 + 6 moreKen and his crew took a week to do the job and the condo looked like a new unit. The condo was in terrible need of updating since the decor was very outdated. Ken came and gave us an estimate that I felt was more than fair. They did the work in a timely fashion and did a very good job. I did have to call him about a few things they missed or things that were done sloppy. He came back twice to resolve the issues I had. We sold the condo in 3 weeks.
Description of Work: Ken and his crew came in and updated a condo that we were selling for an estate. They painted, hung dry wall, removed wallpaper from the 70's, removed and installed tile in a shower area, removed damaged Pergo flooring, replaced light fixtures, as well as other small details to make the unit more presentable to a buyer.

 + -1 moreKen Becker, the Contractor, did excellent work, including the immaculate, beautiful tile and grout work. He well coordinated Sub-Contractors, who did the bathtub enamel paint work, and some of the plumbing work. He did the work in sections vs. continually day by day; at times he needed to be working on other projects. He always let us know when he'd be available to work in our home.
Description of Work: REMODELED HALL BATHROOM Removed 48"old vanity; installed same size new vanity with sink, faucets, spout, and plumbing (included new hot/cold shut-off valves). Hung new larger mirror, installed lights over vanity with energy efficient new ones, and replaced three towel racks with new ones. Took out old door; installed new door (stained it), and installed door knobs. Tore out old baseboards; replaced baseboards (stained them). Tore up old vinyl flooring; installed new ceramic floor tile with grout. Took out old ceramic tile on three walls around tub; mounted new ceramic wall tile with grout. Replaced old tub/shower spouts, faucets, drain, and plumbing behind wall. Bathtub's old enamel paint replaced with new. Removed old toilet; put in new, efficient model. Took down old ceiling fan; replaced with relocated new fan (with light), and redesigned venting for efficiency. Prepared and painted with high quality paint two bathroom walls, and ceiling. The majority of new materials was purchased by the homeowner.

 + -1 moreKen came highly recommanded by a friend, and he was absolutely excellent! I have found some problems with all my doors, and all other handymen I've contacted suggested installation of new doors, which would've been very costly. Ken carefully examed the doors, and determined that only one door needed to be replaced and three other doors could be repaired. He brought his son Craig Becker, who is an amazing carpenter, and repaired/installed the doors for me. They were professional and highly skilled. I couldn't be happier with the work they've done.
