Although we share the same surname, we are not related. So my praise of this company is true and honest. They could not have been better. Puntual, hard working 10 hours the first day (on the first 80 degree day) and 2 hours the next day (on the 2nd 80 degree day). The work is a thing of beauty and having had more torrential rains last night works perfectly

I don't remember the time frame of when I called and when they came to give an estimate but it wasn't very long. They assessed the reason for the leak which was coming through the roof due to exposed nails on the shingles. Another contractor came and also inspected the roof and told us he could do a "band-aid" repair for over $500, or he could do a complete repair and replace two bundles of shingles for approximately $1,700. Another contractor said he charged $75.00 for an estimate which would apply to the total charge if we used him. We decided to go with the Nyberg Exteriors for $360 - they inspected and resealed any exposed nails on the ridgevent and on the shingles. They also resecured the loose fascia section on the right side of the house. Since that time we have had several downpours of rain and hail and the roof does not leak! We appreciate their honest assessment and good work and if the need arises we will call only them.

This roofing project was one of the main reasons I joined Angie's List. I had been unable to get a good reference from any neighbors, so I went in search of companies that work in the area that received consistent good reviews for quality of work and for fair pricing. Andy and Arthur contacted me very shortly after I sent my inquiry through Angie's LIst. They made an appointment to meet me at the property at a time that was convenient for me. They arrived promptly at the designated time, talked to me about what I wanted, then went up on the roof to measure and take a look around. In a few minutes they were handing me a printed estimate (complete with an Angie's List discount). I felt very confident that I had found the right company for the job. The crew arrived at the appointed date and time, then started work almost immediately. Andy and Arthur came on sight to make sure everything was done to spec. A truck with a crane arrived and loaded pallets of the shingles on the roof. From start to finish, the tear off was completed, the new roof was on, and the crew had used a special magnet on wheels to sweep the area for any roofing nails, etc. The entire project took 3.5 hours. My neighbors were impressed! The gutter crew came a couple days later. The measured and installed all new gutters with downspouts according to the map we provided. I was not home when they finished, but the next I noticed a couple areas I wanted checked out. My biggest concern had to do with the flat roof. Now that the new gutters are at the proper pitch to drain, the area where the old gutters were attached to the roof did not look as good as possible. Andy and Arthur came over within hours of receiving my text to review the situation with me. Within a few minutes they had made a downspout adjustment and checked out the area where the flat roof meets the house. They are sending out a crew to touch up the area on the flat roof that was behind the old gutters. I really appreciate the fair price, quality of materials, quality of workmanship, and responsiveness to the customer that Nyberg Exteriors has provided throughout this process. I highly recommend this company.

After comparing a couple of estimates, this company knew exactly how to fix the leak and had a reasonable estimate. I felt confident when they explained how they would fix the leak (that had been occurring for years and had not been permanently fixed by any previous attempts to repair it). They knew to take off a certain section of siding, replace flashing of the window that was actually above the leaking window and replace the drip edge of the leaking window. It's been dry for the past six months, so I think we got a good fix. Great experience

Our house is an 1974 Victorian with a large wrap around porch and a skylight on the third floor that was put in by the previous owners. We had had repeated problems with the skylight leaking and had had it repaired many times without success. The seal has kept dry since the Nyberg repair. The repair to the porch roof was a little bit complicated because it was difficult to find the exact source of the leak. Nyberg did a great job finding and fixing the problem. We were doing a number of repairs to the porch and repainting the house, so it was important to have Nyberg finish on schedule, which they did. We would definitely use them again.

Nyberg came out and gave a fair estimate for my roof. I have decided to go with them for the roofing.

Our condo building's garage roof was leaking after a big storm. I called Nyberg Exteriors and left a message that we needed a quote. Stuart returned my phone call within the hour, listened to what our issue was, and we set up a day for him to come out and give us an estimate. Since we were not able to meet him personally, he assessed the situation and called us back with his opinion of the work that needed to be done and what it would cost us. He pointed out that our garage really needs to be tuck pointed in areas where it's basically caving in and the roof needs to be replaced. To do it right, they should be done at the same time. I asked him to send a copy of this quote which he soon thereafter did. Our association agreed that this work needs to be done but we would hold off at this point. Stuart was very professional and efficient and we will definitely consider Nyberg when we decide to have the work done.

Overall excellent experience. Very flexible in setting up service. Spoke to Mr Nyberg himself. Worked around rain so willing to come twice. Worked completed and well done. Thanks

Of the 4-5 companies I have asked for a quote, they are still the only ones to respond after reviewing property. Though the job was out of their abilities, at least they informed me of this quickly. I wish the other companies provided the same.

We contacted Nyberg for a complete tear off roof replacement for our 1987 home. Our roof is original. We received our estimate by email within a week as expected. The estimate did not include detail about what brand and model would be included. We found another company that was more informative and proactive.

Nyberg came out and did an estimate on our roof repair. Their estimate was one of three I had done and came in at the most reasonable price while still doing all the things that the other estimates mentioned. They were nothing but courteous and professional on the phone and by email and had no problems at all answering my numerous questions about what needed to be done and why. The work is scheduled to be done in the next couple weeks and I plan to submit an updated review once it is complete. I called them based on their numerous excellent reviews and expect to be adding another one soon!

I?d like to express my sincere gratitude to Andy for his flexibility in coming to my home to perform a roof inspection during an extremely busy period recently. Andy inspected my cedar shake roof free of charge(which I didn?t expect) and was very honest and forthright about the roof not needing repair at this time. He also provided my some great advice in caring for my roof. Although my roof did not require any repairs, I look forward to doing business with Nyberg exteriors in the future.

Got a quote, but have not done the work. They were very professional when the salesman came, he understood my problem, and was clear in what in professionally tought should be done. Will keep them in mind for this work at later date

Setup time to get estimate. They showed up on time and were very professional. Proposed what it would take to complete the project and how they thought it would best be done. All of the information provided sounded reasonable. Provided a quote back to me very timely that detailed the steps necessary for the project and costs associated. Price seemed high, and based on other estimates seems to be a bit up there. Work has yet to be performed, but due to price, hesitant to use.

I called Nyberg and left a message requesting help with a small leak in my roof. Frankly, I did not expect a response because I knew the job was likely very small. But, to my surprise I got a return call within 24 hours. We got an appointment scheduled for several days out. Andy called to ask if he could arrive early which worked well for me and they showed up on time. They quickly assessed the problem and saw that there were a number of small holes made in the roof (likely by a painter using a support board). They patched up the holes right then and just asked for "lunch money". I am moving to a new house and will definitely call them for any roof issues.

Excellent - everything was handled as expected. Roof inspection confirmed we are ok for now, but will need to replace roof soon. Very pleased that this was not pushed hard - we got an honest assessment, we can wait a year or two before replacement is needed. Appreciate the honesty, and also the work clearing out the remains of our antennae was excellent.

They were very responsive. The owner contacted my husband the same day when we called to enquire about somebody coming out to look at the roof. He sent somebody out within a day. We had used them before so we've had another good experience with them. We would definitely use them again for future, either for repair work or possibly for a complete roof reinstallation. Their price was good.

The initial work was good but they seem to have no interest in doing more.

Got water leaking around the fireplace after a severe storm. Called another company first that also had a very high rating on Angie's list, however they could only come 3 weeks later. Then found Nyberg Exteriors and called, Andy came the next day. He quickly found the problem and the quote was well below what I was expecting. The problem was fixed the next business day after I confirmed the proposed estimation. Well the day after the repair there was another rain, I was warm and dry :). Cannot recommend them more.

He quoted both standard shingles and architechnical grade shingles. He didn't push me for the architechnical shingles. Everyone was great. Clean up was good. The workers were professional. He put in two bathroom vents as part of the job. I am absolutely pleased. He was clear and communication was fast. He met and exceeded expectations.

Andy and his team were top notch from beginning to end. I had multiple issues that I needed taken care of and Andy assured me that they would be done and done right. I had them reroute 2 bathroom exhaust fans and run them up and thru the roof. They installed new vents with baffles and a insulated 4" exhaust lines. They sealed off the old vents with new plywood, ice/watershield and new shingles. Repaired some flashing on my chimney and removed an old satellite dish bracket. Caulked up all the remaining holes and cleaned up. No issues whatsoever and will use them in the future for any roofing/siding needs.

We discussed replacing the entire roof, but there was no hard sell, which I appreciated. Mr. Nyberg is very personable, professional, and responsive.

It went very well. The only point that could have been better was communication, but it turned out to be minor as in the end they always did contact us. Both the roof and siding work crews did not speak English, either at all or spoke broken English, but in the end everything worked out. When I couldn't quite understand things, the lead of both crews called the owners right away to clear things up. The house and garage had both sustained hail damaged from a storm in May 2012. Before calling our insurance, we got 3 estimates telling each to please check for hail damage and that we would be filing an insurance claim. Nyberg Exteriors was the only one that gave estimates for everything (roof, siding, gutters, soffit/fascia), even though we thought we would only be replacing the roof of the house and garage. After calling our insurance in October, they came out to assess the damage, which to our surprise included the roof, siding, gutters, and soffit/fascia on the house and garage. We didn't realize that the hail damage had been so extensive. Through our claim they told us what they would cover and the total cost. Based on that, we figured out what work we would have done. Since Nyberg gave a comprehensive estimate, i figured that they have had experience with hail damage before; the other 2 companies gave a quote only for the roofs as we asked. I also felt that they were formal and professional in their demeanor. On the first day, they called after 9am to say that it was too windy and would start the next day. I was wondering why no one had arrived and made a call. It would have been good if they had called to let me know what was going on. It turned out that they were waiting to see if the wind would die down, but it didn't and it was too windy to be working on a roof. They finished the house and garage roofs in 3 days. With the garage roof, there were places where the wood had rotted and needed to be replaced, and they added 2 vents for ventilation which adds to the life of the roof. While the house roof was being done, one of the owners came by and during our conversation pointed out that they use the proper architectural shingles for the roof peak, which is much thicker than what many roofers use to save money, which is the 3 play shingles, and he pointed to some neighboring houses and I could definitely see the difference. I felt they used good materials and did a very good job. Then the siding crew arrived. They were quite experience and worked very well. The 3 dormers had roofing shingles instead of siding (something that is very common). They were all replaced with vinyl siding and they look terrific. The house gutters were replaced and the old downspouts were replaced with over-sized downspouts, as well as adding one more for better drainage. Then they moved to the garage where they replaced the old siding with vinyl siding, like the house dormers, and had to do a custom job of making the top of the garage door opening look level. When it was originally remodeled it wasn't done correctly and the middle of the opening sagged. They couldn't do anything about that so with the siding they were able to make the siding level, so now the garage door opening looks much better. We were very satisfied with the work and when they came to pick up the final payment, both owners of the company came to make sure that everything was fine. There were a couple of very minor things which they correct right then. We would definitely use them again.

I was impressed with their attention to detail. I compared Nyberg to two other contractors through the bid process. Not only was Andy's quote lower he used better quality materials.
