There was a miscommunication - I did not want the gutter aprons but they apparently did them anyway and then my invoice was $50 more than what he quoted me. However, the rest of the experience was good and they did the work well and promptly.

He was not able to find anything. He stood on the roof and hosed it down to recreate wet conditions. Nothing happened on the ceiling. He wouldn't go into the attic crawl space though. I went in myself and found where it was wet. He put a sealant on the roof. It turns out that this didn't solve the problem, and the sealant that he used makes it very difficult to deal with for anybody else to work with.

Ron Staffa was our point person from the estimate through the entire process. We couldn't say enough positive things about Ron. He was always here when he said he would be, he checked in frequently during the process by phone and in person to check on work progress, he promptly and completely answered any questions we had. He represents Nyberg with great integrity, pride in workmanship, follow-through and truly cares about customer satisfaction. Our experience with the installers was great as well. It is a pleasure to see craftsmen who take such pride in their work. Andy (the window specialist) also took great care in measuring all of the windows and puzzling with us over a particularly challenging window. In the end, his advice was to leave it as is. Although it could have been replaced, it is a decorative window and would have cost far more than it was worth to do that. We appreciated his time, attention and honesty in working with us on that challenge.

Really good. Although my problem ultimately didn't stem from the roof and therefore I wasn't able to use Mr. Nyberg's services, he was very helpful in diagnosing the trouble and gave my building a thorough look. I would recommend he and his company.

WE MIGHT STILL USE THEM FOR THE FLAT ROOF.

Ron Staffa was great to work with. In addition to being very pleasant, he returned all calls promptly and was very knowledgeable about the products and the type of work. He gave us updates as to when the workers would be there and how long the job would take. They were there when he said they would be, and the time frame estimate was right on target.

I would appreciate them saying they don't come to my area, rather than my waiting and putting off the work all together.

I called on the 9th of February, 2006, and have not received a return phone call. If he can't fit me in to his schedule, perhaps he could call and tell me that? P.S. this is NOT the first contractor that has not returned a phone call, and I am trying to make the point that this is very annoying, if not completely disrespectful.

We could not be more satisfied with the work done & the manner in which it was performed. Everyone involved-from Ron Staffa, the salesman & supervisor, to the expert installers-Eugene & Andy-were very professional,knowledable,helpful & polite. Eugene & Andy always arrived on time, worked continuously & diligently, answered any questions we had about the work in progress & displayed great people skills & rapport. Both are master craftsmen & a credit to their trade & company. We have had previous work done by Nyberg Enterprises - new roof,fascia & soffits etc -& we have always been extremely satisfied with the quality of their work & the professionalism of their personnel. Pricing was very reasonable considering the job size & the quality of the work performed. We are especially impressed with the new door installation & how it enhances our home's appearance. We would definitely recommend Nyberg Enterprises to everyone & would use their services again.

This project is the reason I signed up for Angie's List. I had 2 other companies out for estimates prior to reading Nyberg's other ratings and calling them. Most estimates were about the same on the money side, but when Darek came out, he just seemed to know more about installing windows than anyone else I had met. It took a few weeks to get the windows, then weather and holidays pushed us back a bit, but when they started, they did the work in 2 days. The installers were very clean, helped me move any furniture that was in the way, and did an excellent job. I can't describe how happy I am to have these new windows. I no longer shiver in my living room, and my house went from one of the ugliest on the block, to one of the nicer ones, all because of the new windows. I'll be having them install gutters very soon, and when the time comes to do the roof, they'll be my first call. I could not be happier.

Rep explained the cause of the problem and that it would not be easy to remedy. Was very helpful and explanation made sense.

They were terrific. I had tried to get my original roofers out, however I guess with a small job they were suddenly no longer interested. Nyberg returned my call and quickly came out and gave me an estimate. They then returned 2 days later to do the job. What amazed me the most was the actual bill was $100.00 less than the estimate. I was told it didn't take as long as expected. Great job. Very friendly.

VERY POLITE AND PLEASANT. HE WAS RESPONSIVE REGARDING AN ILL FITTING ROOF ENTRY HATCH. THEY PLACED RUBBER AROUND THE HATCH AND IT DIDN'T FIT PROPERLY, AND THEY APPEARED TO HAVE FIXED THE PROBLEM.

My roof was leaking, and I was not sure if I needed a whole new roof, or if I just needed to repair parts of it. Stuart came out and was absolutely fantastic about explaining what needed to be done, what his company could and could not do, and he told me not to replace the roof, but to do some more basic repairs. He easily could have sold me a whole new roof, and his integrity was great. He gave me a referral of someone else and said that they might be able to do the entire job for less if they did the whole thing. He showed up exactly when he said he would (for both the work as well as the estimating). He apparently did great work, since my roof no longer leaks. He was extremely professional. I wish all vendors I dealt with in my life were like this. It was a pleasure to work with him.

STUART NYBERG WAS VERY HONEST IN ASSESSING THE CONDITION OF OUR ROOF. HE QUOTED WHAT WAS REQUESTED; REPAIRS VS. NEW ROOF AND DID NOT TRY TO UP-SELL US ON ANYTHING. ALTHOUGH HE THOUGHT WE HAD A COUPLE YEARS LEFT ON THE PITCHED PART OF OUR ROOF, WE WENT WITH THE COMPLETE NEW ROOF. OUR NEIGHBORS COMMENTED ON HOW WELL THE INSTALLERS CLEANED UP AND PROTECTED THEIR HOMES DURING THE JOB. WE WOULD GO WITH NYBERG AGAIN FOR ROOFING NEEDS.

CONTACT WAS PROFESSIONAL AND POLITE. PRICE WAS CLOSE TO WHERE IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN, JUST A LITTLE HIGHER, BUT WITHIN REASON. NYBERG TOLD US APPROX WHEN HE WOULD BE ABLE TO DO THE JOB, AND HE WAS ON TARGET. THE WORKMEN DID THEIR JOB, SHOWING CONCERN ABOUT UNEXPECTED WEATHER CHANGES BY NOT EXPOSING MORE OF THE ROOF THAN THEY COULD COVER. THEY USED A CHUTE TO REMOVE THE OLD ROOFING MATERIAL. THEY WORKED QUICKLY AND WERE GONE IN A COUPLE OF DAYS. I'VE ASKED MR NYBERG TO LOOK AT ADDITIONAL WORK. THANK YOU ANGIE'S LIST FOR THE REFERRAL.

ABOUT (10) DAYS AFTER I CALLED THEM, DEREK CAME OUT WITHOUT A SPECIFIC APPOINTMENT. HE SUGGESTED ALL NEW GUTTERS WITHOUT INSPECTING THE PROBLEM AREA. I TOLD HIM THAT I WAS NOT GOING TO REPLACE THEM NOW. THEY ARE NOT THAT BAD AND I JUST WANTED TWO SECTIONS REPAIRED. HE TOLD ME HE WOULD LOOK THINGS OVER AND I LEFT HIM AT THE HOUSE TO GO TO WORK. I GUESS HE DECIDED THE JOB WASN'T WORTH IT BECAUSE I NEVER GOT AN ESTIMATE. I USED ANDY'S CUSTOM GUTTERS AND GOT A VERY SATISFACTORY REPAIR. TOO BAD FOR NYBERG - I HAD THEM ON MY SHORT LIST TO REPLACE MY ROOF IN A YEAR OR TWO.

THIS IS SMALL JOB, BUT NYBERG IS WILLING TO TAKE IT AND SOLVED THE PROBLEM PROFESSIONALLY.

THIS COMPANY WAS EXCELLENT FROM START TO FINISH. STUART WAS VERY HELPFUL AND PROFESSIONAL ON THE ESTIMATE CALL. THE WORKERS ARRIVED PROMPTLY. THERE WAS A SMALL PROBLEM WITH THE WORK WHICH WAS REMEDIED. I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN.

IT WAS SLIGHTLY HARD TO COORDINATE SCHEDULES WITH STUART, BUT ALL WORKED FINE. I KNOW HE IS VERY BUSY AND I HAD MANY OTHER APPOINTMENTS DUE TO OUR REHAB JOB, SO BOTH ARE TO BLAME. HE WAS PROFESSIONAL AND POLITE. HE SAID THAT HIS COMPANY WAS NOT AS EXPERT AT THE TYPE OF ROOFING WE HAVE, THAT THEY FOCUS MORE ON SHINGLE ROOFING. I APPRECIATED THE INPUT AND THE TIME HE TOOK TO SEE OUR JOB SITE.

RON NYBERG WAS THE ONLY ROOFER WHO WOULD CONSIDER ROOF REPAIRS. EVERYONE ELSE WANTED NOTHING TO DO WITH REPAIRS (EVEN WHEN THEIR WEBSITE SAID THEY DO THEM) & ALL THE OTHER COMPANIES GAVE US ESTIMATES FOR FULL TEAR OFF & REPLACEMENT. RON WAS EXTREMELY PERSONABLE & CAME WITH HIS "RIGHT ARM" HELPER OF 11 YEARS, MARK, WHO WAS VERY NICE AS WELL. MARK DID AN INCREDIBLE JOB & THE PRICE WAS RIGHT. THIS IS AN AWESOME COMPANY & I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO EVERYONE.

GOOD EXPERIENCE. THIS WAS OPTIONAL WORK. STUART SAID ROOF WAS IN GOOD SHAPE AND ONLY SUGGESTED THE MAINTENANCE. HE DID NOT PRESSURE US INTO THE WORK. WE DID IT GIVEN THE HISTORY OF LEAKS IN OUR COMPLEX. ACCOMMODATING TO OUR WORK SCHEDULES.

SENT A E-MAIL MESSAGE AND RECEIVED A CALL BACK FROM ANDY THE NEXT MORNING. HE MADE AN APPOINTMENT WITH MY HUSBAND FOR AN ESTIMATE, ARRIVED ON TIME, ANSWERED ALL QUESTIONS AND PROVIDED A FAIR AND REASONABLE QUOTE. WORK WAS DONE ON THE AGREED DAY BY A VERY POLITE TEAM. THE SITE WAS BROOM SWEPT BEFORE THEY LEFT - YOU WOULD HAVE NEVER KNOWN THE ROOF HAD JUST BEEN REPAIRED. IT'S OBVIOUS THE NYBERG FAMILY PLACES IMPORTANCE ON THE TERM ''CUSTOMER SERVICE.'' THEY WERE A TRUE PLEASURE TO WORK WITH.

WINDOWS LOOK AND WORK GREAT, SO DOES THE GUTTER. THEIR ESTIMATE WAS SLIGHTLY MORE THAN THE OTHER TWO I GOT, BUT THEY ASSURED ME THERE WOULD BE NO EXTRAS FOR WOODWORK, ET CETERA, WHICH THE OTHER COMPANIES DID NOT.
