NOLAND'S LANDSCAPING INC

Noland is our go-to guy for outdoor work. We decided to solicit quotes from 3 vendors this time around just to do due diligence and found that Noland's prices remained the best. I came home yesterday after the most recent work was done and it was everything expected. I'm very happy, yet again, with his work.

They did great a job. They are the one who did the landscaping and they're wonderful. He did a very reasonable re-landscaping and cleaning of our yard.

The work was accomplished in about six hours, but I was away from the house when it was done. Noland had left written instructions on how and when to water the seeds, and when to expect sprouting to occur, Additional watering instructions were provided. He had also made a more permanent outlet for the drain tile which would prevent splash-out when the pump was running.

Very reasonable pricing. He cleared off my driveway very quickly when we did have snow. I was very happy with the service.

They came and did a very good job. We will have them back again next year.

Three things: 1) I did a GREAT deal of research in the spring when looking to hire someone to rectify my drainage problems. Bids were all over the board, including one that was north of $6000 (absurd for the amount of work). One company told me their motorized wheel-barrows wouldn't be able to handle the job due to the pitch of my yard. Dave Noland came, assessed the situation in a no-nonsense way and provided a fair price. Sure?I could have paid for a crew of 6 guys with space-age motorized wheel-barrows but why? Drainage issue addressed. 2) Dave?s style and customer sat was so good I recommended him to my Dad and neighbor. No problems. And yes, I will be using him again in the spring. 3) And third? Yes, it was a bit challenging to schedule the job due to his current workload. But you deal with it and make adjustments. Oh, and to the reviewer in September who gave Dave an F for this?get real. One of the main reasons why Dave can deliver good work at a reasonable price is because he doesn?t have the overhead. It?s called BUSINESS.

Dave Noland was professional in every aspect of the job. He was prompt for the initial consultation and came up with suggestions to keep the cost down. His estimate was very reasonable and he could get the work done within a couple of weeks. The results were more than I expected. His crew cleaned up completely when they were finished. I would recommend and use this company again.

When contacted said they were so far behind with work, they could not take anything new on and can't keep up with workload. While I appreciate their honesty, most businesses in that situation would buy additional equipment and hire additional workers - maybe give a job to someone who is currently unemployed.

I thought that they were very professional and they did their work very quickly. They added on little bits and pieces that they didn't need to, but they did anyway without any hassle at all.

How is it a company advertises its services but won't bother to make contact when one specifically states the work wanted? Very disappointing. I found them through Angie, contacted them through their web site, via a link on Angie's site.

Their price was reasonable and fair. They did a very good job. They gave us a nice way-out. They came in and did the work very quickly. It turned out to be very nice.

Excellent - we have used Noland's for three years, and remain very happy with the services provided. Reliable, reasonably priced, and Dave is very responsive, and will make changes on the fly when needed. The provided mulch for our entire garden area - as well as planted seed/new topsoil for some bare patches. They are also making adjustments around our playset, as well as adjusting mulch in front for water run off. They always get done what we ask, and do it well. I highly recommend Noland's.

I can't think how I could be happier. Dave came out and gave me an estimate last fall. While waiting for other estimates the weather turned. I contacted him when the snow melted and we scheduled the work. Dave called one day and said they would be in my area and do the clean up and mulching but theplants were not in the nursery yet. I came home and all the dead bushes and plants were gone, everything else was trimmed and the bed full of mulch. I expected that it would be another 2 weeks or so before the new plants arrived. I came home a few days later and found everything was done. It looks great.

The overall experience was perfect. The work was completed sooner than promised. We were also impressed that Dave started with a low bid and left it to us whether we wanted to add features at additional costs, Other landscapers started with outrageously high bids and expected us to eliminate portions to reach our budget.

Noland Landscaping did an excellent job. The always arived before dawn and did a thorough snow removal in a quiet, professional manner. I will use them again and I can recommend them without hesitation.

After getting several much higher quotes to bury the sump line in my backyard I called Dave for a quote. He was approximately 30% cheaper than the lowest quote I had received. He also quoted on grinding several stumps, regrading and reseeding an area of my lawn. Two guys came out and dug the entire trench by hand (approx 100 feet). They replaced the sod when finished. They also regraded an old patch of weeds and ground several tree stumps for me. Whent they seeded the weed patch I was skeptical at first, but the grass ended up coming in nicely and now, 5 months later, you can hardly tell they were even there. Several weeks after the initial work we had Noland's back to clear out and mulch several beds around the house. Everything looked great and the price was right. My neighbor also ended up using them for mulch and a tree planting. Overall great job by Noland's landscaping. I will definitely give Dave a call next spring with a few additional projects we're considering.

The entire experience was positive from the time I first met with Dave to discuss our needs until the project was finished. He and his crew were very courteous and professional. They arrived on time, worked very hard and were finished on schedule.

Dave accommodated my request to get in early (our yard was a bit of an embarrassment). He was there to supervise the work. The boys did a fantastic job of fixing up everything. We were very pleased.

We got them from Angie's List. He was excellent. He was on time and cleared away all the debris. He called me to see if everything was living. I was happy with what he provided. In fact he's going to be doing some other yard work for us.

We were pleased with the service. David was very efficient in his estimate and his team did the work very efficiently in the course of one morning. The area they worked on was approximately 15x15 feet. I found David's approach to be very practical and flexible compared to another estimate I had received. I would recommend his services. People who have seen the before and after pictures of our backyard unanimously agree it was a major improvement. The only downside has been this year's extreme drought and heat which zapped some grass seed despite regular watering but there wasn't much anyone could do about that.

Very professional, on time performance of work, reasonable cost. We did not know Noland's people had even been to the house until we noticed there were two strips of new sod in the back yard. The cleanup was that good. The systems works as designed. Highly recommend Noland's Landscaping. Will use them again if required.
