Description of Work: Bill came out and gave us an estimate to replace 2 furnaces and 2 acs. He did a load calculation and recommended the appropriate size furnaces and acs for my house. |The crews worked for 12 hours and finished installing everything in 1 day which was excellent. They clean up before they left. They also took care of the paper work for rebates and registration. I highly recommend them.

Description of Work: Because we needed to replace a lemon of a Lennox furnace, researched several heating and air conditioning companies. Bill came to give us an estimate and took about an hour and a half to survey the house for what we needed. He also took the time to listen to the issues we have with both heating and cooling the house. (None of the other companies we got estimates from did this. They justed looked at the old furnace and gave an estimate based on what we had.). Dave the installer did a wonderful job installing the furnace and cleaning up. He also took a lot of time to explain how everything worked. Also all the instructions, the estimate and notes were all presented to use in one folder. We will definitely be using them for all our needs. They will be installing our new air conditioner this spring also.

Description of Work: I purchased a new Trane furnace and a/c, along with a humidifier and media air filter in December 2013. I had four vendors submit bids, and chose Five Star as the superior vendor with the best product. Five Star performed the most thorough analysis for sizing the products and provided the best explanations for the options. They took care of handling all the available rebates as well as obtaining the product warranties. Five Star provided additional warranties on their own. If you've done your research, you know that good performance of the equipment is contingent on the installation as much or more so than the equipment itself. The technicians were very professional, the installation went smoothly and the equipment is running great. Five Star helped with some minor things unique to my home to improve efficiency as part of the installation (at no additional cost). I would highly recommend Five Star to anyone shopping for new heating and cooling equipment. Or for anyone shopping for a vendor to provide routine service to existing equipment.
