Nyberg Exteriors

Terrific. I got prompt and detailed quotes with different options. My rep (I don't remember his name) was available by phone for questions. I got exactly what I wanted for my price point, and and very happy with the siding. They installers were quick, clean, and courteous. From what I've heard the price was right on target. But the service is just great.

The only complaint I could possibly have about Nyberg is I had the impression that the work was going to be done in 2 weeks, but it was more than a month before they were able to come out. When they came out it was too cold to do the roofing, and gutters. I liked many things about Nyberg. They were able to give me a complete detailed estimation immediately. I appreciated that, because I had to call other vendors to remind them to send a complete estimate. I had one contractor contractor give me an estimate on the back of his business card! In installing the windows they were very efficient and clean and totally professional. They weren't the cheapest estimate, but they weren' the highest either. I contacted 4 contractors. I will probably still have them do the roofing and gutters when it is warmer.

Stuart and his crew was professional and curtious. The bidding process went smoothly and we ultimately went with Nyberg out of an initial group of 5 vendors due to their competive pricing and professionalism. What was a large stressful project went very smoothly and if future issues come up we will definitely use them again.

Nyberg Exteriors (Andy) showed up on time for the appointment, did some measuring and provided and estimate within a couple days via email. He was not able to show me very much in the way of samples tho. I would have liked to have seen a little more of the different colors. His price quote was in the middle of the 3 quotes I got, but he said he could do it in 3 weeks. Since I was concerned about going into December with the project, I agreed to sign with him. It wound up being closer to 5 weeks until the work started, but they did a good job. We had to deal with some rain and cold weather, but the outcome was great. They uncovered a stained glass window that I asked them to look for that was in pistine shape, so I had them frame that out for an addtl charge. The 2 things on the down side were I wished they cleaned up better at the end of each day. There were little scraps of material in my basement stairwell and window boxes, but no big pieces. It just looked messy. The other thing was that they scratched up my front porch with their tools and boots that I had just restained at the end of the summer. I told them about it, and they agreed to re-paint it for me, which they did at the end of the job. The house looks amazing now and the quality of the work is very good. They finished just before the first snowfall!

I called first to get an estimate. They responded promptly. When I chose this company to do the work, they scheduled a time that was convenient to us both. They explained exactly what they needed to do, and gave me an estimate which included a couple different scenarios, all of which seemed very fair. The work was done promptly and their dealings with me were very professional.

I received four bids on this project. Nyberg Exteriors started at the top of the list since we had positive dealings with them before. Their bid was not the lowest, but their reputation swung the deal. Also, their upcharge for the heavy shakes was very reasonable and well worth it. Andy Nyberg was very helpful in describing the project and stayed on top of it at all times, communicating quickly if there were issues. In prepping and planning for the job, Andy pointed out a couple of things that could have caused problems: he suggested going with coated valleys and flashing colored to match the recent paint job we had done on the house and noted that any attempt to replace some of the flashing would have unavoidably wrecked the siding. Andy pointed out that the flashing was actually structurally sound, it was just stained with surface corrosion and looked unsightly. His solution was to overlay it with additional thin coated flashing that could slide up under the siding without damaging it. It now matches the rest of the house and looks really good. It was important for us to complete this project before the weather closed in and they were able to schedule it in just over a week and finish before Thanksgiving. The work crew was very diligent and the one day they could not work due to a wet roof, they fixed the lower dormers and the gazebo that they could reach with ladders thus keeping the project on schedule. Following job completion, I was hanging Christmas lights and I noted some of the gutters were filled with nails, wood, and sawdust washed off the finished roof. I called Andy and he sent a guy out immediately who thoroughly cleaned the gutters. When the roofers were finishing it was dark (and very cold) and obviously they couldn't see this, so I don't blame them. The essence of good customer service is not just about avoiding problems, it's about fixing them quickly and that's what Nyberg did. The roof looks fabulous. The heavy shakes were well worth the small upcharge and the finish is really good. Having your roof replaced is a pretty big thing and you don't want just anyone to do it. Nyberg Exterior's very high rating on Angie's List not only gives a guide to quality, it means that the contractor is going to work really hard to maintain it. And that's what they did.

They were very professional and courteous, but there price was rather high so we went with another company.

Great! We were very please with their work, professinalism and responsiveness. We had a problem with water coming in, between the siding and leaking into the basement. They came out, gave us their plan and followed up with a quote. We liked their ideas and their cost. They came out a few weeks later and finished the work. We found a little water still coming in and they came out the next day and fixed it completely with some caulk. VERY responsive. Both siding and masonry work was well done.

I had been told that I needed a new roof by another party. Ted Baldyga from Nyberg Exxteriors came out to look at my roof and give me an estimate. He told me that my roof had another 3-4 years on it and it didn't need to be replaced yet. I was very happy. His assessment concurred with another roofing company. I would go back to him again when I look for roofers.

After struggling with a half dozen other roofers for estimates and dealing with poor customer service, I finally found these guys at Nyberg. They are family owned outfit and everyone I came in contact with was extremely helpful and responsive. The guys that came to give me the estimate were great. They recommended the solar vent so that I wouldn't have to have an electrician come out and wire an electric powered vent. When done, they printed out an estimate from the truck and gave it to me on the spot...very nice. It was a two man crew that did all the work. They were very nice and very professional and did a very great job with everything. They cleaned up every day before they left and did an immaculate job of cleaning up when they were finished. I would highly recommend this company for exterior work as they are very professional, understand the value of good customer service, and were a welcome change from the fly by night companies that I saw doing roofs around the neighborhood. The price was fair and I was very comfortable that they were being honest and not taking me for a ride. Unlike the other roofing companies I encountered, they were not even interested in the estimate from my insurance adjuster. This was a good indication that they wanted to do the work for what they thought was a fair price as opposed to just mocking the adjusters quote.

I had four estimates for this work and was most impressed with Nyberg's. They were the only ones who mentioned having a ridge vent installed because they felt that we didn't have enough ventilation. Their price was competitive (or better) than the others. The repair of the flat roof was more complicated than first thought and they did a great job fixing all the problems. The work om the main roof was done when it was promised and completed in one day. The cleanup could have been a bit better. I would certainly use Nyberg in the future.

Everything went perfectly. It was on schedule and there were no problems. I did price the job out and they were the 3rd highest of 4 estimates, but they were all within range of each other. You are paying for quality, too.

Terrific. When we first called Andy(president), he came out the next day and provided us with a detailed written estimate on the spot. The next day we hired Nyberg to do the job. Within a week we had a five person crew doing the job. They showed up at 7:30, as promised by Andy and began work immediately. They worked hard all day long and finished the job by 6:30. I was surprised they did an entire re-roofing in one day especially since the building inspector required them to add some extras, which slowed them down a bit. I was also pleased that there were no extra charges involved. Clean up was great, even though it was dark when they were finishing up. The roof looks great. We are extremely pleased.

Andy and crew from Nyberg Exteriors were terrific. Andy arrived on time and gave a simple one page estimate for the job. We shared our horror story with a previous contractor and hesitation to have large services performed, but Andy gave examples of how his company has corrected issues in the past and assured us he stands behind his work. The crew was on time the day of the project and Andy stopped by with the permit as well as instructions for his team. His team took the time to protect the house and plants (only one plant was damaged) and worked throughout the 90 degree heat without complaint. They worked from 8am-7pm and did a fantastic job cleaning up after themselves; they walked around in teams after each other to pick up anything the other one may have missed. It rained a couple of days later and we had a small leak in the house. We left Andy a message and he stopped over the same day to take a firsthand look. We weren't home so he left a card, followed up with a call, and sent his repair specialist the next day to check and fix the leak. Having had a bad contractor before, we were relieved that Andy kept his word and the leak was resolved. We have no doubt that if we would experience a leak next year, that Andy would still service us without issue. He's responsive, friendly, and easy to work with. Definitely would recommend Nyberg Exteriors and use him again.

Job date was uncertain due to scheduling conflicts, but we were kept "in the loop". Job completed in 1 day. Work area was left clean. Roofing looks good, with some small variations that will smooth over under summer sun. Have not had any rain, so it is hard to evaluate the ultimate performance of the roofing system as installed.

I decided to not go with them since they missed a few things that other companies had on their estimates and Nyberg did not. The 2 guys that gave me the estimate I then saw working for another company and they ended up giving me another quote from another company they were working for.

Called Andy Nyberg after a 35ft limb fell on my roof a month ago. It punctured a hole through the shingles and underlying plywood. Andy sent Mark to do the repairs, which he did with thoughtfulness and thoroughness. Beyond repairing the one hole and replacing shingles, Mark caulked some shingles that were cracked but still had intergrity plus he pointed out an area on my chimney where the caulk was missing and he caulked that also. Blew the entire roof clean of leaves and twigs and cleaned up the site. There cannot be better service available that Nyberg Exteriors; Andy Nyberg is a man of his word.

Ted came out for an estimate promptly and gave me an estimate on the spot. I had several estimates and Neyberg was competitive. 2 guys came out and did a great job. They took their time with out rushing it. It took about 15 hours or so to complete the job. We have an average ranch home. Superb quality work!

We had a patch of shingles that we could see sliding and coming loose. I called 4 roofing companies to come out and give us estimates - only 2 showed up. The first, quoted $1,900.00 after walking around the house (did not get up on the roof) and apparently finding many additional problems. Then, Andy Nyberg came out and gave us an estimate of $150, but didn't get up on the roof either. When his repairman came to do the work, he did examine the rest of the roof and also repaired the flashing on the chimney and repaired and reinforced another area we were unaware of that was causing a leak (we thought it was the upstairs shower.) I was very concerned that the invoice would come in a lot higher, but Andy still billed us the $150.00, just as he'd estimated. Nyberg was incredibly professional in all aspects. They called back the same day and showed up on time for the estimate and the work. They gave us an price and stuck with it even though they did additional work. I couldn't be happier with this place. I just wish we'd had them put on the roof originally, instead of our general contractor. I would HIGHLY recommend Nyberg and will definitely use them again in the future without hesitation.

They were excellent. They took down all the aluminum siding and replaced it with quarter inch greenboard installation board. They replaced all the aluminum siding with insulate vinyl siding. It was very nice. They also re-trimmed all my windows with aluminum and re-trimmed my doors so I don't have to paint ever again. They went the extra mile with what they thought would be the best fit for my house, which was finish the windows properly, the trim around them and put on a very good quality vinyl insulated siding. It has changed the whole interior of my house by the exterior work they did. They made it quieter in my house and it feels a whole lot tighter. I trusted them. They were cheaper. They were highly recommended on Angie's List. They had great reviews from what I read on Angie's List. When they came out they did not try to muscle me on the whole thing. They asked me what it would take to get my business. I told them what it would take and they met those demands. When they were done they did an outstanding job and if I had any trouble or things I thought they could repair and make better, they did it.

Nyberg Exteriors did a wonderful job, Andy was very patient with me in explaining what needed to be done and what the costs involved were. They worked quickly and cleaned up all the roofing materials, completing the job in one day. I had several roofing companies out to give me estimates and Nyberg stood out in value and customer service.

Excellent work by a great company. Came out to do an estimate. Was on roof for about 30 minutes before stating what they thought the problem was. Came out when they said they would and did the work fast and cleaned up after themselves.

We had used Nyberg a few years ago when we had a small leak. They were responsive and fixed the problem without charging us exorbitantly. Our roof was damaged in a recent hailstorm. I called Andy who came out and inspected our home and garage roofs and confirmed our suspicions that they needed to be replaced along with the gutters and downspouts. The All-State adjuster agreed and approved replacement. I received an estimate which I felt was reasonable and scheduled the service after picking out shingles. The process started on time and finished when it was supposed to finish. Andy always responded to my calls or e-mails with any questions. The workers were polite and hard-working and cleaned everything up. Andy inspected the process at the end and fixed a few minor things that were not up to his standards. I have recommended them to 2 neighbors and would use again

Our salesman, Ted, was very good at communication. He was quick to answer our questions and come back with different quotes based on our different suggestions. He even replied via email at 1am to an emailed request for information. The quote was very price competitive. The work was scheduled and performed with professionalism. We were very happy with the overall result.
