Dennis ripped me and my husband off of 11000 dollars. He showed up 2 times to my house. My husband and I did all of the work besides his buddy coming to do our driveway. He never finished his work before winter came. Now he will not answer the phone. Hangs up on us after 1 ring of the phone. He is so unprofessional. I would not hire him even if he was the last person on earth to do this job.

We met Dennis Ross after a phone call to him about a water drainage problem. After a horrendous night of storms and issues with water around the house, we called Dennis Ross at 7 am the next morning. He immediately recommended a friend of his to come out and put drainage around our house. This was a major deal and soon after this Dennis came out to look at the landscaping. Of course we began to discuss the entire property as we had recently completed a major addition that left us with no landscaping or patio. As we were very grateful that we had fixed our drainage issue, Dennis took our plat and worked with his designer to draw up plans. Many others had asked for deposits on the design plans, but Dennis did not charge. Ultimately, we had other bids but always went back to Dennis as his enthusiasm and excitement over our project was contagious. After getting the first bid we were still not sure about material selections and really wanted something special for our patio. Dennis saw that we wanted to do something more and got creative with materials. Dennis started a 1000 sq ft patio install on a Monday and was completed by Friday that same week! The following week on a Saturday, they laid Sod, planted tress and plants! We had an instant back yard! My neighbors could not believe how quickly the project was done! We were very happy and grateful that FINALLY we had our projected completed! We highly recommend Dennis and really hope that others get their projects done with such excitement and excellent results!!

I am forced to write up this contractor since I am tired of trying to chase him down. The original installation in summer '05 was a nightmare of broken promises and constant hounding to get things done. We were forced to close on our new house without landscaping since Dennis could not deliver on his original schedule. Current issues: 3 dead trees were removed but never replaced; 1 dead plant not replaced (all under warranty), brick work has sunk in 2 places causing puddles, one large tree planted directly under power lines which must be moved, lighting wiring is faulty and constantly needs maintenance, gutter drainage incorrectly installed causing loss of flower bed soil (I already had to fix this after numerous calls were ignored), rear yard sod does not drain correctly. All I want is Ross Design to spend a few hours resolving these issues. This poor service has cost Ross three referral of neighbors already. Any good business person would just solve these problems.
