Description of Work: Nyberg Exteriors replaced my shingles and gutters on the house and the garage. They did a beautiful job. Stuart (owner) takes his time to discuss what the customer wants and goes over the details with a "fine tooth comb". Great communication and great work. Highly Recommended.

Description of Work: Corrected a sloppy flashing job done by another contractor. Put a new capstone on the chimney--one piece rather than 2 cemented together which had caused leaks. They repaired the roof by the chimney as well. They completed the work in 2 days. We are very happy with their work.

Description of Work: Stu Nyberg did my original roof replacement. I was so impressed years ago when he finished to roofing project I was paying him the balance owed at the completion of the project and he indicated that he had over estimated materials needed and that in fact he owed me $900.00. Since his estimate was inline with other estimates I had received, I would have never known that I would have been owed monies. I was so impressed with his honesty that over the years I have recommended them to anyone needing a new roof. This past Sunday my roof suffered some damage from the high winds and downed trees in the Sauganash neighborhood. I called Stu, he returned my call promptly within a couple of hours and much to my amazement, a truck pulled up this moring with an employee of the company and repaired the missing shingles. Description of Work: Reroofed my home. Complete tear off. Replaced flashings and edging and rotted plywood decking. |Completed the work in one day. Very reasonable cost. Cleaned everything up afterwards. Communicated frequently with us on installation and what to expect. We are very happy with the job!

With service like this, how is it they are on Angie's List? How is it that they remain there? I thought you only provided the names of reputable contractors.

There were a few delays due to some other jobs they were working on but Andy always kept in contact with me and responded very quickly when I reached out. I will use Nyberg Exteriors again in the future, this is the second time I have used their services with great experiences both times.

Description of Work: I had Nyberg work on two issues involving my vinyl siding. | |One issue was two exhaust vents that needed to be replaced because all of the slats had broken off. This allowed birds to nest in the vent hole. I provided the new vent covers and Nyberg installed them. This went well and there were no problems later. | |The second issue was a window that was leaking water during some thunderstorms. Nyberg removed some of the siding around the window and added more flashing tape around the top of the window. The siding was restored around the window and looks fine. Later that summer or fall, rain came in from the top of the window again so the problem still exists. It may not be their fault, the water may be coming from somewhere else and entering the top of the window. | |It took them about two months from the time of the estimate until they arrived to do the work, which took an hour or two to complete. I think they said this was due to the poor spring weather putting them behind on projects. | |I am not sure I would hire them again due to the length of time to get service, and the fact that the problem with the window was not resolved. Their price was a lot lower than another estimate I got for this work. And the other company was not going to replace the flashing, they were just going to caulk around the top of the window. I've had that done before and it doesn't seem to help.

Description of Work: Nyberg did a tear-off roofing job plus they replaced all the soffit, fascia, gutters and window trim. They also replaced a small amount of siding at the front of the house. Although Nyberg's overall price was on the higher side, I felt more comfortable with Andy Nyberg personally. Basically, the job was completed in two parts - first the roofing crew stripped off the old roof, replaced any damaged boards and then re-roofed with ice/water shield, a felt layer and architectural shingles. The second part was done by another team of two people - they replaced all the metal parts and the siding. All-in-all, I was pleased with the quality of the work and the professionalism of the workers. The metal workers asked for my opinion when it was needed. They also took the initiative several times e.g. they created holes in the wood for the soffit vents - there were none before. Any issues I had were resolved. My biggest gripe was the amount of nails and little sharp-edged aluminum scraps that I cleared out of the flower beds afterwards - I counted over 100. However, I would use this company again.
