Nyberg Exteriors was excellent. I would highly recommend them. I would use them in the future.

Now I have to waste my time again to tell other Angies List customers about the lie.

We did the usual process of requesting three bids. Nyberg wasn't the cheapest, but the bid was more detailed than the others. After discussions with the three contractors, I came away with a better feeling from Nyberg. Andy and Petr were very clear in defining expectations and they met them. Their crew came to work on time, worked a full day and cleaned up after themselves. The project wrapped up in a timely fashion. Now a year later, I am still happy about their work.

Overall satisfied, had to come back to straighten out an area, which they did with no problem. Not the most complicated roofing job ever done, but not an average roof either.

Andy Nyberg responded promptly to a telephone message and provided an estimate that was within the ballpark of two other estimates. The workers appeared when Andy said they would and completed the job within a day or so. However, upon examination and reflection (one can see the garage roof from the stairwell), there was a portion of the work that was unsatisfactory as far as I was concerned. I called Andy (he had already been paid) and expressed my dissatisfaction. Even though I was headed out of town, Andy appeared the next day to check out the roof. When I returned on Sunday, the roof had been redone to my complete satisfaction with no hassle and no additional charges. So I am very satisfied and would use them again and do recommend Nyberg Exteriors without reservation.

Very professional and responsive to my questions. Very patient as I worked out all the home insurance details with my insurance company and mortgage lender. Price was on the higher side as compared with other quotes, especially since they were able to re-use some of the siding materials but I chose Nyberg because of their professionalism.

Price, communication and outcome excellent . Took a while on a calendar basis as potential rain - for a rip off and replace - slowed things down but the work was highest quality and clean and the crew worked 11-12 hour days to get it done quickly. Very happy

It went great. The work was done well, fast, and at a fair cost. Marek went out of his way to work with our schedule and we havent had any issues with any of the work performed.

Nyberg Exteriors came highly recommended and even exceeded our expectations. The importance placed on quality was obvious from the president (Andy) on down through each of the 6-7 crew members. They met estimated times (less than 2 days for a new roof) - focused on the job resulting in incredible output - cleaned up thoroughly - and were a pleasure to have around.

Once they got there, it went very well. We had originally called them in March but, due to vacations, the work couldn't be started until April. Shortly after the work was completed, we had a fierce storm that blew through Chicago all day. We discovered a new leak and they came right away, found the source and fixed it. All in all, I'm very pleased with the work that they did and can't complain about the price, since having the roof completely torn off and redone would have cost us nearly 3x as much.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Nyberg Exteriors. Andy and Arthur are professional and punctual from the very beginning. When they came out to give a quote, I had a printed out quote before they left. They answered all of our questions (and we had a lot) patiently and explained the process well. They were accessible by phone and email, and were very conscientious about updating the proposal with each change we made so that we were clear on the scope of the project. Although there were a few things along the way that took them more time and effort than they had anticipated, we were not presented with extra changes for the trouble. There were a few delays in starting for reasons beyond their control (our issues with other contractors, and weather). However, once they started, the roof was completely torn off and replaced within one day. Siding and windows started the very next day, and only took about 10 days. They also installed a new front door which we purchased from Home Depot but they picked up from the store so we didn't have to worry about delivery. They hauled away debris from the roof in a dump truck so we didn't have to worry about a dumpster. The old siding that they pulled off was stacked neatly in the backyard (and covered with tarps) for a few days, but was hauled away within a few days. Throughout the project, everyone who worked on our house was professional and friendly. The workers arrived before 8am and stayed all day. Work progressed at a steady pace the whole time. We got 5 quotes on this project. Nyberg Exteriors wasn't the cheapest, but their price seemed fair and working with them much smoother than I would have expected for a job of this size.

I would use them again in a minute. I compared them to two other roofers and one of them had beaten the price tremendously and the other one came in just under the other one's price. So I was extremely pleased.

We had a leak in our dining room ceiling that will hopefully be fixed from their work. It has only been one week, so we will have to wait and see if it works long term. I can't rate the quality yet, because we haven't yet had another rain storm to see if the leak is fixed.

We used Nyberg for our tear down roof replacement several years ago. They were wonderful to work with, very informative, always let us know what days they would be working, and clean up was great. So when the metal flew off our gutter recently, I called Nyberg. They were true to their estimate. I trust them.

They did a very good job at a very good price. Their follow up is not as good but I have no problems with my roof.

I'd been ignoring a sporadic leak in my garage for a while, I finally had to act when part of the ceiling fell! I came across Nyberg Exteriors and another company on Angie's List. Andy Nyberg promptly responded to my call, stopped by and inspected the roof. Not finding any visible damage, he suggested a $75 service call to caulk seams in the shingles where water may be pooling. He promptly did the work personally. We've been through several strong storms since, and my roof problem has been solved. Nyberg Exteriors was responsive, professional and fair, I recommend them.

I have not been so impressed with Nyberg Exteriors. They have high remarks on Angie's List so I called them. They came prompt to me after I called and they seem professional. I just don't think that they are very good in follow-up because they sent a quote which is not detailed and I don;t think their price is competitive. I sent an email asking for more detail and they never returned the email. The initial response to come out was an A but then they never had any follow-ups or detailed information.

Stuart was very friendly, helpful, and informative. The guys showed up on time, they were pleasant, cleaned up after themselves, and did a thorough job. The job was completed in a timely manner and within the estimate. Wish we found these guys sooner!

The tear off was prompt and went smoothly. The old roofing material was deposited in a dump truck parked in the driveway. The flora around the house was protected with drop clothes. My shingled roof was completed within one day. A smaller crew arrived the next day to put a special coating on the flat roof addition in the rear. These workers were very conscientious and polite. However, they smoked outside during breaks. Not a good thing from my point of view. They had a couple of spots where they tracked some coating but were quick to clean them up as best possible. Several roofing nails from the tear off appeared from time to time in the drive way after the job was completed. I would recommend them highly.

It went great. Andy and his helper came out right on time. After looking at the roof they determined that the problem was some loose shingle nails and some that were not sealed. They corrected it in 10 minutes. For free. He did mention that in about 2 or 3 years the roof will need to be replaced but it is fine for now. Ill certainly will call them when it's time to redo our roof. How refreshing to deal with a contractor who is honest and fair.

What nice men!! Honest to goodness, genuine and kind people. Rare in the world of sales and service. I had some particulars I wanted built into my contract, nothing serious, but they accommodated me without question. Their emails with revised contracts were prompt. I had no idea what shingles we had used previously. Andy and Aurther came to my house, went on the roof, took a picture of the shingles on the lower roof and went out in search of them so the two roofs would match. the roof looks absolutely beautiful! BTW, I chose roofers, all from Angies List, all with 5 stars. I liked the Nyberg the best in all departments: price, personality, willingness to accommodate my requests, timeliness. One company was 3,000. more and I asked the same of them. Crazy! Let me say, I cannot recommend these guys enough. You must use them. They are sincerely nice men who happen to do beautiful work at a fair price. What more could you ask for?

Mom left us a large flat roof on a residential home dangerously close to causing major structural damage. One call to andy nyberg was all it took to get our problem solved quickly. Next day after my call andy was out evaluating our roof and giving my brother and I a very complete. reasonable quote and informing us that he had a special crew dealing with flat roofs. Andy and his hardworking crew provided us great service. Andy was there every day to to check all phases of this large project and assure our complete satisfaction. Never experienced such wonderful professional service on a roofing project. Never knew roofing could be so much fun!!

It went very very well from beginning to end. Andy Nyberg was incredible. Has to be one of the nicest contractors I have ever dealt with. Could not have been more accommodating on timing, advice, pricing. He helped with advice on roof color, size of downspouts, pricing as it related to other quotes I received. I would not hesitate to recommend him. *** UPDATE****.3 months later I had a gutter that needed to be cut shorter. WITHIN A DAY ANDY CAME AND FIXED IT. He is THE BEST EVER!!!

Things were real easy. Andy is a straight shooter, and it was refreshing working with him. I felt like I was getting a good deal, and the work was done very well.
