entire basement due to the excellent pricing that we got by using Bart?s supplier. We also appreciated the quality of the workers that were on site during the project. They were courteous and always left the house with things put away and the job site clean. Our project was extensive, requiring full electrical, plumbing, and framing. All areas were completed with high quality finishes and systems. We upgraded from Bart?s bid to install a low voltage ? halogen lighting system. All lights are on dimmers and it creates a very nice environment. We are very happy with the job and we will use Bart again for our future projects.

I had no problems leaving then alone. The work was done in the time that was given. Space was kept clean in my home. I will definitely use them again.

He was very prompt and had followed up with me twice. We are waiting to move forward with the project until next year but I would use Bart and his team in the future

Our experience with him was great. He answered his phone personally on my initial call, came out in person the next day to do the quote based on our schedule, was very nice and professional. Provided an estimate within the promised timeframe and followed up a few days later (I think at least twice). He is very organized and I would feel comfortable working with him. We have not awarded the job at this point as we have put our plans on hold for awhile.

We were going to use him but his schedule was too booked for our time line. The quote process was fine. He was very quick and very professional. He got us an electronic quote. I thought he was very professional. The amount he quoted was $3500. I thought he was very affordable and he was very professional. He was quick to respond. He gave us a quote within twenty four hours. There were no complications with him. He seemed pretty honest to me. We will consider using his services again in the future.

I have to admit that Bart (the owner) was involved in the project as well. He has a good eye for the details.Schedule was well kept,workers were neat and clean Most of them were helpful They remodeled our basement and did a great work!

We are so happy that Barts Remodeling did our bathroom. Bartosz Dziewiecki, company owner helped us with the selection of fixtures, tile, colors, etc., and gave us valuable advice and direction. His allowances on the bid were reasonable, and he was quick to inform us precisely if we chose more expensive items, so we could make a judgment as to whether or not it was worth the extra cost. He gave us a realistic time frame for the job and met the deadlines. He made sure the site was cleaned up at the end of every day, covering surrounding areas and taking care they were cleaned up as well, and we are delighted with the results. We have a beautiful new master bath, and next year we are planning to change out kitchen. We highly recommend Barts Remodeling to anyone planning a major remodeling project.
