ROE CONSTRUCTION

The project was delayed by about 5 months. Jim Roe, the owner, never returned repeated calls and always made unfulfilled promises. It got to the point where I had to threaten a lawsuit. The work when it was finally completed was average and repeated calls to come back and fix something were never returned. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.

Admittedly, the work done on the house is beautiful. Their website shows the fine woodwork and kitchen revisions that this company is capable of. My complaint arises from problems that occurred within a year of the improvement. There is grout and tile separation in the master bathroom throughout (in addition to the use of two different colors of grout.) The roof gutters don't drain properly. Another issue we discovered with the house relates to the sub optimal wiring and use of non-code wire colors and types. We ended up consulting an outside firm to improve the drainage of the roof (which still spills over), although we attempted to get Roe to fix our bathroom. After one year and no less than 25 calls to him, I gave up. He very professionally would promise to send someone out to repair the grout, but it would just never happen. I am dissatisfied with the service we received with respect to correction of this flaw in construction, although the house was otherwise very well done.
