Do not hire I heard that from a lot of people and I didn’t listen now I regret it. He hardly showed up and when he did he would only be here for a couple of hours and leave. The job took a little over 3 weeks because he was never here when he said he was going to be and the work he did was crappy

The owner, Rod Martin, said it would be a two-day job, but it ended up taking five days. He wired the thermostat wrong, so that when I put the system on Heat, I got air conditioning and when I put the system on Cool, I got heat. I tried to contact him to ask him to come back and fix it. He does not have a functioning answering machine, so I could not leave a message. He did not return my calls. I finally paid another service provider to correct the error in the thermostat wiring. Martin insisted on being paid in full prior to finishing the job. I thought that was unusual, but I complied with his request. He said he would register my purchase with Rheem, but after he ducked my calls regarding the thermostat, I decided to contact Rheem to see if he had registered it. Rheem told me my purchase had not been registered. Rheem gave me the information to register the purchase myself. Rheem also emailed me the warranty certificate and the use and care documents. Martin did not give me any of this paperwork. So far, my new equipment seems to be working okay. However, my overall experience with Martin was so poor that I will not hire him in the future. I would also not recommend him to anyone else.
