+ -1 moreThey didn't hook up the gas correctly. There was gas leaking out of the water heater. We had to call the gas company in order to fix it. Very dissatisfied with the situation. They said they'd give a 10% discount on the next service call, but I wouldn't call them again.

Description of Work: They replaced busted pipes that were frozen and installed check valves. They promised to install 50 valves and ended doing less than 15. They promised to be available for city inspector but did not come. They did not give me blue prints of what they installed until I held their last pay check and then they did it.

Description of Work: They have come out to my house twice. The first time was to fix a leaky hose bib upon moving in, and they did a great job. They made sure there was a shut off valve, and it hasn't leaked since (4months later). The second time they came out was recently. My husband was looking above our bathroom ceiling and thought he saw a leak in a pipe that was dripping onto the drywall. We called them and they came out within two days to give an estimate. The guy who came out looked and looked exactly were my husband looked and said that it wasn't a leaky pipe. It was just left over glue (that looked shiny and wet like water) and debris from cutting and rerouting some pipes in the last remodel. He did not find any leaky pipes. Yay! Also, he gave me some advice on how to properly cover our hose bibs for the winter. Both times, they came out within a day or two of my initial call. Overall, I'm very pleased with their knowledge, workmanship, and honesty.

Description of Work: Replaced an outdoor water spigot and installed an internal shut-off valve. The price was competitive although given the actual work performed against price of materials, felt it was a wee bit high. The technician called ahead to advise he was on the way, showed up in the time allotted, examined the work to be done and clearly explained what he was going to do. He was professional, courteous and efficient. It took less than an hour, the spigot and shut-off valve were tested and checked for leaks and he cleaned up afterwards. Very nicely done. Two days later we received a handwritten envelope and hand-written thank you note with business card and refrigerator magnet. That was a nice touch that none of the other plumber services we've used has done.

He also thoroughly explained what all was done so that I (who has NO plumbing knowledge or experience) could understand. I asked questions about other future projects as well and he gave honest and informative answers (i.e. explaining what things should be taken care of sooner rather than later and what could wait).
Description of Work: Moved washer and dryer hook-ups (gas line, venting, water lines, output, etc.) connected newer washer and dryer, and replaced some piping. Also switched out garbage disposal.
