The service was delayed from initial schedule due to weather problems. the communication with the owner were very professional and timely. I was kept in the loop at all times and informed of any impediments that occurred. At the time of the service workers came on time and started working right away. It took the estimated 2 days to complete the job. I would like to suggest a little more attention to details in terms of clean up after completing the job; otherwise everything went great and I would use their services in the future, if needed.

I had read all the positive reviews on this company and was looking forward to seeing how they performed. I was very satisfied with the work and the installation went great. The crew was very professional and hard working. They spent about 8 days installing everything and did a terrific job We've gotten a lot of compliments on our house since the work was done.

From start to finish, we were very satisfied with our choice of Nyberg for the installation of Siding, Gutters, Window Wrap, Soffit, and Fascia on our home. Attention to detail was commendable. Once the actual installation began it was done quickly and professionally by all involved. Initially the job was supposed to only be for siding but after the first side was complete we realized the Soffit and Facia needed to be completed to match the perfection of the siding. This was no issue and caused no interruption in the installation even though we were 2 days in to the project. I was first approached by different contractors door to door for hail damage but after working with 2 other companies they did not seem trustworthy nor did they have verified positive reviews. I did not want to risk something I may be living with for the next 20-30 years by some seasonal contractor that changes the name of their company year to year. Nyberg provides 5 years on any labor defect in addition to manufacturers warrantee. Nyberg has been around for over 20+ years so at least I can feel confident in them being around if something needs resolved. The crew consisted of 2 gentleman that completed the work in about 5 days. They cleaned up after themselves daily and worked from 8-5pm consistently when weather permitted. We actually had Nyberg complete our roof 2 years earlier and when our insurance adjuster inspected he complimented on the quality of work that was completed there. I chose Granite siding with White trim as my color.

These guys are excellent ! We have a large home with a Cedar Roof. Everything went perfect ! Because they were behind due to a couple rain days they even worked the weekend to finish. Not a single problem, I reccomend Andy Nyberg highly ! Excellent and this was a huge job !

The initial contact with Andy was good and he submitted an estimate to us via e-mail in a day or so. He had also quoted some masonry work on our chimney but the quote was too high, so we only opted for the roof repair. He told us it would be 3 - 4 weeks before they could do the work. In reality, they did not do the work until a full 6 weeks had passed. All this time our ceiling leaked into our living room after every rainstorm, of which there were several in July and August in Arlington Heights. I contacted Andy several times to let him know that we were sustaining water damage, but he just kept stating that they couldn't do it even though I was told it would be only 3 to 4 weeks. Nyberg Exteriors could have easily completed this work sooner as it only took 3 hours or so to do this small job. The responsiveness of this company to customers is poor. Nyberg did not care that we had water leaking into our living room for 6 weeks waiting for them to schedule this small job. I do NOT recommend this company at all. Unprofessional and lack of customer service. Go elsewhere for your roofing work.

I hate leaving bad reviews, but Nyberg deserves this one. After asking Nyberg to come out to look at my cedar roof about repairs, they said they would come on a certain day in August. Apparent they came to my house while I was at work, because a Nyberg business card was left at my front door. But they never called or e-mailed me or followed up with me in any way to give me an estimate. I was left in limbo. I called their office to ask when I would receive an estimate. Finally after over a week, Mr. Nyberg called and apologized, saying he was out of town for the week b/c he took his kid to college. Okay, apology accepted. Except then he said he needed to see the interior of the home to view the skylights and scheduled to come out on Monday 8/25 between 9 AM and 11 AM. I waited ALL DAY. I called him twice that day and left messages, asking him when was his ETA? He NEVER called me back. He NEVER came to my house. Never heard from the guy again. Apparently, noting the 1,000+ company reviews on this website, he gets way too much business, and doesn't need my business! Word of caution! I am a small business owner myself, and customer service is my #1 priority! Not only am I disappointed, but I think this guy was rude to make me wait around for him, never come, and never even call to apologize or reschedule. I was very inconvienced as I had a lot to do that day. In comparison, I called C. Lombardo Installations to give me an estimate on the same repair work. They came out to my house within 48 hours, and then e-mailed me an estimate 24 hours later, and they also called me to make sure I got the estimate and to answer any questions. Now THAT'S Customer Service!! Too bad Nyberg just lost out on a $5,000 job at my house. I would not recommend Nyberg.

Really prompt and professional job! We used Nyberg Exteriors a long time ago to replace some missing shingles on our older roof, so when I noticed this week that we had a few water spots on our second floor ceiling, I contacted them again. Andy initially explained that they are booked with work for the rest of the season (no surprise, given all their great reviews), but then after I said how much we'd appreciate it, he said he and Arthur were able to come Monday morning. They arrived even earlier than expected (with a call beforehand to make sure that was ok), looked at the spots on the ceiling, and immediately went to work on the roof! I thought I was just getting an estimate, but they noticed it was a simple job of caulking around the ridge line vent and were prepared to do the work right then. They brought their caulk up and made the repair right then and there. Then, they initially refused to accept any money! Granted, the job took only half an hour, but they eventually let me buy their lunch for the day. I am so grateful that Nyberg was able to fit our small job into their schedule and would recommend them for any roofing job you have.

I found Nyberg roofers on Angie's list. We love them. They put on our upper roof and came back this year to repair a part of our lower roof which was leaking. The roof was leaking because the people who had put it on had not put on a roof which could stand up to a winter like we had. It was only three years old. There are many things we like about Aurther and Andy..but one of the most important is that , in a nice way, they tell you like it is. They aren't just about the sale..they want you to have a finished product that will stand up to whatever happens in the future. Sometimes, to make that happen, more is required. They will tell you so and they won't let you talk them out of what is 'right'. We respect that about them. They do beautiful work..seriously. If roof work has aesthetic appeal, their's does. I always know that it will look very clean and nice when they are done..and...that it will be the product they have said it will be. If you don't need something(like decking on one side, but not another) they will tell you. They are honest and honorable. As is true of a few other Angie's list people, we are their loyal customers. I would only recommend them to some one and we will only use them for our own home. Thank you again. Andy and Arthur for your superior work.

Mark from Nyberg Exteriors did a great job fixing my roof and chimney. He carefully repaired all the chewed shingles, and also identified a previously unseen spot on the roof where the squirrels may been getting into my attic. He checked the entire roof and also found screws missing around a skylight, noticed some leakage there, then fixed that. I also had him thoroughly blow off tree debris from the cedar shake roof roof so it didn't lead to further damage of the shingles from build up of seeds, leaves, needles, etc. stuck between the shingles. He did a great job overall! I would certainly hire them again. My only issues were some slowness in responding to my emails/calls when trying to schedule the work initially. And also when they didn't show up as scheduled on the agreed upon start day. Turned out they had been rained out on another job the day before so needed to finish that up, and forgot to call to tell me they would be starting a day later. They apologized and showed up promptly the next day.

We called Andy, along with three other roofing companies from Angies List, to come out and confirm if we had storm damage or not, as well as to look at missing shingles and a leaky ridge vent. Andy called back immediately, several minutes after emailing him at night. As for the other three, I did not hear back from two of them, and the third took almost a week to get back to me after a few follow ups, and still did not get me the answer I asked for until I replied back to him and asked again. Andy came out to look at the roof within a couple of days and reported the condition immediately. His offer to replace the shingles, seal the ridge vent and replace a missing end cap was too good to pass up (plus we hadn't heard back from the others), so we accepted without getting additional quotes. Turned out to be $75 for that plus additional investigation of the ridge vent once the leak remained. The gentleman who came out (did not get name) was professional and worked without bothering the family as requested. The first attempt was replacing the end cap and sealing of the seam and nails, along with replacing the shingles. When the leak remained, Andy said they should get into the attic to investigate, as the obvious missing end cap and sealing did not fix the leak. Through a miscommunication, the gentlemen came back and did not get into the attic, however went back up and sealed everything (entire vent). I met with him, and he was very nice and professional. That night it rained, and unfortunately the leak remained. We took a video of the attic and sent to Andy, who again immediately responded agreeing it was a damaged ridge vent. The gentlemen came out one more time on his own accord, and asked very politely if he could get back up there to do a couple of more things to try to prevent us from having to replace it. This was free of charge and basically due to him wanting to ensure we were serviced as good as he could. He had a pride that was obvious, and truly cared about us and our relationship. We do not know yet if this final attempt fixed it, but Andy provided a quote to replace the ridge vent in case it does not. I will use Andy for my roofing needs going forward, and absolutely recommend him to anyone.

Andy Nyberg was quick to respond for a quote for new gutters. He provided ample choices for color selection. He was most accommodating for scheduling around my painter. The quality of work is EXCELLENT !!! His pricing is very competitive. I would DEFINITELY use Nyberg Exteriors again in the future.

They were courteous, punctual and professional. They said they did not do the kind of siding I wanted, unfortunately, and recommended I call a carpenter. I would call them again, however, if I needed a new roof.

We have a 3 flat on a busy city street / alley. It was a bit of a challenge but they didn't complain. It was a very big job. The roof was done in 2 days and it looks great. The siding, gutters, etc was alot of work and the height and location of our house made it difficult but they did an amazing job. They were very good, hardworking men. They showed up on time every morning and ended up having to stay late a few times. Many passerbys were admiring their work and asking them for their bussiness cards. We are so pleased with the good care they took of our home. They are so professional and cleaned up so well everyday you couldn't tell they were here. I am so glad and relieved that we went with Nyberg Exteriors. It was a huge investment and I know we chose the right company and are very pleased with the results.

We had an emergency water problem. As part of the solution, we decided to install larger gutters and downspouts on one side of the house. They came in a short time to give us an estimate. The work was scheduled as soon as possible. The work was done quickly and efficiently.

He was very professional. He knew what he was talking about. He made a good appearance. Actually, he was a little bit higher than a couple of the other estimates, but we thought of the quality of his work and his professionalism and we went with him. Our house is not an easy house to re-roof because of all the peaks and things. It's an old Victorian. He did a great job. We're very, very satisfied. I would recommend him.

It was an excellent experience because of the short turn-around time from the time I contacted them and them coming out. They were also very professional. I asked what I owed them for coming out and for performing the repair, and they said I didnt owe them anything. I wouldnt hesitate to call them again for any other home services.

We have used Nyberg in the past and have been very happy with their serve. After a recent storm, we had some of our siding come off from a very high and precarious spot on the side of our house. I called and got a response back from Andy the next day. He said he would send someone out within a few days and give us an estimate. We got the estimate of $1850 and accepted it, however, he told us that the siding would take a week or so to get it in. Normally that would not have been a problem, but more siding had fallen done and our whole south wall was exposed to all the elements. I expressed concern to Andy that with all the storms coming, I was afraid we would have a monsoon in our upper floor. He said that he would send someone over right away to cover and seal the wall until the siding came in. This was a big relief. The siding came in a week or so later and he finished the job. Great work by Andy and Arthur overall

He was honest. He was responsive. He informed us that it was only the flashing and not the roof that needed repair. He later lowered the price because it was not as much work as he first thought.

Got a lot of quotes that were confusing, because of the wording. I had to teach myself about the terms. His quote was really high. They seemed to want to do thing s certain way and didn't seem to want to work with me.

Andy and Arthur came out and provided me a detailed estimate. I wanted all trim to be wrapped in aluminum so that I do not have to paint. I also asked for a decorative keystone over two windows. Additionally I was working with another contractor in installing a pergola which was being attached to the house. Andy and Arthur were both very responsive to my needs and were able to modify the installation of the back siding to accommodate the pergola ledger board. Their crew showed up every day as expected and worked hard to keep the project on target. I was very pleased with the work done and have had many compliments. I would not hesitate in using this company for future projects. Andy, Arthur and their crew were the best!

I thought they knew their work well, that’s why I hired them. it was a one day’s work but they took two days. I was surprised with the cost. I wasn't really impressed with them.

There were two workers. They immediately went to work. They were finished the same day, cleaned up well and were courteous. We were happy with the work performed and would use them again if we hadn't moved.

They came quickly for an estimate and fixed our roof and put in the new gutters at a reasonable cost. They were polite, helpful and efficient. I trust them and would do business with them again. I am late in getting this review done but wanted to post it because they deserve it.
