He is very responsive. He is very thorough in his work. Price was good compared to other quotes we got. We are having them come back in the spring. UPDATE: After contacting him multiple times to come and give a quote for additional work in the side and front yard drainage, he showed up after over 30 days of initial contact. He walked around and took notes and told me that he would send me an invoice by the end of the week. Its been over 5 months and no invoice or call back from him. I left a couple of voicemails but no response. I think this company only likes to work with new customers and does not take care of the loyal customers.

Quality service week in and week out. Workers were very punctual and courteous. No damage to lawn all summer. I was able to cancel service on weeks where mowing was unnecessary (e.g., heat of summer). Workers also dispatched of autumn leaves, which was an unexpected bonus. Phone calls and/or e-mails were returned by the next day. Invoices were sent promptly each month. The initial quote was slightly higher than some others, but I went with the contractor because of the high ratings on this site and the contractor did not disappoint. I would recommend to a friend and consider using them for additional landscaping service.

Work went great, Dave Noland the owner was very responsive and flexible. We told him our basic interests in landscaping and he came up with a simple design that was reasonable in price. Dave and his crew started promptly and kept us informed along the way. He also added some touches to minor things which weren't necessarily included in the quote that we didn't think of asking about. Following the completion of the job, he kept in touch to ensure the grass was coming in nicely and answer any questions on maintenance, etc. We are very happy with the results!

They did an excellent job. The owner he even called us after the project was done and paid for to make sure we were satisfied. He was very personable.

Quick overview: we had an above ground pool installed, the company we contracted completely demolished our backyard and we needed to hire a landscaper to fix it. There was no way we could have don it ourselves, the damage was just that extensive. Spending an extra $4500 to fix another contractors mistake wasn't something we had planned on but if you have to dish out the extra bucks, Noland's is the place to use! Dave was fantastic from start to finish. He was very patient with all our questions, rebids and the constant calls (thanks Dave!). Not only did they come in and fix our yard, the work that they did exceeded my expectations. He has restored my faith in contractors - they all aren't out to get you (thanks again Dave!). His men were corteous and professional and I am excited that my yard is done and it looks amazing!

Overall, it went below average. We played phone tag for 3 days which is not a big deal, but he didn't show up at the scheduled time. I called and left a message. I called again the next day (Sat.) and he couldn't meet until after his son's soccer game. OK. I agreed to noon, but then couldn't because of errands I had to run. He looked over the property himself and then emailed a quote. From what he emailed, the price, and the fact that they could do it in the next few days were why I agreed. A 3 man crew came and were professional. However, since I didn't go over exact specifics in writing (just over the phone with Dave), they did what they thought was right. When they went to leave, I expressed dissatisfaction with the weeds left in the bushes. They then removed those and mulched. I was then indisposed to approve their work when they were done, other than to say OK through the front door screen. After they left, I checked the beds. They were all mulched, but not cleaned. They left the weeds and just threw the mulch on top of the oak leaves that were EVERYWHERE in the all the beds. I had expected the oak leaves gone. I started pulling 25 - 20 leaves out of the center of bushes and then thought, "Why am I doing this?" I called Dave and he agreed that he would send a crew over as soon as the weather got better and between jobs. Dave showed up 8 days later. Again, I was really busy. He didn't see the problem with the oak leaves. I told him I could spread mulch for MUCH cheaper. I wanted someone to clean up, like the written quote said. I showed him the oak leaves in all the bushes, garbage the crew mulched over and didn't pick up. His response was "This is how we do it and it looks fine to me." I realized his "nice" was not the same level as my nice. He continued by saying "Well then take $20. off and go buy yourself something nice." WHAT?!?! I would NEVER use this company again, nor would I ever recommend them.

Looks great! They did an excellent job. They even put left over mulch over a separate area for us without being asked too. Great job!

From the start to end, Dave Noland's communication was terrific. I called for the estimate, he came out, a couple weeks later, I sent in the signed contract and work was done about a week later. I called him throughout with questions and he answered them all. He was very friendly and helpful. His workers were all hardworking and courteous. I am going to be hiring him for fertilization of my lawn now that I've seen how great of a job this company does.

The workers that came out Noland?s Landscaping Inc. Company were very professional and friendly. They seemed to know what they were doing. I did have a little problem with them on the steps that they put in. They added a little bit too much fill and it sort of piled dirt and soil up too far on the foundation of my house. I had to have them come back and to remove some of it. I was a little put out with that to begin with because I had thought that they knew better. However, they came back corrected it when I called them on it. I?m not sure if I would use them in the future.

They service was great overall. Their price was right. They did everything that they needed to and came up with suggestions. They were cleaning up the beds and kind of redoing everything. They were moving trees and getting rid of dead trees. They did everything very well; however, after they left I had issues with the beds being a bit uneven. I told Mr. Noland about it and he came and fixed it up. The people that came seemed to be friendly enough and were hardworking. Overall, they were good except that they did not pay attention to details. It was good that Mr. Noland was willing to come and fix everything again. It says a lot about them.

They did a terrific job with everything. Very pleased with both the company and their work.

Dave is the guy who runs the company. He seemed very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the work I needed to get done. He was also very responsive. I liked his demeanor. He knew what he was talking about.

I've called them before for other things, and they've always been polite and quick to respond. They might be a little more expensive than usual, but their promptness is great I called them this morning and they called me back within 20 minutes, letting me know they'd be out this morning to clear my father-in-law's driveway. My father-in-law is in the hospital, so we appreciate their promptness in this situation. They really helped us out.

Totally professional from start to finish. Answered my call promptly. Came out for an estimate the same week. Completed the work as agreed upon. His crew worked quickly and cleaned up after. Dave (the owner) came after to inspect and offered suggestions on what we might consider planting in the spring. He has a great demeanor and we will recommend his company to my friends.

Did not seem enthusiastic at all about taking my project. The estimate took 11 days to arrive and was too high. The estimate was well over double what I paid another landscaper for the same job.

We found Noland's here on Angie's List and I contacted them about the work we wanted done. Dave got back to me and was both friendly and professional on the phone. We told him what we were looking to have done, which was to have part of our back yard graded / prepped to have a swingset put in. We also wanted the space framed out with landscape timbers to retain the playmat we'd eventually put down. Dave sent a proposal via e-mail, and I asked him to revise it initially with some other things (initially it didn't include the landscape timbers), which he did and revised the price. We met in person once before the project date, and he gave me a timeframe as to when they could do the work. He contacted me within the proposed timeframe, we set a date, and they showed up on that day and did the work as planned. It looks very nice and they were careful with the surrounding landscaping and fence. They still need to come back and pack it down a bit more before we put the swingset in, but we are very happy with the work they did and would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

It is an ongoing with them. They are great. They send our bills online. Their people are very motivated. They will readily do whatever extra you need them to do. If you ask them to do something, they will gladly do it. They are very good and they are very clean about themselves. They come in and efficiently do their job. The cost of the service depends on what they do. If it is simple grass cutting, it is $35.00 a week. I have got a big lot. I have got probably close to a third of an acre. There is quite a bit of grass in my lot. They do quite a bit of work and those charges are naturally a little more expensive. I checked the market in the area to see what others are paying and they are within the ball game or even less in some instances. We had a tree limb that rotted out and fell across our driveway. I called them one morning and they were out there in the afternoon. We charged for it but their people came in, took it down, cut it up, and hauled it away. We didn't have any debris and they cleaned up everything and it was gone like it never happened. As long as they stay in business, I am happy with their pricing and what they do. I will be using them again in the future.

Initial start date was pushed back a week as they completed a prior job, but they were right there on time on the new date. They worked cleanly and steadily. Their final clean up was actually meticulous-they took real pride in their job. Our walkways and patio are beautiful. We are very happy with Nolands Landscaping and would use them again.

The final price was the quoted price and so far everything seems to be growing just fine.

We got estimates from 3 landscapers from Angie's list and selected Dave because he seemed to listen to our ideas and worked with us to devise a plan to meet our requirements. He and his team arrived right on schedule, were very courteous and cleaned up the area beautifully.

Job was on schedule, on budget. One or two minor adjustments were made promptly. Nolan's interest in excellent performance is evident every step of the way.

Went well. Design was nicely done, they showed up as scheduled and did a nice job.

I can't say enough good things about Dave Noland and his staff. Noland's Landscaping provides excellent consultation services and outstanding products at a very reasonable price. As an after thought we asked them to install malibu/spotlights in our front yard. Dave went out of his way to make sure our malibu/spotlights were installed correctly and that we were happy with them. He makes the landscaping design process very easy. He offered good suggestions on what to plant where yet kept our budget in mind. I definitely will definitely use them again and would recommend them to others.
