Excellent and fast communication.
Fair price.
Not only repaired damaged sections but also looked over similar areas of the house refastening and caulking where necessary.
Would highly reccommend him.
I had made a small mistake measuring the backing for an outside light and they fixed my mistake quickly and easily.
The house looks great. We would hire them again for any work we might need to do!
Price was a slightly more than we received from insurance company for this work, but we got some upgrades on gutters and downspouts as we felt the original gutters/downspouts were a little undersized for this house and we had many problems previously with overflow even though gutters were clean. So overall feel that the price was reasonable and the end result is very good.
Our first rain has just occurred and everything is working very well and the work was well done and is beautiful to look at. We are very happy with our first (but not last) experience with Holda Construction.

Our wood frame chimney had a section of siding that appeared to have water damage. I called Holda and asked if they could replace the damaged siding. He said he could do the job and gave me a list of materials that he needed. I purchased the materials and his team showed up on the scheduled day to work on the project. As they pulled off the damaged siding, it became evident that the damage was much greater than it appeared on the surface. The fact of the matter was that the water damage covered a good portion of the chimney and went back though the plywood and even into some of the framing.
We agreed that they would do a temporary job to carry me over until we could get the materials to do the entire job properly. They ordered the materials and had them delivered in a couple of days and then came back and did the work. The job took his 2 person team a couple of days. The finished work looks fantastic and I was able to later confirm with a roofing specialist that they did a very good job with the flashing to ensure that the water damage issue would not come back. The project came in cheaper than I would have expected and they did not charge me for the first day of "throw away" work when we discovered how extensive the damage was.
I would definitely recommend Holda in the future.

Mariusz Holda and his company (Holda Construction) did a fantastic job! I found them on Angie's list and they did not disappoint. I had them redo my soffit, fascia, and replace the gutters around my entire house. They were on time, efficient, very professional, and did a great job cleaning up after the job was done. They did miss replacing the fascia over a small narrow spot above my back door and one of my windows but it was an easy spot to miss because of the location. When I pointed it out to them they quickly apologized and installed the missing piece w/in the week. They fixed the gutter on the front of my house so that the downspout now was draining in a better direction. I was so pleased with their work on the house, I hired them to replace the roof on my shed and garage. New gutters were also installed on the garage. Both jobs were done in the same timely, efficient manner, and again, they cleaned up after themselves well. I was most impressed with Mariusz?s dedication to not only the quality of his work, but also the aesthetics. He saw the color choice I had picked for the garage gutters and took the time to tell me in the politest, most professional way possible that it was going to "stick out like a sore thumb" and that it would not look very good. He suggested a different color and I went w/his choice. I was glad I did; it looks fantastic and I can see he was right about the other color being wrong. Many other people wouldn't have cared if the color was going to look odd as long as they had their money. I appreciate the time he took to talk to me and to make sure that I would have gutters that not only worked well, but also ones that complimented the overall aesthetic of the house and garage. And all of this for a very reasonable price.

At the beginning of August this year there was a hail storm that ripped thru the West Ridge/West Rogers Park area that did a number on our roof and many other homes in the area. There were ?ambulance chasers? in our area immediately soliciting business and offering $500.00 to put their sign in your yard as advertisement ? NO THANK YOU!!
I did my homework and found Holda Construction and reached out to them about our needs. From the moment that I spoke to them until the end of the project I KNEW that I picked the correct contractor to do the job. This is a family owned/operated business and you can tell how much they care about the task at hand as well as the happiness of their customers. I worked with Mariusz (President/Owner) and Carolyn the entire time and felt like I was part of their family from the very first meeting. I never felt any pressure during the entire process and sought out their opinion on what would be best for our home. Mariusz was honest and told us what would work best and what wasn?t really necessary if we didn?t want to spend the money. He never tried to ?sell us? anything! He answered all of our questions and was very patient with us during the entire process. We?ve never had to replace our roof, gutters and siding before (thank goodness) so it was a learning experience for my family and couldn?t have asked for a better one.
The crew that worked on our house was very prompt each morning and worked late each night ? easily putting in 10 hours or more each day. I was in no hurry for them to complete the job because it's the roof of the house and I wanted to make sure it was done properly and with care. Now that the project is over, I stand back at look at my roof/gutters/siding compared to my neighbors and LOVE what I see. I would recommend Holda Construction to anyone who needs a new roof, gutters and or siding replaced. They are fantastic in every sense of the word!!! Thank you!

The two roofers, Mark and Martin, were very professional and they always
made sure they cleaned up the work site every day. We experienced
delays for several reasons, most out of the control of the contractor,
but through it all the Holda Construction and their crew maintained
their commitment to quality and workmanship. Even some of our neighbors
told us how impressed they were with the crew.
In addition, some of the issues found once construction started caused increases
in the cost of the project, yet all those costs were covered willingly by the contractor
through their commitment to the fixed price we were given. When unforeseen issues
occurred, I would have liked to see more communication, but overall we
are extremely happy and would recommend Holda Construction to my friends
and family.
