My husband noticed mold in the corner of our garage roof corner during the winter when he happened to be in the garage with the garage door closed. Once winter passed, we asked four companies to bid on our roof. Nyberg was the best price and Arthur and Andy were extremely professional from start to finish. I received a call right away to schedule an estimate. Arthur and Andy came to our home, on time, to look at the garage roof. We were told that the roof would need to be replaced because the it was not installed correctly when the garage roof was done 10 or so years ago. (All four companies said the same.) We received a quote by email detailing the work that would need to be done. Our questions were answered promptly and we felt we received a great price. The work was scheduled very quickly and to our convenience. It rained the morning of the install, but the men were at our home when the rain cleared at 10AM and worked very hard all day finishing around 6. Everything was left clean. Andy and Arthur came to the job when the workers arrived, checked in the middle of the day, and followed up to come check the results. We really enjoyed having them involved from start to finish and they were responsive and helpful. We expect to use them again for the house roof.

It went extremely well. The work was done efficiently. They came as promised. And at the end of each day, they cleaned up everything. There were no tools, ladders or debris anywhere.

The new siding really freshens up the house. They cleaned up quite well. They were very efficient. There was a little problem with communication (language barrier), but we were quite happy.

Very good experience. Mr. Nyberg arrived on time, inspected job, provided estimate. Work was done as promised in the next 10 days.

Ted was my contact at Nyberg. He came promptly to discuss what needed to be done and took careful measurements. Part of my original intention was to replace the wooden beadboard soffit with the same thing. Unfortunately this turned out to be beyond my budget. Ted made several trips to bring samples of alternatives for the soffit. Since the original siding on the house (circa 1916) was no longer manufactured, he located something very similar, and it looks great. The roof was torn off and replaced in one day. There was no mess at all, and they even protected a neighbor's house with a tarp. Replacing the soffit with aluminum and capping most of the trim on the house took the longest, but the work was very well done - craftsman-like. This was a very good remodeling experience.

I've always found them to be very responsive. The work they do holds up and I've never had any problems with it. They do a good job cleaning up after themselves when they're finished. I will continue to use them for future work.

Andy responded to my call very quickly. Came out and gave estimate. Work scheduled within 2 weeks. Workers were on time, very professional, great attention to detail. Cleaned up area when finished. A very pleasant experience. Would definitely recommend and hire again in the future.

Andy and Arthur are absolutely tremendous people. They are both very professional, polite, extremely knowledgeable and have a fantastic sense of humor. I have a bit of a tough schedule and can only meet on the weekends - they were very accommodating. They both took a look at the situation and made the appropriate fixes. The price was extremely reasonable. They even went above and beyond, giving me advice on the age of my roof, shingles, and when I should have the next major work done. I almost wish my roof would leak again just so we can hang out some more!! I most definitely recommend them and will be using them again in the future!

Called company (and others) for an estimate for the first time last year. I decided, primarily based on the feedback on Angie's List and their quoted price, to use Nyberg. When I called them to accept, I couldn't get anyone to call me back. I did reach their Chicago office and was promised a call back which never came. I postponed replacing the roof for the season. Decided to give them another shot this year since they were competitively priced. Again, no call back. I left messages at both offices so I have to assume their non-response is intentional. My experience doesn't jibe with the other feedback on this company but I'm not impressed. Maybe they underbid the job. If that was case, they should just say so. After 30 days they weren't held to the price anyway. I can't figure this one out but its time to move on.

They explained what they were going to do and they did exactly that. They were professional and did a good job. They were sure to clean up everything when they were finished.

This is the second time that I have used them and I was well-satisfied.

Ted Nyberg came out to give us an estimate on replacing our siding with vinyl. We had gotten an estimate on cedar, which would have been $8,000 plus staining of $1800. We decided to go with vinyl. We had another estimate which was $10,000, and Ted's was $7,000 including $695 for shutters. The $10,000 didn't include the shutters. Ted came out for the estimate at the appointed time. He was professional and knowledgeable. We scheduled the work and it began on-time and was done in about 4 days. I had requested a dump truck over a dumpster on my property and this was accommodated. The workers were also professional and courteous. Everything was cleaned up perfectly during and after the job. I needed new downspouts to match the new work and this was done at no cost. They're even coming back to replace the downspout my husband erroneously told them not to replace. I would suggest this company to others and would hire them again.

This company did a great job. I was happy that they tried to match the color of the new mortar to the old. They made sure that everything was cleaned up after every days work. They used craftsmen who know what they were doing. They did a great job.

It went really well. They were on time for the estimate. He is a little more than other but because of his reputation I am went with him. He cleaned up well and offered to go with me to the roof so I could see the work but I trusted what he said.

Ron Stappa came out and I cannot give him high enough marks for his thoroughness and honesty in letting me know why the manufacturer no longer allows them to install Infinity. They can install all other windows by that company. He referred me to a different company and they will be doing my work. I would highly recommend Nyberg for windows to someone else and I would have used them if they could have installed the Infinity windows.

They seem to be okay. They were very pleasant. I got the impression that they were trying to push their business. They said if they did it that day it would be cheaper, but if they had to come back it would be more expensive by a 100 dollars.

The roofing guy was Mark. He came out the day after I signed the contract. I had been expecting a wait of some kind and I was pleased with the quick response. He replaced the shingles and ridges on the main house and also rebuilt the ridges on the gazebo. The job looks good and I'm pleased to have it over with so cleanly. Mark even stuck to it as the weather closed in and managed to finish up before it started raining. Good job!

I'm a residential real estate agent and I needed an estimate for some clients, as well as to have something checked on my own house. I originally spoke with Ron who was responsive, knowledgeable and arranged to have Andy Nyberg out on short notice to get us the information that we needed. My clients appreciated it and they were comfortable moving forward on an offer they wanted to make. Nyberg was great and I will call them in the future!

I appreciated the communications from Andy Nyberg who kept us informed of exactly when the work crew would be at our house and all steps in the process. We could depend on Andy keeping his word about each step. The re-shingling was started on a Monday afternoon, and completed the following day. The crew was also very congenial and worked well together and with us.

Contractor was prompt in responding to request for an estimate, was available to meet with us at the site, provided proposal immediately at that time after reviewing garage, answered all questions unhurriedly, thoroughly and in laymen's language, and left for our review sample folders of different brands/types/colors of shingles offered. Garage site was revisited once by contractor for us to point out an additional facia area requiring work, which made no change to their proposed price. This one-day-job was scheduled and performed within one day of contractor receiving signed contract and deposit---a nice finish-out-job for their week, as well as their recognizing our concern over having a very leaking garage roof. Workers, including Project Manager (Andy), showed up promptly at 7:30 am. The workers worked non-stop until completion. Two mushroom vents were cut-in to the existing deck and installed at no extra cost. Workers used as few sheets of roofing plywood as possible by halving 4'x8' sheets, at no additional charge over the scoped 4'x8' plywood charge. The Project Manager answered any/all questions I had throughout the process, and at my request looked at a leaking area of our house roof, and sealed/caulked area around two chimneys. The garage job was done quickly and thoroughly. Clean-up was good. Quality work was done, and the Nyberg employees definitely take pride in their work (and justly so)!

Andy Nyberg was very prompt & responsive. Estimate was in line with others. Work was completed in a little over a day. I'm very pleased. Have contracted with them to do windows in another house.
