Hugh quickly responded and quoted a very good price to grind three tree stumps in our backyard. He had no problem bringing his equipment in the backyard and the job was quickly completed. Hugh was very professional and prompt in communicating with me regarding a stump that I needed to get removed. He was open and honest about the additional cost related to the far distance that I was located from his base of operation to remove the one stump. I found his pricing to be reasonable, especially when compared to full-service tree removal companies that often will charge a high minimum simply to come out. I had a clump maple that died last year and needed the stump removed. I sent email inquiries to several Angie List providers but only Hugh promptly got in touch with me. He was able to come over the same day and ground out the stump. Then he raked all the chips into a pile, leaving the landscape clean. His price was very reasonable and he was great to deal with. I highly recommend!

I called Hugh and told him that I had blue spruce stump that needed to be removed. He asked me the diameter of the stump and I told him. He told me it would be $125 to grind the stump, I said great when can you come out and do it.. He gave me a date and time and we scheduled it. He showed up on time and grinded the stump down. I was very pleased with the quality of work he did. He had to grind down at least 2 feet below ground level if not more. The price was right he was on time and I am very happy. I would hire him again!!!

He is very professional and I will definitely use him in the future for any stump removals. He has professional equipment, is honest, and cleaned up after he was done. Our tenants are particular about having the premises clean, and he did a great job of cleaning up.

Hugh responded to my initial call on the same day. He came out early the next morning and removed the stump for the price quoted,, taking the stump to below ground level.
