+ 1 moreThey took apart the old lame fireplace trim and white marble tile. Unfortunately there was an unpleasant surprise when they dismantled the old fireplace surround, and they had to add drywall before doing the mosaic tile. This was not their fault, but rather the previous owner's, and they did a great job making it work correctly. Brian took the time to make sure each detail was to my pleasing as he built the new mantle.They thought the grout color we had chosen would be too dark and steered us toward a lighter color. They were definitely right! They did a fabulous job putting it all together, and it is just beautiful.
Description of Work: We had a custom fireplace mantle built and glass mosaic surround put in.

+ 6 moreBrian did a great job. I was pretty picky on some things and he couldn't be more obliging. I also kept adding items to my "to do" list and he had no problem with that. I am extremely happy with the results and love the look of the new flooring.
Description of Work: Installed Armstrong resilient tile in kitchen, foyer, laundry room and bath. Installed (glued and screwed) a 1/4" plywood sub-floor in the kitchen and foyer. Trimmed and installed reducing strips and sweeps on two doors. Re-installed toilet and vanity sink. Put in trim in laundry room, closet and hallway. Installed new doorbell, ceiling fan light and living room chandelier. Caulked kitchen sink and counter.

Not only did he do a great job on everything, he gave me advice on the best way to do my "do-it-yourself" projects. He's friendly, helpful and fair. He returns your calls and keeps you informed. I will definitely use him again in the future. You couldn't ask for a better handyman.
Description of Work: Replaced drywall in living room ceiling and family room wall, patched drywall in three other places, installed new garbage disposal, new vanity faucet, water hookup and valves, repaired bathtub tile (grouted and caulked), replaced shower valve stem, replaced two outlets with GCFI switches, put in new medicine cabinet light box and patched old area, skim coated bathroom walls, replaced four outside light fixtures and caulked them, installed three door lock sets and installed a door support bar.
