From start to finish, Stuart and his crew were top-notch. Their estimate was a bit lower than the others I received, but that is only part of the reason I chose to work with Nyberg. I liked that they were a smaller, family owned company with a good track record. I also liked that Stuart was honest and up-front with me from the beginning when he told me that they were a bit back-logged, and wouldn't be able to get to my job for almost a month. The total job took only 3 days, and the crew was very professional, courteous, and mindful of cleaning-up after themselves daily and at the completion of the job. I had a couple of chair cushions on my back porch that got a bit dirty in the process of tearing-off the old roof, and Stuart insisted he cover the cost of having those cleaned, as they should have been covered by the crew before the work began...Just a top-notch guy! The new roof looks great, and the yard looks almost as if they hadn't been here at all. I couldn't be happier with my experience, and will look for Stuart again for further roofing needs.

I made an appointment with a gentleman named Ron Staffa over the phone for an estimate. Ron came out to see us not long after I called and we discussed the work we wanted. Ron is a very likable guy and I felt very comfortable working with him right away. He went over all our options and approximate costs on the spot with his notebook computer. He was able to give us a printout of the estimate on the spot before he left. My Wife and I reviewed his proposal later on that evening and we decided that we would go with Nyberg.

I liked the guys that came and they seemed very knowledgeable. They filed and sent me a written report with their recommendations, etc. I called them later for further details and they called me back right away. Although they said my roof was in fine shape, it has developed two leaks in the living room. Since I can't tell where the leak is, I understand why they couldn't either, this is just our lot in life now with a flat roof. That said, I will contact them in a couple years when the roof needs redoing as they seemed very up on the latest and most effective techniques.

He told me that I should get my gutters clean and that might be it. He didn't charge me anything to come out and look at that. He showed up on time to do the work.

We moved into our house this summer knowing that it needed a new roof. We thought we'd get through to spring but then the big September rains hit and left some water stains on the ceiling so we decided to have the job done sooner. I called a bunch of companies rated highly on Angie's List and they were all swamped with work due to the storms. Only two other companies were able to come out for estimates within a couple weeks of my calling. All the rest were going to take longer due to the volume of calls they were getting. Even with the rush of business, Andy from Nyberg Exteriors was very responsive and accessible. It really stood out from the rest. We received three total quotes. Nyberg's was the middle quote, but their quick responses and patience answering questions gave me a feeling that I could really trust them. I wanted a company that I felt would do a great job and be on schedule, and that's exactly what I got. I couldn't be happier with the job. Even with the crush of business from the heavy rains, they started right on schedule. It was a big job so it took 4 days, and the crew put in full days and cleaned up great every day. Final cleanup after completion of the job was amazing. The impression I'm left with from my experience with Nyberg Exteriors is that it's a good company committed to running an honest business and trying as hard as possible to best serve the customer.

The replacement of my gutters and downspouts is part of my overall project to eliminate water in the basement, limit downspout clogging, and move the water from the downspouts away from the foundation through new underground drain pipes. I also was painting the exterior of my home, and increasing soffit / attic ventilation. I originally contacted Nyberg, as well as other contractors that were well ranked on both Angie s list and a business rating agency. I requested a quote for gutters and downspouts, as well as aluminum covering of my soffit and fascia. Nyberg supplied a competitive quote for all of this work. As I progressed my projects, I decided to not cover my soffit and fascia due to a problem with the height of my windows in relation to the soffit. Ted from Nyberg was great at discussing options with me. It was largely due to his openness to discuss options and his knowledge and willingness to help me meet my goals, that I ultimately chose Nyberg. Ted loaned me a sample set of gutter colors, so I could have my house paint matched before hand to the gutter color I chose. So later, when I had the new gutters installed, they matched the color of the freshly painted house. Installation of the gutters went well, and the Nyberg crew was able to complete my large job in 1 day, which was faster than expected. They did a good job on all aspects of the installation including site prep, care with the ladders against the roof / house, gutter installation, downspout installation and connection to my in ground pipes, and then cleanup. I did double check the yard cleanup, and even though I think they did a good job, I did find some nails and pieces of cut off aluminum around my house. Anyone with children or dogs would want to double check this anyway. The project was just completed, and it hasn't rained yet, so I can't offer a review on the actual performance of the gutters / downspouts yet. So I may add a comment here later. Overall, satisfied at this point.

Very good. They came when they said they were going to come, and left the quote for us. We've decided to wait till next year to do our roof but would consider using them at that time.

Unfortunately, our house is outside the area they serve, but their promptness and professionalism in letting me know that were much appreciated.

I had called and left a message for an estimator to give me a price to install some polystyrene insulation and soffiting under a small part of my building that hangs over the gangway, exposing the bottom of the building to the cold. Their estimator stopped by the house promptly, but informed me this was too small of a project for them and it would take a while to get it scheduled. He said to try and get a smaller handy man to do the work, but if I couldn't find anyone to call him back and they would squeeze me in.

Excellent job once completed. A bit uncoordinated as a 2 day job became a 3 day job. However it was worth it and the craftsmanship was great. Answered all my incessant questions.

Over the winter, the ceiling in my family room began to have water stains, and the paint began to blister. I contacted Nyberg Exteriors who responded quickly to my request for an estimate to determine the extent of the damage. I was pleasantly surprised, as I had contacted other companies that never even bothered to call me back. Within 48 hours, Andy came out to inspect the roof and provide an estimate. Within days he had it repaired. I am so happy to find someone I can have full confidence in. He provided an honest evaluation of the issue, and repaired the roof, charging $75 for a minor problem.

Ted from Nyberg Exteriors was very responsive to my initial requests for estimates. I obtained multiple estimates for this work. During the course of obtaining estimates I had many questions and emailed them to the various companies. Nyberg's price was much lower than the highest estimate and only slightly higher than the lowest. I decided on Nyberg because I felt they would do the best job overall, and because Ted was by far the most helpful and responsive to my emails. I was not disappointed. The crew that did the work was very experienced and professional. They did excellent work, and put in long days to get everything done. The best way I can describe them is that they are old world craftsmen who have embraced and become experts at modern techniques. There was one minor issue with some of the material, but Ted bent over backwards to make everything right. I am thrilled with the results. Our house now looks absolutely fabulous and I highly recommend Nyberg Exteriors.

The person who gave us the estimate came out within a couple of days even though this was their busy season. We waited ten days for the work to be done. The worker was polite, professional, and did a thorough job. We were told by another roofing company that the roof could not be repaired and wanted to sell us a completely new roof. Nyberg suggested repairing the areas and that we could get at least another couple of years out of the present roof. They saved us an immediate cost of several thousand dollars.

We showed Nyberg Exteriors the water spot on our kitchen ceiling where the leak was. Nyberg Exteriors went on the roof over the kitchen and told us we needed to replace the roof. They gave us a written estimate on the spot. We thought about it for a day or so, and then we agreed to have the work done. We signed the written proposal and sent it plus a check for $1,000 to Nyberg. Nyberg called us in a few days to schedule the work. The workers showed up on time and did a great job. They finished the work in a day.

Very responsive about answering my inquiry about an estimate and providing the estimate. The crew arrived on the day scheduled, installed part of the gutter but the remainder of the job was delayed due to rain. After I called to find out when they would be completing the job, they responded immediately with the message that the job would be completed in the next day or two. It actually took another day and the job was completed. It matches other gutters on our home exactly and the workmanship is very very good.

My experience with them was very good. I think they were easy to work with. They were good with negotiating and they did a good job. We are very satisfied.

It went great. Nyberg called to confirm when the workers were coming and shifted some of their workload to help with our leaky roof. To tear off and re-tile the roof took two days. The workers were very professional and quick. They did an amazing job of cleaning up, both after the first day and when the job was complete. We are very pleased with the final product, the quality of the job was great. I was surprised that such a great job could be completed so quickly. They replaced plywood when needed and replaced the venting. We were also pleasantly surprised that the final price was lower than the estimate.

Derek and Eugene handled this project. At first I did not like the way Eugene had combined the 2 runs of ducts because it was on the front of the house, and I am worried about curb appeal. I asked him to replace his hand fabricated solution with 2 manufactured connectors, which he did happily. I'm very glad I hired them to do this work, we were experiencing ice damming for the past 7 years, with the water running through the walls and exiting by dripping from the frames of our newly replaced windows. Despite all the snow we experienced last winter, I did not have ice damming at all! Problem solved. Also, the aluminum capping on the window trim is terrific, I no longer need to paint the wood. Maintenance free.

They were very good at what they did. They were very professional and they were reasonably priced. I would highly recommend them and use them again in the future.

It was a reasonably expensive quote. We wanted something but it seemed like they really wanted us to need something different. They were very polite and very nice. They were very promt.

They were very prompt and showed up on time. They did an excellent job. They cleaned up really well after themselves. They also got the job done very quickly.

My experience has been good overall because they are responsive and they have come when they said they would. They projected it would take about three days to do the job and they will finish tomorrow. They have done some gutter work and some shingle and the quality of work has been very good.

Based upon their excellent Angie's List rating, I called Nyberg and left a detailed message with information pertaining to roofing and siding repairs that I need done on my house. One week passed, with no return call or message from them, so I placed a second call. I was surprised to hear a new message on their answering machine, saying they were not performing any repair work at this time -- only new installations. Although their profile indicates they do repair work, I understand this is their prerogative. But I would've appreciated a return call, so I didn't waste a week in my efforts to find a roofing contractor.
