I found them on Angie’s List. Andrew Nyberg is the owner. They were the first company that came out and went up the roof to look at the problem. The other companies stayed on the ground and did not go up the roof. They gave me a good experience. The work that they did was excellent. I spent $750 on the job. They discussed the problem - what it could be; if it was coming from the wall; what can be done; etc. They explained everything in detail. They were professional and punctual. The price was excellent. I would use them again in the future.

Andy and team gave us a competitive quote, scheduled the work, and sent out a crew to do the work. The two-man crew took their time to do a good job. We would have preferred to know how many days would be required ahead of time. They also came back when I found a couple spots where they missed some caulking. We are happy with the job and our house looks great. We would use Nyberg again for future projects.

I was incredibly impressed with Andy Nyberg from Nyberg Exteriors. He was prompt, polite and was interested on getting a handle on the unusual problem I was having from the start. I had been told earlier by another contractor, I was facing a roof leak, which would have been very expensive to say the least to repair. Andy Nyberg informed me after he inspected the roof that there was no leaks in the roof, and in fact the roof was in good shape and should last another 10 to 15 years. What great new!. He was honest, concerned and a man who obviously believes in doing what is right for the customer, and not for his pocket. I have to say he is the first business owner I have meet that thinks this way. He finished doing minor repairs for a modest $75 when I was convinced I was going to be paying thousands. Thank you Andy Nyberg and I will be seeing you in the future for any future work i will be needing.

Overall, I was very satisfied. The roofers did a great job on the roof and also did a good job of being clean. The only issue was that it look a long time to get us on the schedule. This is a good sign--they are very busy and have a lot of customers.

I had one problem. I had nine guys here and some were relatively new, at one point when it was raining few weeks back the electrician who was working noticed and asked me why there was some damn mess up there along the plywood. I was not sure whether it was from the air-conditioner. Then when I checked the air-conditioner it was not from that. When the rain started coming on the next day it was pouring and it was actually coming to my new shingles and what happened was that the flashing wasn’t done correctly. I called them and they came next day and repaired it right away. I haven’t had any problems since then. I also had siding work done too the same time and I think that they should have made sure that when you tie into an another roof one should always make sure that the flashing around it is adequate to make sure that water runs out adequately and unfortunately that wasn’t done. I was impressed with their job as there was few questions that I had that they did other than that I would still recommend them.

Nyquist was wonderful to work with. For both the estimate and the actual roofing replacement, they were on time and very professional. Their quote was the best when including their scope of work offered, their price, and their Angie's list discount. We would recommend this company to others requiring residential roofing services.

To expand on above, within a week the owner came out & evaluated the job & while the weather was good Mark was there doing the job over 2 full days. He removed the damaged roof & replaced it & put flashing around the chimney & then installed 10 larger soffit vents. He took care of removing all old materials. We were very satisfied with the competency & professionalism of both the owner & Mark & the work performed.

After giving me an estimate of the cost of the insurance claim, Nyberg and I negotiated the cost of some extra work I wanted done. Also, they were able to find aluminum siding that matched the color of the existing siding almost exactly (It is difficult to do so because vnal siding is the standard now - aluminum siding is expensive). Because it was a special order, it took a few weeks to obtain the siding but Nyberg's folks were available when I called them to check the status. When the siding came in, they started right away and the folks they sent over were exceptional - absolutely exceptional!! They took their time, both with the tyveck and the siding adding fasteners to the tyveck when required by the building inspector and doing not only a beautiful job with the siding but adding some extras (like framing in the patio door using the aluminum siding) that weren't called for in the contract. And, after each day's work, they cleaned up the back yard so there were no scraps and trash. A very professional job. Thank you Nyberg!!!

Overall, the project went extremely well. Before hiring Andy, I secured estimates from about three other contractors. The other estimates helped me understand various options for shingle types (they vary widely by quality, price, shape, thickness, color), price ranges, and the services/warranties of different contractors. Coincidentally, a colleague from my office, who recently purchased a home, had his roof re-shingled. I asked him who did the work and he mentioned Andy, adding that Andy is "A" rated on Angie's List. With his referral and strong Angie's List ratings, I decided to have Andy come to our house to provide an estimate Andy was punctual, knowledgable and professional. His estimate was the lowest price all of contractors. My sense is that his company, Nyberg Exteriors, effectively controls overhead through simplifying estimates, trimming bureaucracy, and hiring efficient employees. Beyond price, however, I had confidence that Andy's team would deliver high quality work. His many years of experience in roofing, friendly demeanor, and the referral from colleague/Angie's List built my confidence. Once I emailed the signed estimate, Andy quickly put the gears in motion. He custom-ordered the shingles and informed me that the wait time was about three weeks. When three weeks passed, he kept me informed that there was a delay. My only disappointment, and this is minor, was that Andy did not provide a little more explanation for the delay. When I emailed him, however, Andy quickly explained that a week's worth of rain had created a backlog. After that delay, Andy phoned me and said that his team would be at our house the next day. The installation went extremely well and required two days. On day #1, Andy's team removed shingles from half the roof and replaced those shingles. The next day it rained, per the forecast, so we had a one-day hiatus. On installation day #2, his team removed shingles from the second half of the roof and replaced the shingles. I was pleased by how well Andy planned for the weather and kept our roof completely the rain. As I look at our roof a week after installation, I am highly pleased. The shingles are precisely laid out and flat, the valleys blend perfectly with the shingles and look crisp, and the flashing around the chimney looks perfect. Hiring Andy was one of the better decisions I have made through the five houses I have owned, and I would recommend his work to anyone.

Andy is very personable and easy to talk to. He patched a leak in my roof for half of what other contractors quoted. I would highly recommend them!!

They did a good job and it was very nice work. They were very professional. They cleaned up after the work was done. They helped me jump a car to get it out of the way. They did a good job all around and it looks nice.

The work was completed as scheduled. Andy gave me the least expensive quote out of 3 roofers. I have a 12/12 pitch roof and this guy walked on it like it was a dance floor.

Nyberg Exteriors was selected based on Angie's list rating and their responsiveness. Andy Nyberg came out almost immediately while another firm couldn't get to us for at least a week. His price seemed fair enough, such that I did not even wait for other bidders. I had a sense that I could trust him and I was correct. All work was performed as promised. Andy even helped me file a claim against the manufacturer of the old shingles recognizing them as ones that were under a class action suit. This is the way the system should work; excellent businessmen rewarded and Angie's list playing a really important role as consumer watchdog. I dreaded dealing with a roofer as much as a used car salesman but it was a fine experience. I will recommend Nyberg to anyone and I will certainly use them at he next opportunity.

Andy came to give his estimate when my insurance adjusted was here. He helped the adjuster determine extend of wind/hail damage. Adjuster and I was impressed by Andy's professionalism. He was responsive and competitively priced. The Roof turned out great. The crew were very hard working and the results were high Quality. I have recommended them to a friend.

His behavior was very professional. He was very honest. He had a guy out a day or two later to do the job.

They are fantastic. We had some rain and hail damage. They were excellent especially a guy named Andy, he did a spectacular job. Before we made a commitment with them and after we paid them we had some problems and they came over the same day and corrected everything. The job was covered by insurance. They had to replace the whole roof and all the sidings. They were friendly and they were personable. They were competent. My wife is not a happy person when somebody is not doing everything absolutely perfectly and she was perfectly satisfied with them. Their price was very competitive and it was less than the insurance company estimated. A few days after we paid them we realized that one of the downspouts was not done correctly and they came over the same day. This is after we paid them that they came and repaired it. Their responsiveness was fantastic and incredible. Everything was great. I would use them again and I would recommend them to my friends, family and anybody.

Andy was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. We are extremely satisfied with the look of the fascia - the two workmen did an excellent job! A strip over the garage was a little "wavy" and they replaced it before we even got a chance to mention it. The worker told us he didn't like the way it looked. That was very impressive! During the job, we decided to add an additional side of the house for the replacement of fascia. The additional cost was reasonable, and although the product had to be custom ordered, they returned promptly to finish the job as soon as the material arrived. The gutters did not work properly at first, but they addressed the problem immediately and found a solution to a 20 year old problem! The roof shingles did not match exactly (20 year old shingles), but the roofer did a good job matching and placing the shingles to minimize the difference. The house looks great and we are very happy with everything that Nyberg did here! We would HIGHLY recommend this company. Andy is a very nice guy and super easy to work with! It is clear that he cares about his customers!

I called Andy Nyberg to make an appointment for an estimate. He was very nice, and arrived on time. He did an assessment of our situation. He told me that they did not do skylights, but could refer me to another company. Andy told me that we should have an estimate for our roof repairs in a couple of days. We never heard from them again.

I did not like this experience-- need better telephone manners.

Stuart Nyberg and his team never cease to amaze me. Over the years I have been using them, they ALWAYS show the highest degree of professionalism (return calls quickly, arrive on time, etc.), which is in itself an unexpected delight these days. But they most remarkable thing of all is that I trust them. Completely. We have a residential, flat-roof 2-flat, and a pair of connected mixed use commercial flat-roof 2-flats--all of which are over 100 years old. The first time I called Stuart, I told him I was afraid I needed a new roof. In my mind, that's pretty much the open invitation to many service providers to say, "yep, you're right, you need a new rood and it's going to cost $15,000." Instead, Stuart told me we needed a $50 repair. Most recently I called because we got quite a bit of water in from our roof hatch during and after the recent mega hail storm. Stuart was out of town, but one of his guys--Martin, came right over to assess the problem. Again, I was expecting to be told we had massive hail damage and needed a new roof, and was thrilled we just needed a new roof hatch cover, and to build the walls up a bit. For years now, Stuart has been telling me our roof has a few more years. ;-) I know that someday he will say it's time, and he will absolutely be our first choice. As for our commercial buildings, we have had leaks where they are joined since we bought them 8 years ago. We have tried repeatedly to fix them using the roofer we 'inherited' when we bought the buildings. When they started to leak again after our rainy July, I demanded we bring Stuart and his team in. Problem solved. I cannot recommend Stuart and Nyberg roofing highly enough. A++++++++++++++++++++

The workers were friendly, quiet and respectful of our schedules. They cleaned up well and fixed the walls that were inevitably damaged by replacing the windows. We had several other quotes; some that insisted that vinyl was the better product- which is frankly- not true. It is certainly more cost effective. Nyberg, however, gave us the option of going with whatever dealer of windows we wanted, as they only did the labor installing the windows. They did suggest several window dealers in the area that we could check out. ( do note that window dealers do not tell you how much a window costs) Nyberg was reliable in that they were not pushing any one product. We are glad we went with them. There were minor glitches and problems along the way, but we expected that. I wish there was a cheaper alternative still, but having compared several different companies, I am confident in endorsing Nyberg as a fairly priced company with good work ethic.

Great experience with Nyberg. The siding work was done quickly and looks great. We were not in any hurry to get the work done, so the fact that they were very busy this summer and did not get to our job right away was no problem at all. Overall, Nyberg's crew exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail was excellent.
