Description of Work: Fairly large sidewalk replacement job. K&K was selected by property owner's association, we had no input in selecting them. Job appeared to be well managed but the finished product, that is, the appearance of the sidewalks, is a bit worse than what you see with city work. We were expecting better.

After speaking with the owner and the president of the board onsite and in person, this unit owner was possibly not fully informed on how the concrete was going to turn out as the finished product. We had been advised from the board to install a "California style" finish on the concrete common walk area with a medium broom finish so the traction would not wear away over time as some broom finishes do and when working with associations, every unit owner has different views or expectations on how the concrete should be formed or finished and we try our very best to make every individual happy. We had not met or talked with this particular unit owner throughout the entire rehabilitation process until now and so in the future we will do our best to make sure when working with associations that every unit owner who is getting work completed to be fully informed on how the install will turnout. Other than that, the job went very well.

Description of Work: K&K did not come out to do an estimate because our job was too small. We needed two new "squares" put into our front walk after Perma Seal came out and installed the back up tank in our front yard; they had to break two of the squares in our front sidewalk.

We informed [Member Name] to the best of our ability that pouring outside flat concrete in the middle of winter was not a good idea and could not warranty the work due to the ground being frozen. Perma seal had to excavate and then backfill with the onsite material and the soil would settle during the spring when the ground thawed out. We said we could do it in the spring but that was not an option.We will try harder to make sure our potential customer understands the circumstances of pouring outside flatwork in the middle of winter.
