Not only did they do the repairs which I requested, they also jumped my car's battery, in order to get it up and running! Also, they found what the problem was with my garbage disposal and offered to fix it so that I could return the one which I had purchased at Home Depot. Really appreciated their honesty and friendliness!

He has put in fence posts and later a new fence. he has come here to give a quote for keeping critters out from under our deck, but it is not feasible to do. he's worked on our kitchen light fixing it when it was not working. he is a jack of all trades. paula kramer

he came while we were out and mailed an estimate. his price was the best and we chose to work with him. on his estimate, he also included materials, but we had already purchased. i went to all of the home stores and was not able to find the caps that matched the fence. steve called me back with a website and price. they were perfect @ $5.00 a piece. i left him working on the fence while i went to an appointment. he left me the bill and closed everything up. he cleaned everything up as well and left it in an organized pile in my garage. i'd recommend him and plan to use him again. paula kramer

GREAT! I am a tough cookie when it comes to service and these guys are great.

We have had Steve remodel two bathrooms and now two bedrooms and each time the project was done on time, on budget with attention to detail. Unlike other home repair people, when they say they will be there at 8am they are there at 8am. With family and friends, we have heard horror stories about the time it takes to finish a project. They always look out to see that you are happy with what they do and I cannot say enough about how happy we were with the work.

Everything was great. The gentleman was timely, easy to work with, and did an excellent job. He charged a fair price as well.

I think his labor part was $3000. He was always great with communication. He was always on time, which in construction is a miracle because you can't get people to show up when they say they are going to show up. He did a great job. I will use his services again in the future.

Instead of having individual pots all over my balcony, I wanted a continuous flower box that looked more like a flower bed that would you see in a home lawn. I laid out my vision with newspaper (the flower box is L shaped with angled ends), recorded the dimensions, then talked to Steve about it. He suggested the building material (treated lumber) and fabrication methods (caulk, screws and miter joints). He quoted the price and then made up the box. He emailed me samples of stains I could select for finishing the wood. He delivered in the time he quoted. The box is beautiful and the project turned out exactly as I hoped it would. Steve was very helpful and responsive to my questions. The box is very solid and I expect it will last for many years to come. Steve is a pleasure to do business with and just the type of man you want to help you in your home. He is friendly, knowledgeable and reliable.

Hank's is very good. I am getting ready to have him come back out and do more work. They are good people. They are nice and courteous. They show up on time. I have had others not show up on time and they are not like that. They had the lowest price. The quality was excellent.

I've used other handymen in the past and wished that I had known about Steve sooner. Steve and his helper came to take measurements and give me a free estimate. I was pleasantly surprised by the low quote and was very happy when they came back to do the job and performed additional work at no charge. He even drove to his workshop to fix a broken drawer and came right back at no additional charge. His work was top-notch, he cleaned the work area, and he removed debris. I will definitely use him again.

Steve and Ralph came over to give an estimate. I needed to have the drywall open first until a structural engineer took a look to make sure there were no structural problems. They were able to take care of it the same day. Steve is also home inspector and addressed some of my other concerns about a few other cracks as well. After the inspection, Steve and Ralph fixed the drywall and couple of other cracks, and painted the wall. They were never in a rush to finish up quickly, but spent time to make sure the job was done right. Very professional, pleasant gentlemen and they did an excellent job.

We purchased a new microwave and dishwasher but did not want to pay the high installation charges being quoted by Home Depot, Lowes, Sears etc. Steve gave us an estimate of about 2 hours for getting both installed. However, during the actual installation itself, he enountered some surprises as the plumbing / piping in our house was old. It eventually took him almost 4 hours to complete the job and had to make 2 trips to the hardware store to get different parts. But he still charged us only for the original 2 hours he had estimated plus parts. A complete professional, punctual with a great sense of humor and easy to work with.

I decided a week earlier that I was going to remodel my kitchen. I ordered my cabinets and had them delivered. I made a list of things that I knew I could not do myself and looked at the list of handymen in my area. I called three companies and they all returned my call and we made appointments to get bids. Now that I think about this Hank’s Handyman company was the only company to come out when they said they would (the other two did not show) and they made time to help me pull down two cabinets that I was having problems getting out while we talked about the countertops. Ralph came back the next day and started helping me with more than just the countertops. We had drywall to remove and put back up. Some electrical to change and then some countertops to cut. I had a great time working with them and will be calling them for a couple of more projects that I have.

Arrived on time. Finished in less time than estimated and as a result charged a lower price. No problems.

Steve is methodical, organized and meticulous about his work. He used painter's tape on the cut lines, so the paint lines are all straight and clean. He is efficient and works very neatly, cleaning up behind himself. I wouldn't have known he was here unless I went into the room he was working in. It took him 5 days to complete the work. The walls needed two coats because I picked rich paint colors. He is personable with good customer service. At my request, he made sure to leave the holes where my pictures were hung so we could rehang them in the same spot.
