It was mostly a really good experience. The owner was outstanding. He was very responsive, and really, really good.

Holda Construction did an excellent job installing our siding. Mariusz was helpful during the initial meeting and his crew was able to complete the job within two half days. Clean up was thorough and Mariusz came out to inspect the completed work. We will be asking them to return to replace our roof and gutters.

Mariausz's crew, Mark and Dominick, were excellent workers. They had a big job of tearing off siding and installing new siding during the middle of winter. They were professional, hard working, and prompt. Mariausz was great to work with too. He provided great advice throughout the project and was a fair price. I would recommend Holda Construction and would use them again.

They were fantastic! They were friendly, trustworthy, and overall good people. The owner is up front, helpful, and very honest.

We were having flooding issues in our basement closet. Upon investigation we discovered that we had a gaping hole in the corner of our house where the wood underneath the siding did not meet. After several failed attempts at getting someone here that could actually fix the problem I went on Angie's List and found Holda Construction and I'm so glad we did. We called Holda on Friday, Dec. 19th and couldn't believe it when Mariusz called us back that same day and scheduled an appt. to take a look at the problem for the following day, Saturday. He was very up-front about the cost and what the project would entail. We were shocked again when he said he could come out on that following Mon., Dec., 22nd only a couple of days before Christmas! He said he had another project ahead of us but would come as soon as he finished it, which he did, but the weather was so bad that he rescheduled for Fri., Dec., 26th, a day after Christmas, which he honored. One of his workers came out that Friday and took care of the corner with the hole. He also found that the wood planks that were holding up the siding were held together with duct tape of all things. He fixed that problem as well and replaced our original siding and we haven't had any flooding. He was efficient and was done within 4 - 5 hours. We're very happy we found Holda Construction. The price was very reasonable and Mariusz was extremely prompt in scheduling and fixing the problem. We can't emphasize enough on how difficult it was to find someone that would take care of the problem and to do it during the time of year when most companies won't even pick up the phone is a testament to Holda's integrity.

Working with Mariusz was a pleasure, and I highly recommend his company. This was by far the smoothest home improvement project I have ever undertaken, and I wish all contractors were as responsive and professional as Mariusz. He did what he said he would do, when he said he would do it, for the price he quoted the first time we met. No hidden charges, no up-selling, just a smooth transaction from start to finish. He is very conscientious, and his crew was professional and kept the work area clean. Other than the sound of hammering and construction, we would not have known they were there. Mariusz came by to check on the status of the project and promptly followed up with us on any questions we had. I wish we could hire him to do all the projects around our house!

Exceptional responsiveness and quality

From the first evening when Mariusz estimated the job to the very end today where he fixed a couple of issues that were remaining, I have been so happy with the company. The gutters alone make my home look so much better, and I feel assured that with the bigger ones I won't have ice problems like I had last year. When I mentioned that I wanted a longer downspout to drain water further away from the house, Mariusz was here 2 days later fixing it. He was professional and courteous at all times and promptly returned all of my calls. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a professional to replace their gutter system!

I contacted Holda Construction via Angie's List email to receive an estimate of replacing all of my gutters and downspouts and received an immediate response. We set up a time to get a quote and Mariusz Holda and I discussed various size options and the placement of the downspouts. He provided me with two options and prices. We came to an agreement that day. I wanted to get the gutters up before I had to leave town and he worked it out so it was all done within a week after the quote. The crew that came was very professional and made sure I understood what they were going to do. When the job was completed we walked around the house checking the whole project. He pointed out a couple of things I needed to take care of to ensure there wouldn't be any problems with water drainage in the yard and around the flower gardens. In addition, he pointed out a small crack in my foundation that I wasn't even aware was there. Overall I was very happy with the job from start to finish. I would recommend Holda Construction and will use their services in the future.

Mariusz, came out the same day that I called to look at the siding I needed done. He gave me an estimate and some advice on the work - his estimate was almost exactly what the final invoice was. His guys came out on the designated day and whipped through the entire job in about 5 hours! They did great work, very thorough and attentive to details. It wasn't an easy job, but the results are siding as close to know as the quality and age of the siding would allow. The best part of the job was the up-front advice Mariusz gave me about how long my old siding would last. Very, very pleased with Holda and will be calling them when I'm ready to replace my siding!

I had originally called Mariusz to set up an estimate of cost for fixing damage to our soffit and faschia that had occurred over the summer when we got hit by lightening. The whole piece of trim on the faschia needed replacing, the soffit needed to be fixed, and some shingles on the roof needed to be re-nailed down. Unfortunately, we couldn't find an exact match of our trim (it isn't made anymore), but helped us find a color that was very close (you can't even tell the difference). He came out, gave us a pretty good estimate, and had his guys out the next day!! They only took a couple hours, cleaned up after themselves, and were gone before I knew it! The only issue was getting a hold of Mariusz to pay him! He's a busy man! He also gave us an estimate to redo the siding on our house that got messed up in the same storm. Again, no matches to the siding - no longer made- so we have to do the whole house. He gave us a very reasonable estimate for that, and was able to break it down like we asked for insurance purposes. We will be calling him back in the spring to do the siding work!!

They were unwilling to communicate or show up. There were no restrictions on the job. It was a pain to deal with that company.

Work was done as per the contract, Mariusz came out and discussed the options we had and measured. We had dentil molding that was wood, part of the original decorative features installed when the house was built. Unfortunately that had to get covered over as there was no real way to work with it. We were sad to see that go but are very pleased with the end result. No more maintenance and painting! They did great work but there was a gap between when the facia/soffits were installed and when the gutters were finally hung. The gap was between a week and 2 weeks and I had to contact them to find out when the job would be competed. The reason I became concerned and called was because we had some major rainstorms and I was concerned that we had no gutters. (Just to be clear, the rainstorms were not the reason for the delays, but rather I suspect scheduling the appropriate crews for the specific work.)

We needed to replace the entire cedar siding of our 3200 square foot house which has complicated gables and many unique trim features. We decided to use James Hardie siding which requires very specific installation instructions in order to maintain the product warranty. We chose Holda Constriction after talking with the owner, Mariusz who was willing to work with us on changing the trim options from the original siding. They also replaced our sliding glass door and rotted wood on one of the soffits as part of the agreement. Marius was always responsive and worked with us throughout the project making changes to our original plans as we mutually identified them. The crew was consistently timely, clean and cordial. Mark, the head carpenter was extremely meticulous with the installation of trim and siding. His caulking expertise was the best I have ever seen. They finished the job on schedule with zero surprises and did a good job cleaning up after they were done. We are extremely satisfied with the installation and in fact the finished product exceeds our expectations. We couldn?t ask for anything more. We would highly recommend Holda Construction and would not hesitate to hire them again on future projects.

The work was completed in 3 days and looks great. Mr. Holda had to come back to make adjustments to the outside electrical fixtures, door bell and address numbers but everything was done with no problems. I am very happy with how my home looks, and how everything was taken care of by Mr. Holda. If there are any problems in the future, I'm sure he would make every effort to fix.

Contacted Holda construction @ 6:00 pm and by 8:00 p.m. The owner showed up @ my door. Everything went well and I was very pleased with the craftsmanship of the crew. My kids had a blast watching the workers. My house looks amazing and all my neighbors come by and say WOW !!!! House looks amazing and I will recommend Holda to all my family and friends.

Showed up on time and did a clean, professional job. Cleaned up all martial around the house.

Knowledgeable with excellent customer service and great prices. We had Holda Const come out and give us an estimate to fix our rotted wood soffit a few weeks back. Around the same time we had a few other companies come out and give estimates. Holda was the only company that offered to do exactly what I asked (at a comparable price to their competitors) AND give me some other ideas that would help solve the issue for the long run. We discussed switching from wood to aluminum soffits to eliminate future rot, adding a downspout on the current gutters to reduce water damage where the rot was, amongst some other options. Every step of the way they were in contact with me to make sure things were going smoothly. I would definitely use them again.

This is the second time that we used Holda Construction. The owner, Mariusz does a great job. He is very professional, clean and is great at following up with his customers. We recommend this company for windows, gutters, soffit and facia.

When Mr. Holda came out to measure and give us an estimate, he was very pleasant and knowledgeable and, in talking with him, we received the impression that he was an honest and qualified person who would do a good job for us. When the job was scheduled, his workers came out early and were efficient and pleasant and did all the work, leaving no mess behind. Mr. Holda came out to inspect how work was progressing and to be sure that all was right with the job. He assured us that if any problems or questions would arise at any future date, not to hesitate in calling him. We feel that the quality of the work done and his personal ethics are two important reasons for which we would recommend him to others.

Excellent work! Installed larger gutters and downspouts to handle the water flow better. Crew was timely, polite, and professional. We purchased a "Big Deal" for gutters only and were able to add on the down spouts and fascia repair for a very reasonable cost.

Had difficulty with scheduling but weather was a complicating factor. Job was done well.

I never received an estimate. I have waited a month because of a Angie's list deal that Holda Construction had. After repeated attempts to get Holda Construction out for an estimate they continued to cancel with the excuse of we forgot. This company is not professional and not worth your time.

This was a very bad experience as the only thing this contractor seemed interested in was selling me more services. I also found the Big Deal program at Angies List worthless as after 30 days refunds are not granted and customer services did nothing to help resolve this situation.
