He was very professional. He actually went up and caulked a place where it was leaking and he just did that on his own for free.

Overall, the Andy and his crew were very pleasant, I thought their pricing was appropriate and the windows look great. There were a few minor hiccups along the way that were annoying. It took a couple of days for a salesperson to call me back in the first place. For our first appointment, Andy was 45 minutes late before he called to reschedule. I understand that things come up and he was ontime for our second appointment. It took longer than he said to get back to me with an estimate. The estimate was provided via email, which was nice. Andy was very pleasant and professional. I work from home and he patiently waited for me to finish my conference call to review the order with me in person. The windows look great - the crew was very nice. Unfortunately, the crew did not sweep up well after themselves when they left. There were bits of wood everywhere. I had to go through all 3 rooms with a broom and mop before the kids could come back in.

The workers showed up on time, did their job in a very professional manner, and finished on time. They cleaned up 95% of the mess they created. They were no surprise charges or delays.

We selected Nyberg Exteriors to replace the roof in our house in Mt. Prospect, and now we feel completely satisfied with the excellent work performed. We also appreciated the skills of his organized labor team which worked diligently to complete the job, leaving the premises clean and demonstrating great attitude at all times. Work quoted and performed was repairing our roof. Several shingles had broken or fallen during last winter and spring and we needed the roof fixed before this coming winter. Andy provided us with a written quote and was very prompt and took extra by fixing areas where the rain and snow had leaked and damaged our front porch ceiling. We appreciated his noticing the problem and fixed it for us.

I had been getting estimates for some gutter repairs and had Andy come out to give me an estimate for replacing one gutter and adding a new downspout. He followed up quickly with a emailed estimate which also included a price for replacing all the gutters as another option. His price for replacing all the gutters and downspouts was almost the same as the prices I had gotten from other contractors for just repairs. We decided to proceed with the new gutters.The day they were scheduled to start work it was raining. I like to be notified if people are coming to do work, but the crew came the next day without any notice. They didn't start until after noon and completed the work practically in the dark. I had some issues with the downspouts. Andy came out to discuss this and the crew came back a few days later to make the changes. We have had a lot of rain since then and no problems.

I first noticed a small leakage in the ceiling after a heavy rain. It seemed that the chimney needed repair as the concrete was cracked, the brick needed tuckpointing, and the flashing had come up and was loose. In addition, I had several missing shingles. I had received several estimates with cost of $1300 to repair the chimney and $2000 to replace it. Being unemployed, I was hoping we could get it repaired for something less expensive. Andy Nyberg arrived on time to review the work and discussed with me and my neighbor. Andy suggested repairing the chimney to last through the winter and estimated $125. The repairman came two weeks later as promised and spent about 2 hours on the roof doing the work. He was very courteous and professional, afterwards explaining exactly what he found on the roof and what repairs he did. I can see the chimney from the ground and he did a good job fixing it. I have not had any other leaks since the work was done.

The people who worked for this guy said that he was a great boss. That meant a lot to me because that meant they weren't being exploited and that they were happy. I think that made a difference in the job the did.

Unfortunately, I needed more of a general contractor as there were structural issues with my roof, but if I could have, I would have used Nyberg.

We have been very pleased with not only the repair, but their willingness to come out for estimates - always on time and always pleasant to work with. They seem very knowledgeable and proactive and willing to work with our budget - identifying areas that are in most urgent need of repair, and determining what things can wait. We plan to use them next spring when we replace the entire flat room and install new siding.

I had a leak at the base of my house that we thought was coming from the roofline. I called a roofer that I used in the past and they told me it would be $300 to come out to diagnose the problem so I looked on Angie's list and called Stuart. We made an appointment several weeks later as I was going to be out of town and he showed up on time. After looking at the issue and asking many questions he pinpointed the problem - the water was coming in through a light fixture - and suggested I get a handyman to fix it. He was prompt, polite and helpful. I will call him when my roof needs to be replaced for sure.

They were only ones who brought a ladder out to do the original bid. When we signed the contract, we knew exactly what we were getting. They completed the job in a timely manner and we are very pleased with the results.

The roofers came out first and completed the tear off and replacement in one day. They did a very nice job except a mess was left in my neighbors driveway for too long. My husband came home from work and found our neighbors property littered with the debris from tear off. They have animals and this could have been disasterous to them. My husband went over to neighbors property and cleaned up the mess himself. The boss told my husband that they would clean up at the end which is fine for our property but neighbors side was completed and should have been done immediately. Also, we had a small snafu with gutter placement with a small section and I called Andy and had the men come back on Monday and replace gutter and downspout placement. Everything was fixed to our satisfaction. Andy also apologized for the mess at my neighbors and I told him that its over and done with but it shouldn't happen to anyone else. He was very nice and accommodating.

I've never had the roof inspected since I bought the house several years ago, so called Nyberg based on positive reviews. I wanted to make sure there weren't any leaks or other problems I might not be aware of on the roof. Andy responded to my call very quickly and came out the next day to inpect the roof. It turns out that I don't actually need any repairs and my roof has a lot of life left in it. He didn't charge me, although I offered to pay him, and answered a lot of questions I had. I will definitely use this company when the time comes for any roofing repairs or a new roof, based on this experience.

We discussed as an association, and decided to have Nyberg back to give a proposal for a new roof. He called the morning that he was supposed to come out and stated that he didn't feel comfortable doing work on our building. Hello, he could have told me that when we scheduled the second appointment. All in all, I admire this company for being honest with us, but I was a little peeved about the missed second appointment and the last minute phone call.

They took off the old roof and put in a new roof. They did the whole thing in one day. They did what they said they would do and did not make a mess. I think they were a little expensive but I am not too sure because I have not paid for a roof job before. They came and checked the work and kept in touch with me. I don?t think I will get another roof done in my lifetime but if I do, I will use them.

Nyberg and their contractors were extremely professional, always prompt, courteous and a pleasure to work with. The two Nyberg team members, Andy and Arthur, were especially polite, timely and nice to deal with - they provided the quote and showed up the first day of work, and responded promptly when called. They were not present other days of work, and some of their contractors did not speak English to udnerstand some follow-up work that needed to be done. But when I called, Andy and Arthur showed up and had the team come back and complete the follow-up work without any complaint.

Project went well, on schedule and on estimate. Very good to work with.

Whenever it rained, we were concerned with the amount of water which was standing near the house and contacted Andy Nyberg for his opinion on the gutters. He returned my phone call promptly and came out to give an estimate. Andy emailed his estimate, we accepted it and he scheduled the work for a little more than 2 weeks later. The new gutters were installed with new downspouts and the remaining gutters were more aggressively pitched to govern the flow of water. We received an Angie's list discount and the work is guaranteed for 5 years.

They did a wonderful job and everything went well. They came when they said they would. They finished when they said they would and I would recommend them to anyone.

Called Nyberg, Andy stopped by within 24 hours, gave lowest bid, performed work within 1 week, no problems whatsoever, responsive to all inquiries, gave Angie's List discount. Would highly recommend.

However, his proposal was the highest of three. I solicited and he wanted a much largeer deposti than the other two. Also, he never followed up his proposal asking if I had any other questions.

Out of the few roofing companies that I did call, Nyberg Exteriors responded to me immediately. Andrew, their representative, was here right away to look at it and get an estimate out. He was personable and super great at his work. He lives in the neighborhood that I live in.

I liked everything about them. They were responsive. They even came out here this year because I needed them to look at it.
