Overall we very much like our new bathroom. It was a complete bath remodel. The job required extensive title work on the walls throughout the bathroom and glass tile in the tub area. We replace ceramic flooring with beautiful travertine stone and overall the workmanship was very good. Notwithstanding the general good workmanship on the tile and flooring, the plumbing was a disaster. The tub leaked and the drain plug did not work. Pat used mismatched parts (new and old) and was not very responsive when addressing our follow up complaints. In fact he wanted to charge us extra for coming back to fix. His response was "that's because we "J*wed him on price" in the first place. VERY INSULTING and DISSAPPOINTING. Instead we hired another plumber to finish the job. Additionally, Mr. Hoffman's attention to details were lacking. He often lacked patience and would install only what was provided (no matter whether additional parts may have been required). He does home renovations for a living and would have thought he'd have more patience with homeowners. For instance, we purchased a vanity that was about 1" too deep for the space. Rather than raising this issue to our attention, I come home from work to a completely installed vanity....caulked, plumbed & done that now sits on top of the floor register. Between the vanity issue, the plumbing issues and lack of professionalism, we would not use Hoffman construction again.
Description of Work: Complete bathroom remodel. Installed all new fixtures, tub, vanity, tile and travertine flooring.

Beware!
Description of Work: Hack, rouge contractor! Too many examples to list. Unethical and dishonest, also extremely volatile. At the end of the job, when he stormed out of my house because I told him my husband would write check for the remained of the bill, he blew up! I had two phones in my hand, one calling my husband and the other ready to dial 911. That serious! Total unprofessional and unacceptable. He called me names, swore at me and stormed around my kitchen slamming brand new cabnet doors doors and throwing equipment! I actually thought he might hit me. All I wanted him was out of my house! I documented everything w photos....happy to share! It cost me over 2,000 dollars to fix his mistakes and errors, including repair to brand new fisher paykel dish washer which he installed and drilled dry wall screws threw the top of the unit.....beware.

No return phone call.
Description of Work: I called in regard to getting an estimate for work. I told him what I wanted and he said he would call me back. I never got a return call.
Excellent! We're thrilled! Patrick was always professional and was on-site every day. We lived in the house during the project and he was very helpful and considerate of our needs during construction, even going as far as constructing a temporary 'kitchen' in the dining room while the real kitchen was being demolished. He was also very helpful with design ideas and ideas to keep the project on budget. They cleaned up at the end of every day, and dust/debris was minimal. He used top quality materials. I'd highly recommend Hoffman Builders.
