Derek's team did a great job. His crew showed up on time and Derek gave us courtesy calls when weather prevented them from coming. The gutter work was done professionally and just as we discussed. Derek was always available via cell and gave us some good ideas on how to fix our drainage problem. The windows that we planned to replace ended up being significantly more work than they had planned. There was a lot of complication due to old wood that needed to be replaced. They put aluminum framing around the windows and flashing around the roof near the new windows. Even though it took them longer than they had planned they honored the price that they had quoted and did what I feel is an absolutely superb job on the windows.

I emailed the company with a job of residing our entire home. They responded quickly and sent a representative out within a few days. The estimator spent about 1 hour measuring and said I would receive an estimate in a few days. It has been three weeks and I have received no response. I have emailed multiple times and called since the estimator was out and they have ignored me completely. If a company does not want a job, they need to just say so.

This company was great from the get go. They came to the house three or four times to evaluate and to fix the problem and we had numerous phone calls. When the process began, they were really just evaluating for us and thought the skylight company was going to fix it. In other words, they were putting in a lot of effort for something that they were not getting paid for. We even asked for an estimate to rip out the skylights and install new ones, and Andy Nyberg said we should try the cheaper fix first. We have had very heavy rains and have had no leaking. Through the entire process, everyone involved was pleasant and patient.

Everything went well. Job was completed in less than two days.

Project Manager Andy Kopka provided great service. He did the quote and managed the installation. Andy and his crew were professional and efficient. They worked during bitterly cold weather (Jan. 08) and it didn't even slow them down. At the end of the installation, I asked them to repair an existing downspout on my garage (the garage gutters were not being replaced). A crew member actually drove to Home Depot to get a replacement part because the garage gutters are old and funky and a different size than the new ones that were installed. And they didn't even charge me for the repair. That was service above and beyond! The gutters have now gone through two month s worth of a rough Chicago winter, and they re performing fine. I noticed one very minor adjustment needed to be made. I called Andy and he came out the very same day and made the adjustment.

The initial estimate was done while there was still snow on the roof which complicated things. Initially the determination was that the flashing against the house was laid improperly and that was the source of the leak. When Andy came out to actually perform the repair it turned out there was a hole in the shingles (covered by snow) caused by a raccoon. Andy repaired the hole for the original estimate. Unfortunately the repair trapped the raccoon inside the house which caused damage elsewhere and eventually a new hole in the roof where it finally escaped.

Our roof had two small areas where the shingles had blown off. I called two contractors for an estimate. Andy of Nyberg Exteriors was out within a day. He provided an estimate that was 50% less than the other contractor. I called to schedule the repair and they were out the next day to complete the job.

He did some extra work adjusting a door which they did not have to do. That was very nice of him. It was an excellent experience from beginning to end.

HE WAS VERY POLITE, AND CLEANED UP VERY NICELY EVERYDAY. I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH NICE THINGS ABOUT HIM. ANDY NYBERG IS THE OWNER AND HE AND HIS CREW ARE JUST AMAZING. THEY ARE EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL AND I WOULD ONLY DEAL WITH HIM FROM HERE ON OUT. HE FINISHED THE JOB WITHIN A WEEK OR SO. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ANDY NYBERG AND HIS COMPANY.

They were absolutely outstanding. We really appreciated their attention to detail. Since the old Masonite siding on the house was rotting, they recommended pulling off the old siding first, to avoid any rot issues etc. Some of the other bids we got (at the same price) were just going to cover up the old siding. Very professional, courteous, and did very high quality work. Would definitely use them again.

They always guarantee there work and repairs are always made when needed.

Our experience with the company was exceptional. I called one morning to request a quote, and the representative came out that afternoon to examine the roof. He faxed a quote the following day. After he answered a couple of questions for us, we sent in a deposit for the work. The deposit didn't arrive (we found out later that there were "issues" with our mail carrier), and Nyberg told us not to worry about it, that we could pay in full after they did the work. (We sent that check by FedEx.)

Our initial call was returned promptly, followed by an immediate visit to provide an accurate estimate. He explained clearly to us what would be done and gave us a time frame which he followed. Because we used color coordinated materials they had to be special ordered. The material arrived within a couple of weeks and the installation was promptly scheduled. The workers were extremely pleasant and respectful of our property. Each evening when they stopped for the day they completely cleaned up leaving absolutely no debris. The whole project was completed within a few days. The workers even worked while it was snowing the last day to complete the work. Andy, the project manager followed up the next day to be sure we were satisfied.

From start to finish this was a completely satisfying situation. Starting with the immediate response from Andy, the same day written quote, to the completion of the installed porch column. This was a great experience that was hassle and worry free.

Nybergs representative knew what the problem was right away and the estimated price was the price I paid. The work was completed as promised and guaranteed! Great company and will definitely use again for an exterior project.

I've used Nyberg Exteriors in the past and been very pleased. This fall I have called 3 times and sent one email over the last 6 weeks with no response. Are they still in business?

They were on time, easy to work with, they got the job done quickly and kept the surroundings clean.

Left a message at their 847 number on 10/17 mentioning that they came recommended by Angie's List and that I would like to discuss a potential siding job with them. Ron returned my call on 10/19 saying that they would call me on 10/22/23 to discuss the job and schedule a time to visit the house for an estimate. After not hearing from them, I left another message on 10/24. Still have not heard back from them.

They did a great job. The bid was the lowest we got, but the salesman seemed very honest and knowledgeable. I liked that he showed up during the job to check on the other guys and see the progress. The only bad part of the process was that we were supposed to get 24 hours notice and the crew showed up with no notice. Other than that, it went really, really well. We watched them working from the third floor and those guys worked HARD all day, and did a really good job cleaning up.

I had no problem with them at all. They cleaned everything up very well, and they were very professional and polite to me throughout the whole procedure. The roof looks great and I haven't had any problems with it since I had them come out.

What I liked the most about them was their work ethic. It was amazing, as well as the quality of their work. Their prices were super reasonable. I am very pleased with the work that they did and I would use their services again.

They were fabulous and fixed some little things they had missed right away at no charge. Now that work is complete, we can really feel a difference in the house. They were however a little more expensive than other companies we checked into.

They responded promptly to my call for an estimate. They answered all my questions before I signed the contract. They kept me aware of their work schedule on other projects so I would have an idea when to expect them. They came when they said they would. They kept the work site clean. They did a beautiful job on the roof.
